Up front, we accept partial blame for the quality of service we received for our DJ needs. Let this be a caution - if you negotiate your fee, you risk quality of service.

Our initial contact with the manager of Audio Entertainment went quite well and we were pleased with the planning process. Jeff Kimple was great at explaining our options and guiding us through selections and he was quite honest in cautioning us about some of the ideas that we had. Also, we have to give kudos to Audio Entertainment for being able to come up with the obscure song titles that we requested. Then our actual DJ (Chris) contacted us. Again, in advance, he sounded great on the phone. We had multiple conversations with him on the phone - we thought everything was set.

The day of the wedding, DJ Chris did show up in formal attire, though he also wore a do-rag on his head throughout the reception. I give him points for being able to accommodate our request to play snippets of 4 different songs for the entrance music. Things seemed to be going well through our first dance, my dance with my older sons (who escorted me down the aisle), and the mother-son dance... until it was time for us to dance with my daughter (so she wouldn't feel left out). We had selected "I Hope You Dance" by LeeAnn Womack: the DJ called my daughter to the dance floor, announced the song, and then played something else entirely (something about a man in a fast truck?) and it seemed to take the DJ a full minute to realize he played the wrong song!

Otherwise... we had requested 80's Rock/80's Dance/Classic Rock and it seemed like we received more line dances than anything else. For crowd involvement, we had selected a very few songs: Electric Slide, Macarena, Chicken Dance (the kids really wanted this one)... and instead we had Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide, Cupid Shuffle, Macarena, YMCA... no Chicken Dance (disappointed kids).

And then... to end it all... after we danced our last (slow) dance... the DJ closed the reception with Lady Gaga's Bad Romance. We don't remotely like Lady Gaga and I just have to say it, "Really? Seriously? Does that seem remotely appropriate???"

The best DJ service

From the first moment I spoke to DJ Jeff I knew I had selected the right person for my wedding and reception entertainment. Jeff was extremely kind and informative on everything. He made me feel at ease and I had something less to worry about. He played everything we had asked for correctly. I highly recommend him he is prompt and very professional. Thank you for making our moments special!!
