I would not recommend that people have their receptions here unless you are available 24/7 to over see everything. The price was good not any less then others, but the location was great. Felix set us up with the house DJ talking about how great he was and all the wedding receptions that he has done and how everyone just thought that he is great! Well our wedding night he was over an hour late for the reception There was no Management there to talk to about getting a hold of TOM so another employee went to see if she could find him! so my husbands uncle announced us, but we had previously made arrangements with the DJ to play a song and introduce the whole wedding party that did not happen!! everyone ate with no music for the most part. When he finally got there he was MIA off and on throughout the night so I THE BRIDE announced my own cake cutting!!! He was MIA for that one too! When it came time for the first dance he did not have the song that we wanted (we had previously talked about this as well) so we dances to a song picked from a list of about 4 slow songs!!! He did not have the Mother Son song so they did not dance!! OH ya and the wedding party song that we picked out ,,, you can bet that he did not have that !!! The only song that he did have was the Father Daughter dance I was shocked about that (we did a evolution dance mix) He had no selection of songs and played a lot of the same songs over!!! He works for a radio station so he told me that he had EVERYTHING. He never brought lights or anything for the dance floor all he brought was a laptop, I could have done that and saved money!!! Other then the disaster DJ, they put us in the arena a HUGE HUGE room and I had asked Felix to put the room in half because there were only 110 guests and the room could hold about 1200 people he said OK well that did not happen so when people went to go eat they had to walk so far it was crazy, the punch bowl was also about 500 feet from the dance floor! It was so spread out that no one got to talk/get to know each other at all. the cake table had no lighting or decorations I did not even know where it was until we did the cake cutting! I also tole Felix that we wanted no smoking when we showed up there were ashtrays on all of the tables so I have my groomsmen go take them all, after we ate, the bartenders were giving the ashtrays out telling people they could smoke in there! Felix also told me about all of the decorating Ideas that he had (Mardi Gras theme reception) so I was all excited about that when we got there there was hardly any decorations at all only centerpieces on the tables, the linens were not the right colors. Then at the end of it all we could not find anyone to pay! they would not accept C.C so they wanted us to walk to the casino and cash a check and give them cash!! that girl was only a server I do not think so!!! Needless to say we ended the reception early and went to the lounge in the casino and there had a great time (live band) Read less
