I told my consultant under $500 she said ok. She was working with me and another girl, the other girl obviously had a much higher budget. I was there for an hour and a half, I was given 4 dresses to try on she tried on 12-15. Not recommended. Terrible experience, terrible customer service. I purchased as amazing Maggie Sottero dress for less than $500, don't settle for David's Bridal.

David's bridal was very patient with my perusing also when I found the dress in a magazine they went leaps and bounds to locate and hold the dress in my size at a location that was convenient for me they didn't care that I'd just come from the gym the staff was really friendly and also allowed me to hold the dress until I could find one other option to try in another bridal store they were sweet and helpful I've also been so thankful for there alterations dept. I had to purchase a dress two sizes to big because of my enhanced breasts they have been amazing at assuring me its going to fit like a glove.

David's Bridal did an outstanding job selling me my dress... Barb was my consultant and she was nothing short of a dream come true. She never made me feel rushed and never made me feel pressured into deciding anything. She was very attentive and intuitive. She helped me customize my dress to meet exactly what I was searching for. I HIGHLY recommend her.

I didn't give David's Bridal Frisco perfect scores because I had a bit of trouble with my alterations. My dress was Vera Wang and the fabric covering the zipper kept sticking out, they said they could fix it with snaps, but it was awful.. it bunched and you could see the snaps' stitching sewn in! The manager was called in and she did her best to make me happy. They ended up re-sewing the snaps on lower layers and using double sided tape on the top layers. It was quite an ordeal though!

My only other area of being unsatisfied was their steaming services. They don't have anything for you to carry out your veil in, so they steam it and stick it in a bag folded, which just results in wrinkles. Had to buy a steamer and do it myself a home.. PAIN when you just spent $500 in alterations!!

Their alternations department was fabulous. They made my day at the final fitting and were really responsive to my needs.

Overall I got the quality of dress I paid for. The alterations department bustled my gown for me. They put ugly satin buttons on my dress that had chiffon with lace and beading. They wanted to make sure that it did not rip, but it was UGLY. They promptly fixed it with hook and eyes while I waited which was much appreciated.

I strongly recommend any bride to check this store out. They are very friendly and helpful. I went to my appointment not knowing at all what I was looking for and I found my perfect dress after trying on only 4 dresses. The sales lady tuned into me completely and I also bought my shoes, slip and veil on that visit AND ALSO my bridesmaid dresses! Very affordable on all the above! STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

I have just returned home from helping my sister-in-law purchase her wedding dress, an event that is traditionally full of dreams and whimsy. However, I am literally shaking with rage at the way she was neglected and mishandled by your company's sales force at the David's Bridal in Frisco, Texas (Store number 0045 at 121 and Preston Road).

Alicia made an appointment for 4/22/12 at 2 p.m. to try on wedding dresses. She, the bridesmaids and the mothers all arrived on time for the appointment full of excitement and joy at this special time. We were told that our sales person Barbara was "just finishing up with a previous appointment" and would we mind waiting five minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting aimlessly, I went in search of the one gown that my sister-in-law had deemed as the one she wanted. I found it and found her size. I escorted her back to her dressing room that was labeled with her name and wedding date. I found a passing sales associate who was more than happy to find the appropriate under garment to try on with the dress (I wish I had caught her name as she was the only person in this shop who was helpful in any way).

Only after we had Alicia in her dress did Barbara "swing by" to see how we were doing. Because the dress of Alicia's desire was not the correct size, Barbara asked a few questions to see if there was another dress she could find that might fit a little better. After trying on this dress, Alicia knew that her first choice was what she wanted for her special day.

Barbara was on her second "circle by" (Barbara kept using the terms "swing by" and "circle through" throughout our entire appointment, never making Alicia a priority or focusing on her appointment time) when we told her that BR1016 was the dress we wanted to order. Barbara scurried off to place the order and "circled by" four more times giving us the excuses of overrides and not having enough time to order the dress before the Oct. 27, 2012 (six months) wedding date. Finally, Barbara came to me and my mother-in-law to tell us the bad news of the wedding dress being discontinued in size 16W. She told us the "good news" was that the dress Alicia tried on could be let out that small amount and that it would only cost $50. For that deal we all agreed it could be altered to perfection. Barbara even said, "Don't use our [David's Bridal] alterations because they are a rip off."

My mother and sister-in-law went to check out with her dream dress in hand. They waited in line for 20 minutes only to find out that the dress was not going to be $50, as Barbara had said, but rather $193.77. I was standing off to the side and did not hear this or it would never have gotten this far to me writing a letter in complete and utter disgust at such a blatant bait and switch con perpetrated by your sales force. We were standing outside on the sidewalk and Alicia seemed distraught and my mother-in-law was explaining that the 16W that we wanted to order was discontinued but because the sample dress that we purchased was a 16 (not 16W) that it was full price.

I returned into the store with the dress and the receipt and told the manager Soraya and Barbara that this was a shady practice and that they were going to honor the promised price of $50. They told me that because my mother-in-law and sister-in-law had gone ahead and purchased the dress that they would not refund the difference. I was so angry at this that I called Barbara a liar and I raised my voice. For that I am sorry for embarrassing my family. However, Alicia and Kathy are extremely shy women who would never make waves in a situation like this even if they felt that they were mistreated and conned. I however, am not that kind of woman. I do not stand for mistreatment of anyone!

I have written to request that the corporate office of David's Bridal please refund the difference of the price my mother-in-law paid from what she should have been charged with tax on $50. It's been three days of a lot of back and forth and no results except that they CRM at David's Bridal corporate has offered a $50 discount (NOPE!) and the store's management has left pitiful voice mails begging Alicia to call off my social media campaign telling this story to the world. I will post a positive review when the store does the right thing and corrects their bait and switch con tactics.

Sincerely,
Jaimee Hunter

I absolutely LOVED my dress! And they were great to work with. The only hesitation I have is how it was altered-it didn't lay completely straight. I will give them that it was an asymmetrical dress which made it difficult, but still, I paid them good money to alter it.

Overall, I was very happy with their service though!
