The Bank St. Annex is a family owned and operated reception venue. Our sincerest effort is making your special day a truly memorable affair. We have been in operation since 1998, specializing in weddings and family events. Each event is carefully planned out with an owner present overseeing the cooking and service.

The building was once The Easton National Bank, (The 6th Bank in Pennsylvania and the oldest bank in the Lehigh Valley) and was rebuilt in 1929 with an art deco architecture design. The Bank St. Annex is over 10,000 square feet, most of which is available exclusively for your guests. Many of the original features of the bank are still apparent today, including our second floor vault, teller windows, sitting rooms and our famous hand crafted 40 foot ceiling. The entrance is on South Bank St., a quiet pedestrian walkway shared with The Crayola Factory and located directly across from the Easton parking garage.

It would be our pleasure to provide a tour of the Annex and preview the appropriate package for your unique event. Read less

The Bank Street Annex provided us with a beautifully historic venue that fit our personalities perfectly. Kerry was a no nonsense person who made sure that things ran smoothly. She was funny and kind, but didn't take crap from anyone! I liked that she was able to keep things going and that I didn't have to worry about A THING. The food at this venue was delicious. The portions were huge (so much so that people couldn't finish their dinner). I loved that the pricing for this venue included everything, from food to alcohol to taxes, etc. It made planning that much easier. I can't say enough about this place. It exceeded my expectations and was a perfect place for a wedding. The venue is large but it was still intimate and was not overwhelming. Perfect place if you want something a little more unique and vintage!

My wife & I were married at the Bank Street Annex on October 11, 2013. We currently live in the Philadelphia area but were looking for a venue that was really unique. There are so many venues in the Philadelphia area but sadly most that are unique cost a fortune. The others were just your standard ballroom, which lets be honest, there isn't much appealing about those. We went up to the Lehigh Valley to look at several venues and liked a ton of them in this area, but sadly a lot of them were just too pricey that was until we found the Bank Street Annex. Now, I am not going to say that it was cheap to have the wedding here because it definitely was nothing like that, but for what you got and how unique this place is as a venue, we were pretty much sold after the initial tour.

As for the wedding itself, Kerry is the person who takes control of your wedding. Some people will not like her take charge personality, but she's great at what she does. She tries to make sure that you get the most of your day. We had a lot of issues on our wedding day due to people running date because of weather and traffic. She was a bit pushy, but when you sit back and look at all she does and how she is the glue that holds the wedding together, you can understand why. I for one truly appreciated it even if at first everyone thinks she comes off as a you know what. Also, Kerry's attention to detail is impressive. We had a film themed wedding and she decorated the room beautifully.

As for the food, what can I say it was amazing and all our guests raved about it. We had the pasta and dip station and the dips were to die for. As for appetizers, we had mini crab cakes, beef satay, and bruschetta, which again were the talk of the wedding. As for the main courses, we had beef, chicken, and crab cakes. The portions were huge & the food was prepared to your liking. Amazing!

All in all Bank Street Annex is a wonderful place to have a wedding and is extremely unique. I highly recommend it.

The Bank Street was a wonderful venue for our wedding. The food is absolutely amazing. While Kerry is a tough personality sometimes, she does it because she wants to make your day amazing and she does. The venue is beautiful and every staff person is great and helpful! This venue is absolutely elegant and top notch! Their pricing is one-stop shopping...includes everything (food, drink, tip, staff, ivory linens, & parking) so there are no hidden costs. They have the facilities to have your ceremony on-site if you choose. There is also a bridal suite on the 3rd floor that is a huge bonus to use to get ready. The food is amazing and you get a lot of it! The staff was very easy to work with and our wedding went off without any issues.

If you want your guests to have an awesome experience, this is the place to go. Bank St. is beautiful and unique.
We have gotten nothing but compliments from our guests on the food, the place, etc...many people jokingly called it the "wedding of the century".
Overall we were very pleased. Again--ALL our guests had a fabulous meal and a wonderful time, and all of them loved Bank St. Annex. They were all treated like royalty by the staff, and we are very grateful for that.
You really can't go wrong with Bank St. Annex

We had both our ceremony and reception at the Bank Street. We ultimately decided on this location because it was so different than a typical banquet hall. The building has character which isn't always easy to find.

The venue exceeded everyone's expectations and we received a TON of compliments. Honestly, I was a little put off by the event coordinator in the beginning. She didn't respond quickly to some of my emails which bothered me. But, as the wedding got closer I became more of a priority. I now understand that she has a ton of other events and needed to prioritize. She really kept things running smoothly on the day of our wedding. NOTHING was behind schedule, the food came out quickly, and we have a lot of time for dancing which was really important to me.

The price is "all inclusive" of food, alcohol, gratuity, and taxes which is nice. You know exactly how much you will be spending. I think the price was really fair in comparison to other venues I looked at. The food was really good (filet & crab cakes), though I didn't love the appetizer course we chose. Cocktail hour had a TON of food which was great.

I'd recommend having your reception here! We were told by many people that the location was great, and that it was one of the nicest weddings they've been to!

I absolutly love the inside of the ball room in the Bank St. Annex. There isnt really anywhere besides Hotel/Golf Courses that offer a wedding package and look like this! Also, The chair covers and sashes were part of the package which was great, knowing they could be over thousands of dollars. Also, they offere 4 different priced packages that they try to fit your budget. Which most of the packages have all the alcohol included and have a 5 course meal, which is a big plus that I thought.
Contacting the manager, she got back to me sometimes really fast and other times slow. It was better communicating through email, which I gradually found out she response faster that way. Through emails and meetings she was always nice..until the day of the wedding! She wasnt a monster, but you can def. tell she was stressed out. The bridal party arrived 30-45 minutes early then cocktail hour, since it rained and we were planning on getting out pictures done in the circle for out outside pictures and had no where else to go! Which the manager wasnt too thrilled we arrived early and gave a snippy remark. I also encountered dropping our wedding stuff off 2 days before the wedding, and she ended up booking another apt at the same time with another bride and came off really bitchy...like it was my fault she over booked?! She was also rude to the DJ and the Photographer, but im not sure if it was because all of the pressure or what....
Overall the Food was excellent and the Staff was the best, the servers did an outstanding job!

We absolutely loved this place and had a perfect wedding! I cannot say enough good things about this place. The old art deco bank has a ton of character and so much room. We had our ceremony and reception in the main room. Though they did tell us due to space, some of the tables would be visible during the ceremony, Kerry staged them with just the center pieces and it looked fabulous! It was really nice to have a separate space upstairs for the bridal party to get dressed and take pictures. They also brought up a ton of food beyond what we paid for, for the bridal party’s cocktail hour (filled with a bar and a personal waiter which was with us the whole night). We found their prices unbelievably reasonable, especially for what you get considering it is just over the river from NJ where prices can START at $150 per person… We got the middle package and the food was amazing. No other wedding we went to before or since then included a salad, appetizer and intermezzo. Kerry, the hall coordinator, worked so well with us to make it such a perfect day. We were able to add more passed appetizers during the cocktail hour (added but reasonable price) as well as upgrades to the bar. Everything includes tax & gratuity and their extras were very reasonable. Kerry really was great at getting back to us and working with us on the day of timeline. She also gave us a list of recommended vendors and worked with all of our vendors to get everything set up. They do provide basic linens, but we decided to get nicer ones from a local rental place that they’ve worked with before, as well as silver chargers. One thing that others complained about I thought was great- Everything needs to be dropped off two days before so they can make sure everything is set up for you. I found this probably the best thing we did. We were able to get everything to her before the day and didn’t have to worry about it the day of. They also recently spent a lot of $$ to update the second floor with period artwork and decorations, which really gives it that added touch of the 1920’s. I really can’t say enough great things about this place- beautiful space, great food, wonderful service and a reasonable price!!!

I cannot say enough good things about the Bank St. Annex. We were completely thrilled with every aspect of our wedding. The food was fabulous! The coordinator at the site couldn't have been more helpful and responsive. The facility is absolutely beautiful and there is nothing in the area like it. While the prices can seem slightly steep, keep in mind that all taxes and fees are included, there are no extra fees at all. Keep this in mind when comparing to prices from other sites. Everything was set up for us from centerpieces/favors/table toppers/decorations and all the other little extras were put into place just as I asked.

HIGHLY RECOMENDED !!!

This place looks beautiful lit up at night but its the small details that bothered me. Like the paint chipping off the walls in some places, the fact i was told that the elevator would be working the night of the wedding and it wasnt, looked dirty in some areas too. I liked that it was an old 1930's Art Deco Bank converted to a ballroom. I still get comments on it today - 3 yrs later, how people like it ! kerry was great...food great...service great.....one other complaint, being that my wedding was a friday night i had to have all my decorations cleared out that night , instead of next morning like most places.......one other thing - NOT in the best part of town, neighbors are torn out warehouses!!!

Overall, the Bank Street was a wonderful location for my wedding. It's a 1920's restored art deco bank and it looks just fabulous lit up at night. We had about 70 people so it was nice and intimate, but people could walk around on the balconies too. Everything went pretty well the day of.....on the plus side, the food was great, the waitstaff was very nice. On the downside, the website says they are all about the details and...since I've booked with them they raised their prices considerably. I would not say the pre-wedding service was all about the details. It seemed like they forgot things that were discussed and certain things that should have been standard questions seemed very out of the ordinary to them. Also, it was included in the contract that they would put up the decorations, but we wound up doing most of it ourselves b/c they said "they would do their best" and didn't seem very equipped to handle this to a high standard. On the positive side, Kerry did put chair covers on all the chairs in the cocktail hour just b/c it looked nicer and didn't charge us for them. I definitely had a good experience here don't get me wrong, I just think they need to step it up a notch or two to make the place a cut above....and deserving of the prices they are now charging. For us, it was a great deal!
