Marriott did an incredible job. The coordinator Justine took care of everything. The hotel was so accommodating and the food was delicious. I felt like I did not have to worry about anything. Every staff member I came in contact with was kind and fun to be around. The man, Wayne, who assisted in moving our luggage in and out of our hotel room was honestly incredible. He was funny and patient. The hotel was even able to update me from a bridal suite to the Roosevelt Suite. I do not have one bad word to say about the Marriott. I would recommend this location to anyone contemplating venues for their wedding.

This was such a beautiful venue, with top notch service and attention to detail that everyone was raving about! I was a little skeptical at first, since while both the sales management team and the event management team were wonderful, the transition from one to the next seemed a little disjointed. However, we quickly learned that we had nothing to worry about. Angie Hilz took PHENOMENAL care of us as an event manager at the venue, she was so flexible and accommodating, and we were treated like VIPs. We loved our wedding day from start to finish, and got so many compliments on not only how beautiful everything was, but what amazing service our guests received. For the price, it was worth it- and we did not receive any hidden, unknown, or surprise charges at the end (in fact, it was less than expected!)

Of the downtown hotels, we opted for the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront for our wedding. And we have no regrets. Unlike some nearby hotels, which have a very business/institutional feel, the Marriott was warm and welcoming for all events linked to the wedding. We also were fortunate to have excellent hotel support from the planning through execution phases of our wedding-related events. With very few hiccups (those linked to the reservations side of the house -- not event/banquet services-- we were able to plan an entire weekend with the hotel as the focus, for our guests. Food selections were lovely and very well-priced for white glove service. Even the morning after brunch was excellent. We could not have been more pleased with the quality of food, service and staff professionalism. Even the hospitality suite and major quests' rooms received special attention from the hotel. Stephanie DeGrazia, our event manager, was patient, responsive and truly a pleasure to work with. One often hears about the chaos of wedding planning, With Stephanie's support, we had a calm, smoothly executed and incredibly successful weekend.

I must say that I was sadly very disappointed in the services that we received for my wedding. As loyal Marriott customers, we had chosen this venue with the belief that they would be reliable for holding a high quality event. They seemed very well organized and I felt very confident that they would help to deliver the wedding of my dreams. However, we had multiple issues occur throughout the planning process and the night of the event.1.At the tasting, we had gone through and selected a variety of details such as what color chairs we wanted, what shape we wanted the chargers, how to fold the napkins, etc. However, a week or two before the wedding, I had called our planner to verify all of our choices, and she acted like she knew nothing of the decisions we had made during the tasting (which she had assured me during the event that she had written down). What was the point of the tasting if they weren't going to remember what decisions we had made? 2. Additionally, we were supposed to arrive on Friday at the hotel and had requested an early check in so that we could get ready for the other events that we had scheduled for that evening. We were told by our planner that it may not be possible and because of the high volume of people staying at the hotel.Then we found out that SEVERAL of our guests had been granted an early check in time and were there ahead of us, the people spending thousands of dollars in their venue who should have been there first to welcome their guests. 3. We had opted to do hotel gift boxes. The hotel would not hand them out to people as they checked in but said they would deliver them for us. They had a list of our guests, and yet still handed the boxes out to another wedding that was staying in the hotel. 4. We paid $10 extra for one of our meal options, but our guests were not given what we had discussed and agreed upon. The food was great and the ballrooms beautiful, but the mistakes were frustrating given the time we spent planning.

The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront put on a perfect wedding weekend! My husband and I wanted a place where all of our guests could spend the night so they didn't have to worry about driving. From our first planning meeting, our contact, Stephanie, made sure everything was perfect. The venue, food, and service were all wonderful. I would recommend to any bride looking for a gorgeous, all-inclusive venue overlooking the Baltimore Inner Harbor!

The Marriott at the Waterfront was the getting ready location for our wedding. After speaking with several unhelpful representatives, we were able to work with Fernando- he is fantastic. We had spoken to Fernando for months in trying to reserve different kinds of room the night before; he was professional, understanding, and genuine with the services he provided. He offered the best rates and even other suggestions to help us in our budgeting for the number of rooms we needed and for their purposes. The rooms were pristine with the amazing water view and accommodating to our needs in preparations and even storing our luggage for after the reception. We would definitely recommend using this particular hotel service if you're in the Baltimore area (if you have Marriott rewards card/Military/Government rate all the better)

The Marriott at the Waterfront was the getting ready location for our wedding. After speaking with several unhelpful representatives, we were able to work with Fernando- he is fantastic. We had our East Indian wedding reception at this venue. The event was for 366 guest, several of whom were out of town. Two issues we had the following -

1. In order to ensure that our guest all had rooms, we received the vacant rooms in our name. We transferred the rooms over to our guests once they confirmed they were attending. We conveyed the changed to the venue several times and even received xcel sheet showing the changes. When my wife Boss and Vice President who flew in from Spain for the wedding tired to check in. He did not have a room in his name. I had to leave the rehearsal dinner and come over the the Marriott to correct the problem. It turned out the rooms were still in my name and were never transferred over despite Xcel sheets showing the contrary.

2. The second incident occurred after we received our bill. At the time of booking, we discussed that all service fees would be part of our contract price. We added additional linens and changed the chairs at a later date. At the time of the booking, there was no discussion of additional service fees. These were present on final bill and when addressed with the management. No adjustments were made.

For the price we paid these incidents should not have occurred. Besides this, the staff is very prompt with follow up, the venue and location is beautiful. Just make sure you get everything in writing before.

We had our East Indian wedding reception at this venue. The event was for 366 guest, several of whom were out of town. Two issues we had the following -

From the day we first looked at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel to our wedding day, we had the BEST experience! We looked at three hotels in the Baltimore Inner Harbor and there was no comparison; the Marriott Waterfront was, hands down, the most beautiful of the venues and it seemed like we would get the most for our money there.

We were assigned Christine as our event coordinator and she was a dream to work with! All questions were answered quickly and with great detail (and I asked a lot of questions!). She went above and beyond to make sure all our requests were fulfilled, including importing beers from New York, which is where my husband and I live. She was involved in all aspects of our wedding, from the tasting to every last detail on the day of. I could not imagine a better person to work with!

The hotel itself was a beautiful place to have the ceremony and reception, and the perfect place to have our guests stay. Almost all of our guests received harbor view rooms, and were very impressed at the view and amenities. The bridal suite is beyond words. It provided stunning views and more than enough space for my bridesmaids, moms, and grandmas to get ready!

The food at the cocktail hour and reception was absolutely delicious and the service was beyond our expectations.

Unfortunately, after the wedding, we were billed extra for things that were not agreed upon in our contract. They billed us for more people than we had attend brunch, and for lighting that was never approved. After many words back and forth, the issue was resolved. Even with this situation, I would not hesitate to recommend the Marriott Waterfront to anyone!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. That is all I can say. Christine Humphreys was instrumental in helping to plan and execute my dream day. She was one of the best parts of my wedding at the Marriott. She is sweet, professional, extremely hard working and soo talented!! I regret having a wedding planner as she made sure everything was done and done perfectly and my planner was totally useless (will leave that review on another page). The grounds and accommodations were so beautiful. My guests were awed by the hospitality of the staff and the professionalism of every Marriott employee. I am so happy to have had my wedding here. Additionally, Chef Santosh was AMAZING. He customized our menu to my family's background, learning and executing new recipes flawlessly. There is nothing this man cannot do.
