We went with this location because of the size of the ballroom, proximity to our ceremony site, and the low minimum on food and beverage. We were told that we could not have a tasting because they don't keep that particular food on hand. We were told that the ballroom would be remodeled, and it wasn't. It was difficult to get a hold of our contact person, and when we finally met, she claimed that she "forgot" her paper work somewhere. We had set a particular amount that we wanted to spend on alcohol and for some reason, my parents card was charged $3,000 well over the agreed upon amount for it. All of our food was served before the bridal party arrived so when we got there, everyone had eaten dinner and they had not replenished the food for us. One of my bridesmaids and my mother had to speak to someone to correct the problem. The set up of the room was as planned and looked beautiful, but the ice sculpture my mother had ordered to surprise us with cost quite a bit more than the agreed upon price, and instead of calling to confirm, it was just charged to the account anyway. We had silver plated cake servers with our names and the date engraved on them that disappeared right after the reception. It took my mother a week of calling to track them down, and when we got them back, they had been stained and scratched with gouges in the silver plating. I don't think any of our guests noticed much of this, but my husband and I were quite upset about all of this. All of the dealings with this venue were somewhat difficult and the catering manager operates like a sneaky salesman. Never again.
