A wedding with lots of smiles, joy, happiness, and FUN because every detail of your wedding is meticulously prepared, thoroughly rehearsed, seamlessly prepared, perfectly polished and flawlessly delivered each and every time so you, your friends, and family can enjoy a smooth flowing, stress–free wedding celebration that will leave your guests saying "WOW - that was the best wedding ever!!” That's what we do each and every time!

...with professional wedding MC/DJ expert packages ranging from $695 to $2,495 and stunning lighting and decor packages starting at just $200 from Amore' DJ Lighting & Decor..

I know, so at this point, you’re probably asking yourself…”so, isn’t a DJ just a DJ?”

No, it's THE PERSON (not the company) you are hiring that will be performing, and here’s why:

AFTER THE VOWS: “almost 100% of Brides say they would have spent more of their budget on the entertainment."

WITHIN ONE WEEK AFTER THE RECEPTION: “78% of all Brides say they would have made the entertainment their highest priority!” Most importantly, “when asked, 81% of guests say the thing they remember most about a wedding is the entertainment above anything else.”

(These statistics were published in the St. Louis Bride & Groom magazine (2003); Simmons (2001); USA Today (2002); National Bride Service (2001), The Knot (2002); Brides Magazine (2001)

That’s huge!

Over 80% of your guests will remember the entertainment over the food, the flowers, the flavor cake, the color of the dresses, etc.? WOW!

So, who’s representing you to your guests?

Sometimes, I find that couples aren't sure even how to select a DJ, what to realistically budget or how important this one decision is to the success of the entire wedding celebration. This one decision is absolutely critical...

In fact, here's a short, informative article that was just featured on Colorado Destination Weddings about just that..."3 Critical Facts Brides Need to Know Before Hiring a DJ"

http://www.colorado-destination-weddings.com/three-critical-facts-you-should-know-before-hiring-a-professional-dj-entertainer/

I think you probably understand by now that our style and approach is very, very different. I take my chosen full-time profession very seriously. What I do is far, far beyond "just playing music" like other DJs...and when we chat, I'll show you the meticulous process we go through to back up everything promised. Don't just take my word for it though...

Here's just a few recent comments why the last three Brides booked Amore’ DJ Entertainment, Lighting & Decor after meeting with several other DJs:

"The reason we chose Amore DJ Entertainment is because you were very professional, detail oriented and organized and you help me feel a little less stressed about everything." - Kristen & Micah

"The reason we decided to book Matt with Amore DJ Entertainment is because they were well organized, confident, experienced, thorough, and ensured me that I will enjoy my wedding day as much as possible with minimal worries! He was the best choice for us! " - Krista & Nick

"The reason we decided to book Matt with Amore DJ Entertainment is because.... after speaking with him it seems like he has a lot of experience and is really concerned with making our day special as opposed to just making money. He has a lot of great ideas and helped me to see the importance of good, professional DJ entertainment at out wedding." - Chelsea & Eddie

Contrary to the other local DJs, we don't do "Cookie-Cutter-Weddings" where every wedding is exactly the same...where they play the same set music, in the same order, with the same flow of events, and even say the same comments on the mic referring only to the Newlyweds as “Bride and Groom” because they don’t take the time to learn the names. That’s terrible, yet as a guest at local weddings, I see it all the time!

I know that you are wanting to hire a professional wedding MC/DJ that will build, then maintain a seamless sequence of events; read the crowd and play great music; be tastefully involved and make your wedding uniquely reflect the two of you with some very cool and creative personalization - and all that is exactly what I do for each and every wedding. I will commit to be meticulously prepared, thoroughly rehearsed and perfectly polished before each and every wedding. This way, you both your friends and family can enjoy another smooth flowing, stress-free wedding and an extraordinary, FUN reception – just as we do with every wedding!

Let’s chat. Let’s meet. Let’s Skype.

I’d love to hear the vision for YOUR day and get you an exact price quote! Just pick a Starbucks near you, and I’ll be there!

I'm not sure if you will remember me, but you were the DJ for our wedding at Della Terra in April of 2010. I think we left a comment for you then, but I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the incredible job you did 3 1/2 years ago (I can't believe it's been that long!). I have a few friends that recently got engaged, so I have passed your information along to them. Talking about our reception with them brought back so many incredible memories and we just wanted to thank you again! I had several people tell me how great you were after our wedding, and we agree, of course! Everyone also loved the fun games you did!

I remember crying even when we initially met with you before our wedding, and of course I couldn't hold back the tears when I danced with my Dad (he did the voice over option).I have to say, I was able to hold back crying during the entire wedding and reception until my dance with my Dad!

What a huge role you played in making our day, 3 1/2 years ago, so special! I know this is pretty late, and I'm sure you don't get many follow up emails so many years after a wedding, but I have talked about you several times over the [past few years, I just had to email you!

I hope you are doing great, and I hope some of my friends will be able to have the honor to have you DJ their ceremony and or reception.

Matt did everything, and way more, than he said he would! We completely felt confident that he would do a great job from our very first meeting and left everything in his very capable hands. We heard at our first meeting, that he loves to let the Bride and Groom fully enjoy their day because he has a thorough, proven process and it works. He said he would take care of everything - and he did! All the small things that other DJs don't do from weddings we've been to in the past, he does. Things like making sure the champagne was poured before announcing the toast, etc. We were completely blown away with how much effort he puts into each one of his weddings - and it shows! Matt made the wedding a day I will never forget! I'm so glad we booked him!

Matt is the best! We picked several songs that were not on his website, and he never even mentioned it, just took care of them, and played them all! He had insight and professionalism, and great tact with some sensitive family situations. He also has a great sense of humor, and helped with all of our music and planning questions. He kept the reception moving so smoothly, yet faded into the background.

We worked with Matt and he was amazing. He did what we asked. When looking for DJ's, we had issues finding a DJ that would do our dice game for kissing. Matt loved the idea and ran with it. He was on time and ready to go. We needed a bathroom break and he allowed for one and even announced where the restrooms were at since they were in a strange location. He had all his equipment set up at the ceremony and reception site before the wedding started.

Jamie & Michael, it was an honor to work with you on your special day. Even though it was a little chilly and the guest count was smaller, everyone still had a blast celbrating the night away. Everyone loved the creative dice game too! Again, thank you for inlcuding us in your special day! Here's to wishing the two of you a long, happy life together!

Matt with Amore was super helpful. He made sure we got things done before the wedding and helped my husband with his wedding day jitters. Matt made sure everything moved smoothly and without interruption. For someone who likes to do everything myself and having no idea what the wedding day would bring, Matt made sure nothing was missed. We would definitely recommend Matt with Amore to anyone needing an MC for their event!

Our wedding was a great success, and people were dancing right up until it was time to call it a night and our time at the venue was over.

There were, however, a few things that turned me off about his service. The planning process with him included a ~50 page document that we were given one weekend to complete in the last few weeks before the wedding, which I felt was stressful - it would have been nicer to have been given more time. During the planning process, I felt like he was a bit pushy about how he liked to do things, and when I disagreed and said I wanted something else, it was clear he didn't like it, although, in his defense, he complied. The wedding went great, however. Everyone danced their shoes off until closing time, which was fabulous. My only complaint for the event itself was that we requested the Cha Cha Slide, and he played a version no one had ever heard before, not "Cha Cha Slide Part 2", which is the version that everyone actually knows. Maybe that's my fault - I didn't even think to specify, but as a DJ, you'd think that he would be up on the music that people are talking about.

Finally, at the end of the night, the lights came on (we didn't make a big exit, because we wanted to say goodbye to out of town guests), and he came up to us and asked us to fill out a review form for him. I was pretty taken aback by that one. We told him we'd do it when we got back in town from our honeymoon. He insisted that it would only take a few minutes. I couldn't believe we had to tell him "no" twice.

Overall, though, the wedding was awesome, and people were dancing all night, so Matt did his job, and in the end, I was happy. He is definitely a Type A personality - very organized and down to business. That's a good thing as a business person, but I found us butting heads just a bit as he made it clear that he disagreed with me on several occasions. I understand that he's the professional, and that he's been to more weddings that I have, but I feel like he could do more to make his clients feel like he could make THEIR vision of their wedding work, instead of trying to push his "this is the way I like to run things" approach.

Amore' Entertainment responded with the following comments:

Hi Jessica, thank you for your comments. We are always looking to improve and continue to offer a thorough and comprehensive service. I obviously never want to cause our engaged couples stress, but rather, I strive to be a happy partner in the whole joyous celebration and love every minute of what I do = )

The full reception confirmation packet was first sent on April 25th via email (generally 4 to 6 weeks prior as I had indicated) as we approach a wedding date.

It appears that the initial confirmation packet I sent on April 25th was not received; which could be due to email inbox size restrictions for attachments, an email or attachment labeled as spam, a server glitch, etc. Who knows why it was never received. So, I followed up to see how things were coming with the confirmation packet(s) mid May. This led me to re-send these same confirmation packet emails again on May 15th but added a request to confirm receipt of the confirmation documents (which I now do on all confirmation packets when they are sent.) This way, we both know when critical documents are sent and received. The initial confirmation packets sent on April 25th was due May 25th (~4 weeks to complete). I simply cut and pasted the initial documents I originally sent on the first email, then re-sent that same email again with all the same attachments a second time on May 15th. Your completed confirmation packet was received via an email attachment back to me on May 30th. Upon receipt, I immediately began to review music requests, the flow, make preparations, etc.

Yes, the packets are very thorough, packed full with creative, fresh and original ideas, song recommendations, wedding flow suggestions, etc that so many our couples continue to ask for. I can see how it might be stressful if you had from May 15th to when I received the packet back on May 30th since the initial email with those never got to you. Instead of having 3 to 4 weeks to complete them, you only had two weeks. I apologize and was unaware that the initial email with those documents wasn’t received until I followed up and re-sent them on May 15th.

In the end, it is ultimately about making sure that the two of you, your friends and family enjoy a smooth flowing, fun celebration that is tailored specifically to your vision for your wedding. That’s what I try to do for each couple.

At the conclusion of every wedding, my computer saves every song played in the exact order it was played for a printable list. There are multiple versions of the Cha Cha Slide, from the radio edit, live versions, club versions and various remixes, etc. With six different versions available at every wedding, I played the Cha Cha Slide labeled “Radio Edit” – the version that hit the radio airwaves and the popular version asked for most by couples. I’m sorry about any confusion.

Regarding the evaluation, I understand. It’s certainly not a problem – I simply followed up per the contract for an evaluation to be completed at the conclusion of the event by the Bride or Groom and another one by either the Bride or Groom’s parents ensuring any feedback is “fresh.” It’s specifically designed to take about 30 seconds with a few checkboxes to capture this quick feedback. I’m sorry if my request to complete the evaluation came across wrong. Your Dad did his, and the feedback indicated the service was “excellent.”

Again, I sincerely thank you so much for your comments. I certainly apologize if there was a mis-understanding at any point in the process and always strive to meet every couple’s vision with over 510 original and fun, creative ideas, suggestions, hints and tips with an effort to continually improve in our process, and communication. Again, thank you!

I wish you and Woody all the best in your new life together!
