We originally did not want a videographer at our wedding. We thought it was an expense that was unnecessary, but a friend kept saying how fantastic her videographer was. After seeing her video I agreed to meet with the owner, Lauren McGinty. Lauren impressed me right away with her professionalism and knowledge of videography. Her portfolio was impressive (she also does a lot of corporate work and one of her references that I called was a national law firm who was very happy with her), her equipment was state of the art (much more so than our photographer), and she was so fun to work with. She even agreed to do our wedding herself (although I met one of her videographers who I think I would have been just as happy with). On the day of the event she showed up early, was dressed nicely, and needed pretty much no direction at all. I was actually thrilled that she broke some rules at the church (she wasn't supposed to step into the aisle) to get some fantastic video of me walking down the aisle with my dad. She was everywhere she needed to be without me asking - getting great angles during the ceremony, all over the reception hall getting everything from people chatting to the dancing, and getting the toasts and cake cutting. It took her a few weeks to do the editing (I think it was about 3, although the contract said it would be up to 6). When I got the finished product I was SO happy. We were given 2 video tapes in nice boxes with stills of us on the front, and 2 DVD's with us on the labels (she threw in an extra of each for free without us asking). The editing was even better than I expected. I already said that the angles and shots were fantastic, but I'll say it again. She added stills in as segmentation to the next parts, like stills from inside the church to segment from the end of the ceremony to the part where we walk outside the church and everyone blows bubbles. She also added music to certain parts (including our wedding song to a fantastic montage that she did at the end), and some really nice subtitles. I HIGHLY recommend this company!!!
