Every event is special whether it's a large wedding, a corporate event or a backyard barbeque. We at Baker Tent & Party Rental want to make sure that your event is one you and others will remember fondly for years to come.

With 40 years of experience, Steve Baker has worked hard to meet the needs of a growing community. He started the business out of his garage with only one tent. Today he has over 200 tents of all shapes, sizes and colors. He regularly attends tent shows and conferences throughout the country to stay on top of the latest trends and safety standards in the industry.

In addition to the tents, Baker Tent & Party Rental has added many other items to our inventory including tables, chairs, gas and charcoal grills, heaters, generators, staging, dance floors, coat racks, PA Systems, lighting, portable toilets, super coolers and LINENS!

The theme of any event is represented by color! And what better way to add color to your event than beautiful table LINENS. We have over 100 colors and fabrics available to make your event "Pop" with color! Does your caterer or banquet facility already provide white linens for your tables? You can still add color with affordable table runners or overlays. Colorful napkins can make a huge difference at only .50 cents each.

Need help deciding? Come visit our 2,000 sq. ft. showroom for ideas. Use our LINEN WORKSHOP to try the different linens on bare tables. Bring your centerpiece in and get the full effect. Our friendly office staff is always there to assist you and show you different options.

Do you offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services?

Do you have a showroom available for the client to come preview rental items?
We have a 2,000 sq ft showroom with many table settings on display. We also have a "Linen Workshop" with bare tables and a wall of linens. Here you can come to try different linens on the tables. Bring your centerpiece, mix and match the linens until you get that "Perfect Look". We will even take a snapshot of your table set up for you to take with you. Don't be surprised when you're big day is here. Know in advance exactly how it will look!
How far in advance do you suggest reserving rental items?
This depends on the time of year that you are holding your event. Obviously June is a very popular time for graduations and May - Sept. is always popular for weddings. We suggest that you reserve your items as soon as you know what you want for your event. We will usually have "something" available regardless of when you order. But if you have a particular kind of tent, or style of chair that you definitely want, it is best to reserve it right away. 
 
 Linen orders are processed before the event and require more time. It is best to reserve your linens at least 2-3 weeks prior to your event. This allows us time to purchase your linens, if we don't already have them in stock. Of course, we will always do our best to accommodate last minute orders.
Can the order be modified close to the event date?
We are holding your items for you, making them unavailable for rent to other customers. However, we do realize that with large events (especially weddings) it is difficult to know how many are going to attend until it gets closer to the actual event date. Because of this, we allow you to reduce your table and chair order by 10% without penalty. You can always increase your order depending on availability.
What if I need to cancel my order?
At the time you reserve your order, we require a 50% deposit. This deposit is non-refundable and will be forfeited if you cancel your order. If you cancel within 24 hours of your event, there could be additional labor fees assessed. (loading of the truck, processing the linens, etc.)
What are your hours of delivery?
Our "normal" hours for delivery are 9am-6pm Sunday through Saturday. We will deliver outside of these hours for an additional fee. (early or late)
Do you have a minimum order size for delivery?
No. You can order 1 chair or even 1 linen. Although you might find it more cost effective to pick up the item from our offices and save the delivery fee, we will be glad to deliver any size order out to you.
What if guests spill food, drinks, etc. on the rental items?
We include a 5% non-refundable damage waiver in the total cost of your rental. Any item accidently damaged during your event is covered under this damage waiver. Just bring the item back to us and there is no additional charge to you.

Baker Tent and Party Rental set up the tent and chairs for our outdoor wedding at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. They did a good job. The tent and chairs were in good shape and clean. Baker Tent Rental positioned the tent and chairs to take advantage of the pretty view of the Grand River in the background. The set up and take down was done efficiently and on time.

I chose this company because they rented both chairs and aisle runners, which I needed (a lot of places don't have aisle runners). They had a lot of different options for chairs, and they were willing to make us a purple satin aisle runner to match our colors and fabric. It was a beautiful touch, and I really appreciated being able to get something so specific without having to make it myself. We also rented a sound system, and Baker delivered everything and set it up, then came and took it all down, so we didn't have to worry about anything!

Absolutely wonderful tent and service! Our wedding was right between a lake and banquet hall. The amount of space we measured was just enough for one of their larger tents. WELL, my now husband and I completely forgot to factor in space for stakes!! The gentlemen who showed up kindly let us know of the problem and quickly offered to resolve the issue by switching the tent for a slightly smaller, but suitable size. There was no issue with availability or schedules. They were flexible with our needs and worked very quickly! The tent was absolutely perfect for our guests and reception. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! I couldn't have been happier with your level of service!

We had a great experience with Baker, we had an unfortunate event have and were no longer able to go through the original rental service we had planned. I called them up 2 days prior to the wedding and was able to reserve several items that would be ready for pick up the following day. They were very flexible and understanding when we were unable to return the items the next day following the wedding.

We rented linens and a few cocktail tables from Baker Tent Rental. They were very easy to work with. Their showroom and wall of fabric made it easier for me to decided upon color combinations. They even let me bring in my centerpieces so that I could see it all together. The prices were afforable. The day before the wedding, we realized we needed to rent more table linens. They were flexible and able to aid us in our last minute need. Everyone there is super helpful and friendly. We would use Baker Tent Rental again and recommend them to anyone. Thanks!
