Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Yes. Lighting conditions during a wedding and reception can range from bright daylight to dim hall lighting and we are masters of the flash and are able to create light where there is none.
Is your media preference film or digital?
Chris Diset and all assistants shoot with pro level Canon digital equipment.
How many photographers do you work with?
Chris Diset always arrives with at least 1 other photographer.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Chris Diset never double books so he will always be at your wedding.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Nope! Only 1 event per day, and usually only 1 event per weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
In the unlikely event Chris Diset cannot make it to your wedding, you are guaranteed a fully qualified and equally talented wedding photographer will be there.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Cameras, lenses, flashes, light modifiers, batteries, memory, file storage, etc.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes. 2 cameras, 7 lenses, 3 flashes, etc.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Hourly and full day packages are available. Packages are designed for you!
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
We are not clock watchers. We dont leave until we have captured all of the images needed to tell your story.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
The perfect time for your photographer to take a break is when you are eating. After all, do you really want pictures of you while you are eating? :)
Do you charge for travel?
Weddings in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and Inland Empire will not incur travel charges.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs will be online within 3-5 days.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Proofs will be submitted on a password protected online gallery, and proof books are also available.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Currently, proofs remain online for up to 9 months.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
With your disk of Hi Res images, you will find a copyright release authorizing your photo lab to reproduce images for you.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
With your permission, I like to sometimes use images to update my website, blog about the amazing time, or distribute promotional material about my wedding services that may contain images from your wedding.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes! Its your wedding and I want you to enjoy all of your images.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, a password protected gallery is provided where you can share, view, and order prints.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Custom designed, flush mount albums in a variety of sizes, colors, and treatments are available.
When will the client get the final album?
After images selection, album design can take up to 8 weeks, and production can take an additional 8 weeks, but its usually much sooner.
