I am not sure how this bridal shop is still afloat, as they only exist to scam people out of their money. Check the BBB's recent complaints. Don't give these people any of your time or money. It will be a waste and only cause drama when you have to fight to get your money back and scramble to find a new dress or dresses for your wedding.

If you are actually able to reach her on the phone or in the store (which is highly unlikely), owner Nancy will talk sweetly and say whatever you want to hear. She told me on three different occasions she had ordered my MOH dress and it would be in no later than the beginning of December. After not hearing anything by mid-December, I emailed and called repeatedly, only to get a "voice mail full" message and no response by email. When I finally reached Nancy, I said I needed proof the dress was on the way or an immediate refund. She said she would email the shipping confirmation and never did.

I finally called the designer to discover the dress had been discontinued and Bridal World is no longer an authorized seller of their designs. Nancy completely lied about ordering my dress after taking a nearly $200 deposit from me 6 months prior. Now I can only hope to get my money back as I scramble to find another dress before the February wedding.

Everything Nancy says is a lie in effort to keep whatever money you've already given her. This may have been a legitimate business at one time but they are now taking whatever they can from people before they go down completely. Go literally anywhere else and find people who are honest and professional. Nancy couldn't care less about you or your wedding. She belongs in jail!

PLEASE WATCH Fox31 News TONIGHT...... This is by far the worst bridal shop in Colorado as others have stated. Please STAY away from here. Nancy Pazolli (owner of bridal world) takes your wedding parties deposits for bridesmaids dresses without ever ordering the dresses. After 6 months of calling her, many trips to the store which always seems to be closed, and today my fiance finally caught up with her at the store. Nancy states the dresses are not there, even though she was suppose to order them on February 16, 2013 with the $800+ deposit from the wedding party. This was after the original fitting of the bridesmaids months prior on September 16,2012. After the deposit for the dresses, she suddenly moved the store out of the Colorado Mills Mall to a strip mall at 9187 W. Jewell Avenue, Lakewood, Co.
The encounter my fiance had with Nancy today was horrible! She physically pushed my fiance, and her niece out of the store, refusing to even give the deposit money back, or order the dresses. Nancy told her the dresses had to be paid in full for them to be ordered now (WHAT!!! Who in their right mind would give her more $). Our wedding is 70 days away, and we now our out of the deposit $ and no dresses for the bridesmaids. Nancy also stated she is going out of business and called the police after pushing them out of the store. I told my fiance to also call the police to file a formal complaint so we can go to court. I then instructed her to call all the news channels, and Fox31 news sent a reporter. It will air tonight and hopefully more brides call the station to report this horrible business owner and her husband so they are NEVER allowed to open another location anywhere in the USA.
My fiance put me on speaker phone during this whole fiasco and all I could hear was Nancy refusing to refund the deposit or do anything to correct the issue.

STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM NANCY AND BRIDAL WORD AS POSSIBLE! I don't even know where to begin… We ordered 5 Bill Levekoff bridesmaid dresses at the end of May for a mid-November wedding and were told they would arrive in early September. We chose to order through Bridal World because I had a bridesmaid that lived in Colorado and Bridal World offered to ship the other dresses for free to Philadelphia (otherwise it would have cost more to order them in Philly and ship them to Colorado). Totally not worth the $20 savings.

We had not heard anything from Nancy (the incompetent owner of Bridal World) by the first week in September. My MOH called and Nancy said they would arrive by the middle of the month. By the last week in September we had heard nothing, so my bridesmaids and I started calling every day - no one would answer and we left polite (initially) voicemails asking to be called back. Her voicemail filled up after a week and after 10 days I finally told my husband who called daily and was finally able to get in touch with her by the beginning of October. Nancy said she had a personal issue and was out of the office, however she gave him her email so we could get in touch with her if she didn't answer the phone. She promised the dresses by the end of the week and said she would update us. She did not get back in contact with us and we again had to call/email her several times to get a response. This happened twice more, with her giving us a date they would arrive, promising to call us to confirm, then not calling us by the date SHE sent. The dresses arrived in Colorado the last week in October and to save time we had my bridesmaid fly them out to Philly. Again, my wedding was in mid November, so my bridesmaids had less than 3 weeks to get alterations done.

I must have gotten lucky...compared to reading other people's experiences. I went to Bridal World just to look around and ended up finding my dress, which fit my perfectly. The dress was a $1400 Justin Alexander. I loved it, just not the price. She let me buy the floor model for $750! She said that I could bring back the dress for alterations. The next time that I was at the mall, she was no longer there. From looking at her website, it seems that she moved locations. I did not take my dress to her for alternations. I went elsewhere. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Must have got her on a good day!

Although I found the perfect dress here at the price I wanted, dealing with the workers at Bridal World was my biggest stressor and challenge. Each of my bridesmaids experienced rudeness over the phone when processing their orders. My dress was altered incorrectly, so my mother had to re-do what was done sloppily. I showed up for an appointment (drove 1 hr & 2o min) only to be told that we needed to reschedule and my altered dress was not completed. This was the end of my patience from them. In addition, time was cut way too close. I found my dress in July 2010, and it was not ready until April 2011-- 2 days before I needed it for my bridal portraits, which were out of town. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They also put more priority in selling prom dresses, which consume a lot of time. I would recommend a place that caters only to brides.

Aarrgh, where do I start? How about the good things.

1. I was looking for a specific dress and Nancy had it shipped for free from another store she has in Kansas just so I could try it on.
2. I was given about a $100 discount from the listed price for purchasing the sample dress in store (which no one had tried on yet - or so was said).
3. Was able to successfully alter a size 24 dress to a size 12 - my bridesmaid was supposed to have been 9 months pregnant but ended up not being so. That alteration was hard and it ended up looking pretty good!

Bad things.

1. I was told that extra lace had been ordered for my dress to make some custom alterations. I called 2 months before my wedding to get it, to find out that it 'hadn't come in yet' but it would be there in a week. A week later I called to find out how much she had actually ordered and OOPS was told that it hadn't been ordered yet, and it would take three weeks to get and cost me $100/yd (where I was told before it was included in the price of my dress). So now 4 weeks before my wedding I still didn't have the lace. Long story short, didn't get the lace and didn't get to make the alterations I wanted. She is a LIAR.
2. Did not bustle my dress correctly as discussed, and it had to be redone 2 days before my wedding.
3. You may get the dress for a discount, but everything else is way overpriced so be careful. Typically the bustle is included in the dress price and they charged me $60. Never assume that anything is included in the price.
4. NEVER once were my messages returned. I would call and leave messages over and over and never got a call back. Could only talk to Nancy if she happened to pick up the phone that day. Do not trust her promises.
5. Employee Stephanie is unfriendly to work with and could care less about making you happy.

Bottom line: Good to purchase one-time items but DO NOT count on for any services whatsoever.

This was the only problem that I ran into in all of my planning. I couldn't believe the amount of difficulty I had with this store. I ordered the dress in August of 2008 for my May 2009 wedding and was not informed as to when it would come in. I called in October to inquire if it was in and was to that couture dresses take about 4 months. That was fine and I expected to get a call in mid December for my initial fitting. I called late December and was told the dress would be there on January 9th. I called on that date to book a fitting only to be told the dress was not in. The new date I was given after numerous calls was Jan. 19th. That date came and went. After that I began calling every week to find out if my dress was there. I wouldn't get calls back if I left a message. I began to worry I wouldn't get my dress for my wedding after I was told it still wasn't there in mid Feb. My dress did finally get there Feb. 23rd. I had problems right away because my dress was 2 sizes too big! I have not lost or gained more than 5 lbs. in the last 8 years!! After 3 months of being told my dress would be altered I tried on my dress for the final fitting a week before my wedding only to find the dress was still pinned but not altered! It did end up ok, not perfect for my wedding and the stress was not worth it! I would have liked slight alterations to the final but it was too late. I would not advise any bride to do any business with them.

Although I found my dream wedding dress here--this place was my biggest nightmare compared to all the different vendors I worked with. Everyone in the store is completely unorganized and never has a clue where to find information. There is no system. Even my bridesmaids commented on how they were worried they wouldn't get their dress because the staff always seemed confused. We spent a lot of money with this store & I was disrespected on several occasions. And--if you expect them to call you back just because they say they will--forget it. You have to call over and over again to the point where you feel as though you are being the pest because they do not believe in returning calls. Everything ended up working out with the dresses--but this was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I bought my wedding dress, attendants dresses, and veil from Bridal World. The customer service provided at Bridal World is like none other. They strive to meet your needs and are knowledgeable of dress styles and the right alterations to make your wedding day attire fit beautifully. Their prices are also very competitive and are lower than many of the upscale dress stores in the area. I receieved nothing but the best service from Bridal World and highly recommend them.

DO NOT GO TO BRIDAL WORLD! THEY SCREWED ME OVER AND I WANT TO KEEP EVERY OTHER BRIDE POSSIBLE FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THEM.

I wrote a lengthy review and I've posted it on Yelp and Google in an attempt to keep as many other brides away from here as possible. To summarize: Nancy sold me a dress that was 6 sizes too big (I don't know a thing about alterations and I didn't realize just how large it was because of course they just clamp it on you so it looks like it fits and tell you you look beautiful in everything), telling me that I was getting a deal on it because it was the floor model so she knocked $200 off the price, which was originally $800 at their store. I knew the alterations would cost a few hundred dollars, because it needed to be taken in, hemmed a little and the straps needed to be shortened, but that's normal for a bridal gown. Didn't seem like a huge deal to me. I left the dress with them after paying for it, but later discovered an overwhelming amount of evidence that this business was dishonest and unprofessional in every way.

READ THE REVIEWS. Ruined dresses, unfinished dresses, late dresses, ALMOST NOTHING POSITIVE.

I rescued my dress from them and looked elsewhere for the alterations, only to discover that they are going to cost me $680. I paid $645 for the dress itself (tax included). Do the math! I am paying a total of around $1300 for a dress that's worth $800. I'm certain that Nancy KNEW. She was hoping to have them done at her store. Anyone in the business would know that beading and lace make alterations time-consuming and expensive. She was trying to get as much money as possible from me. If I had bought a BRAND NEW, appropriately-sized dress somewhere else, I would have been saved all this stress AND HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BRIDAL WORLD WHATEVER YOU DO! THEY ARE SCAMMING BRIDES.
They even have a no returns/refunds policy, so I'm stuck now!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE. I purchased a pair of (overpriced) wedding shoes on June 18th, 2012, and was told that they could be dyed in one day, and then could be picked up after one day of drying time. The woman working said the woman who does the dying would be in later that day and would call and tell me when they could be picked up- I needed them by the 25th for my dress alteration appt., and they said this was no problem. Noone ever called, so I called the next day, and spoke with "Cheryl," who said she would personally call with an update before she left that day since noone had bothered the day before. Well, she never called, either. On my THIRD phone call, I received no apology, but was told that I could pick them up the 25th. I showed up this morning to pick up my shoes (for my appt. TOMORROW) and the woman said "I didn't get to them. I'm sure someone called you." OK - first, noone called me EVER, despite my three prior phone calls. I explained how they were guaranteed to be done today because I cannot have my wedding dress altered without them, and she said I could go buy shoes somewhere else, then, still being incredibly rude. My patience was gone at this point, so I asked her (loudly) if she was aware that she had a 2 out of 30 customer approval rating (2!!!!!) and 12 complaints filed against the store at the Better Business Bureau. She responded with this gem (and a smirk) "If you don't pay your dues with the BBB, it doesn't matter what they say." Such concern for customer satisfaction! Not to mention, wholly inaccurate. Perhaps she should look at this: http://www.bbb.org/denver/business-reviews/bridal-shops/bridal-world-in-lakewood-co-57000562 Apparently "not paying your dues" does not clear your F record from public searches. She then kicked me out of her store because the other customers were starting to listen to me - I went to the security office, filed a complaint there and with the store's short-term lease holder (which I would suggest future victims of this hellhole do as well) and returned with security, at which point, of course, they processed my refund. I still have no shoes for my appointment, tomorrow. Bridal World - I hope you like this writeup, because you'll also find it on Yelp, Wedding Wire, the Knot, Yellow Pages, and anywhere else I can possibly find to post it.
