About Danielle Kattan CakesFollowing her career as a Fashion designer, Danielle Kattan completed her AA Degree with top honors in culinary Arts in 2006. After graduating, she worked as an apprentice with Chef Donald McMillan CEC, AAC (The Stocked Pot), where she rapidly grew to become the company's pastry and cake chef. She also competed in Carr's Kellogg's "Make it Special" Recipe Contest, where she won first place in the dessert category.
After two years, Danielle relocated to Thailand with her family, where she continued to expand and perfect her skills as a cake designer and chef. As part of her experience in Thailand, she successfully completed the Thai Cuisine program at Le Cordon Bleu School, where she learned the unique art of fruit carving.
Danielle recently returned to Winston Salem, NC, where she is continuing her business by offering hand-sculpted, exquisitely tailored works of art. Danielle Kattan Cakes display her love for cultural differences, all of which have influenced her design and cuisine repertoire.
