Chrissy and Dana were great. Their guidance during the planning stages was very helpful which saved us time and money. The biggest advantage of using Classic Events is they make sure everything goes as planned on your wedding day, eliminating a lot of stress on the bride and her family, which is priceless.

Christina is friendly and truly engaged in every detail I want to explore in planning my wedding. She takes any idea I have for colors and/or themes, makes them sparkle, works out how to make the ideas go together and makes it all look so seamless! She takes the time to look through magazines, brings in pictures to help me visualize how things will look, and she never comes to me with anything overdone or cliched. Everything she puts together is unique and reflects what I envision for my special day. It is a great experience to work with her. I have recommended, and will continue to recommend her to all of my friends and family when they start snooping around for wedding ideas!

To whom it may concern:

I was married on July 30, 2005 and Christina Zimmerman was appointed to be my decoration specialist. She, at that time and still today, was a very close family friend and had a great eye for decorating as she was attending school for interior design at the time. Christina was very helpful to me throughout the entire process. When we initially got together start the planning, we talked about ideas and put together a sketch of what I was envisioning. It takes a very organized and passionate individual to help the bride plan the day she has been dreaming about since being a little girl. Christina was very good about planning a timeline with me so that we could stay on track and stage out the process. She was able to take my vision, add in some great ideas of her own (that made my life easier!) and RUN with it. I was able to focus on all the other tasks of planning a wedding and felt comfortable that she would do a fantastic job. She took care of putting together a team that would be in charge of helping set up and take down. She was very inclusive and wanted to make sure any of my immediate family and close friends were involved if they chose, but yet had a few helpers of her own to rely on, as my party had many other commitments to handle. It takes a special kind of person to juggle all of this, execute it flawlessly, and still make sure the bride gets the vision she wanted. Christina is a great communicator and very organized. She came very prepared and was able to transform the bingo hall/ lodge into a very sophisticated beautiful wedding reception.

In July of 2008, I was the Matron of Honor for one of my best friends. Christina also coordinated the decorations for this event. The planning came very early and I was able to be very involved and help where I could. Christina was very flexible for the bride, as she was enduring a lot of stress in re-planning time and location due to the flood of 2008. The original reception location was to be outside on the groom’s grandfather’s land. It was a beautiful location with a quaint pond nearby and would have been perfect. Unfortunately, due to flooding, the land was not an option anymore and the location became an indoor reception hall. Christina, in trying to tie in the bride’s initial vision, was able to transform the hall into a creative rendition of the bride’s original plan. Every detail, down to the paper lanterns staggered from the ceiling to the glittery branches adorned with ribbons as centerpieces, created the perfect setting and mood. Christina’s ability to “roll with the punches” and “play the cards we were dealt” displayed such flexibility. I was also able to work very closely with her in the set up and take down for this reception. There was a team of people that the bride compiled to help with this task. Some of these people, Christina was meeting for the first time the morning of set up. She was very thoughtful, yet efficient, in working with them. She had planned specific tasks that a couple of people could work on together to complete. She would consistently check in with them to see if they had questions and how things were going. I felt that we made use of our time wisely and that all the tasks got completed in a timely manner as the set up was the morning of the actually wedding. I was able to get out of there and to my hair appointment on time!

In closing, I have had TWO great experiences working with Christina. I would definitely recommend her to anyone planning a reception, or any other milestone event, in the future. My wedding and my best friend’s wedding would not have gone as smoothly as they did without her!
