We had such a terrible experience with this as our hotel for our wedding guests. Our block filled up 2 months before we planned to close it and no one from the hotel called us. My own mother could not get a room. We tried to circumvent this issue a month earlier and said, please call us when we have less than 5 rooms in our block so that we can expand our block to accommodate all of our out of town guests - no one called. They overbooked the hotel and we were forced to have guests be turned away and stay at other locations. I was very disappointed at the lack of communication and consistency in service that my guests said they experienced when they called. My husband and I were assured our bridal party would have rooms and we even provided their names to the hotel and when they called to confirm their reservations they were being turned away. It often took multiple phone calls and reaching out to the manager personally to get things accomplished - which it should not be like. I felt like we had to jump through hoops. Additionally, my husband and I hosted a breakfast the next day after our wedding for close family and the bridal party - NOT EVERYONE IN OUR WEDDING BLOCK - and somehow when our guests were checking in the front desk told everyone they were invited to our day after brunch - completely not our intent - so we were low on seating and food and had a much higher bill than expected. Be weary of using this hotel - the lack of communication truly adds a lot of unnecessary stress. While the manager is great and she did everything she could to limit our stress -she is only one persona and she is not there 24/7 and cannot prevent a lot of the issues we had which were due to poor front desk management.

My husband & I got married on NYE and wanted to host an after-party following our reception. We contacted the Courtyard by Marriott thinking this would be not only difficult since we would only arrive at 1.30am, but also pricey. Were we ever wrong! We immediately had a number of rooms blocked for our guests at an extremely affordable price. Then, we were given a private room with access to an outdoor seating area (if we wanted to head outside) so that we could relax and enjoy the rest of the night (morning) with our guests.

Christine was amazing! She was excited to meet us and help us (it was as if she was part of our wedding) in any way she could. We initially blocked 15 rooms but ended up needing over 20. When they were overbooked, they worked with a neighboring hotel to guarantee a reasonable rate for our guests. I even had someone want to book a room 2 days before the wedding and they made it happen! It isn't every day that you come by professionals who go out of their way to accommodate you and make you feel special. Christine did this and we are very grateful to have had the pleasure of working with her.

As for the rooms themselves, they were exactly what we needed: a clean and well kept room to lay our heads for a few hours after a long night.

Alison was amazing to work with. She was great and straight to the point. We basically booked everything threw e-mail.

The only complant I do have is that I had to pay $200.00 to keep the bar open until 2 a.m. which was a tad bit ridiculous since Bamboozle was going on and their were tons of people in the bar. My family couldn't even get to sit down. I was also told that before I arrived the hotel was evacuated because some idiot pulled the fire alarm.

They were still nice after having to ask one of my guest's friend's to leave bc he was just being out of hand. They provided us with 2 limos on the way there and back and a huge bus for the rest of our guest. But we had a lot of problems with this hotel In the begining. They could not get the contract correct, we had many rooms and when my new husband and i came back from out wedding party, a staff member yelled at my husband for no apparent reason, this wasn't great considering his groomen and there familys had 15 rooms. Then they claimed a room was fighting and that room no one was in and they weren't even a part of our group. The bar is over priced (this is not NY City). If you use this hotel I would constantly check up on them. I will say it was a great price for the rooms, but out of everything they were the biggest stresser out of all the vendors we dealt with. I would say maybe use the one next to it for more money, you may get your money's worth with out any problems.
