Great experience. The owner helped me try on and purchase my gown. She took over the regular sales lady, which was great because the sales lady wasn't very informative. Once the owner stepped in it was awesome! I went on a Monday afternoon and had the whole place to myself. Very lovely.

First, I will say that I was happy to find my gorgeous dress that I had imagined in my head within the price range I wanted. However, I almost did not buy from there initially. I had worked with one of the employees first when I came in for my appointment. When she asked me how much my budget was and I told her, she gave me attitude that it was too little and that it would be hard to find a dress in that budget range. I almost walked out of the store right then and there knowing that other bridal stores were fine with the price range, but the owner stepped in. I was looking for a one shouldered strap dress which are less common and she suggested one of the brands they carry that can add a customized strap that matches the dress for an additional fee. The dress was gorgeous and I loved it.

We also rented the tuxes from here too. The owner did a good job picking out the tuxes, vests and ties to match the bridesmaid dresses. Unfortunately, my husbands tux had a run in it and was slightly obvious from the naked eye. One of my other groomsman had to pick up his tux almost last minute and discovered there was blood or something similar to the color on the shirt. They did not give us a refund but at least they didn't charge us for the damage.

First, I will say that I was happy to find my gorgeous dress that I had imagined in my head within the price range I wanted. However, I almost did not buy from there initially. Good selection and good customer service. Prices comparable to most other bridal shops. Order came in approximately two weeks after they stated it would, but still in plenty of time. They get very busy (especially on weekends) and it can be hard at times to get service.

Dena Marie had some wonderful dress choices, and beautiful things to look at. They have headpieces and jewelry and shoes, but a lot of those accessories were overpriced. My dress was supposed to arrive at the end of March and it was over 1 month late. This delay did not affect my alterations or actual wedding, but it was different than expected.

Sue, the women who did alterations, was INCREDIBLE. She was able to alter my dress in ways I never thought possible to make it the perfect dress for me.

Dena Marie had some wonderful dress choices, and beautiful things to look at. They have headpieces and jewelry and shoes, but a lot of those accessories were overpriced. My initial experience of trying on dresses was wonderful! The ladies were all so helpful and I felt very comfortable there to try on whatever I wanted! I truly felt pampered! The sales people were very honest with me and helped me find what I was looking for to suit my style! Everyone at the wedding RAVED about the dress! Working with the seamstress to add bra cups and a bustle was VERY affordable and so easy! The only snafu that we ran into was that my dress was not in the shop when my mother went to pick it up the day before my wedding (eek!). My mother was very nervous, but they quickly resolved the matter. All in all, a great experience!

We got both our bridesmaid dresses and tuxes through Dena Marie (Tip Top Tux). The bridesmaid dress experience wasn’t that bad, although the dresses did some in late and customer service was sometimes poor. The tuxes were the real screw up, we had several different people assisting us in the few times we went in to look at tuxes, and the notes for our order were all being scribbled down on a messy paper that I couldn’t read. Three days before our wedding we found out the tuxes came in in the WRONG style! We were deciding between two styles and months prior to the wedding decided on the more elegant style (which we were told was $10 more than the other style). Unfortunately by the time we found out the tuxes were wrong, the ushers who live in St. Cloud had already picked up their tuxes and their ties (that also came in in the wrong color). We had to go to Dena Marie three times in the three days before our wedding and argue with them about what we ordered and the cost of the tuxes, MONTHS AFTER we made an agreement with them! I wish we had some paperwork or that their paperwork was legible because there was absolutely no documentation of what we ordered. TIP – Get a receipt from the tux place when you make the order that states the tux style number that you ordered and the final price!! After my husband and I spending hours and hours in the days prior to our wedding driving to Dena Marie and trying to straighten everything out, the tuxes finally came in (on Friday) and my dad’s tux came in without shoes! They said if we rushed there Saturday morning, hours before our wedding, they would have the shoes. Dad just wore shoes he already owned. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else!

Great selection and great staff. I tried on about 6-8 other dresses before I found my dress. The women were very honest and were very helpful with picking out the right dresses. The also helped me custom order my veil and it turned out just like I wanted.

I would never EVER recommend anyone buy a dress from Dena Marie. 

The actual shopping part was fine. They let us all pick out dresses hanging on the rack, showed us where we would find dresses at my price point, and didn't insist on helping me into the dresses. I ended up choosing a dress labeled as a bridesmaid dress for my bridal gown, and ordered it with no problem. This was in March, and I was told that I would receive it mid-July. My bridesmaid also ordered a dress that day, and chose a navy-blue color from the swatches we were shown. 

At the beginning of June my bridesmaid received her dress, and it WAS NOT the navy blue color we had been shown. I pointed out the error to the woman at the front desk, and she said "no, that's what you ordered--you don't want to order chiffon in navy blue, it would look black!" I do not like being told we are responsible for what we ordered being wrong, when it wasn't made clear that the colors would be so different. They did not offer to send it back, and they did not offer any sort of compensation for getting it wrong because they made it clear they deemed it our fault. 

The end of July rolled around and still no word from Dena Marie. We called them on July 30th to find out where the dress was, and were told it was on it's way and would be in the store in two weeks. My mom took it upon herself to check in on the store nearly every day to keep finding out where it was--the wedding was on September 14th. They repeatedly told her it was in Canada, then it was in the UK (where the factory was), then it was in Pennsylvania, then it was in Canada again, then they would get us a tracking number if it didn't arrive by the next day (It didn't. They didn't.) Finally it arrived August 27th.

This store lied, made us out to be the mistake makers, and caused me huge amounts of stress while wedding planning. They had terrible customer service once the dress was ordered, and did little to compensate for that. They were terrible.

Here’s our wedding dress horror story and why I’m only giving them 1 star. The wedding I stood up in was June 15th. Keep that in mind. One of the other bridesmaids was late paying for her dress and she had to pay extra for shipping which is entirely her fault but whatever. Not a big deal. Dena Marie told us we’d still get the dresses in early May which was fine. Like I said, not the store’s fault. So, our dresses came in in early May. The bride went to pick them up and her jaw dropped. They were supposed to be solid pale blue in color (I think desert sand was the official color title) and instead they were white with a large blue floral print on them. Dena Marie’s said they would super rush ship the dresses and that we’d have them by the end of May. Ok, we’re thinking that’s alright. No problem. Well, what they really meant was they were going to order the material and have their seamstress sew them. Ok, fine. They said they’d be done by the end of May. Plenty of time. Meanwhile I call and make sure they have my right measurements so they make the dress according to measurements and not dress size to limit alterations needed. So I have to go to Minneapolis (I live in central WI) for the 1st weekend in June to visit a sick grandpa. I play phone tag all week leading up to the weekend to let them know I’ll be in town so can I come try on my dress. The owner informs me that her seamstress has a funeral and she’s not sure how far along the dresses are but she’ll call the seamstress and find out. All week she can’t get ahold of her seamstress. I call that Saturday (June 1st) in the morning and ask about the dresses and if I’ll be able to come in and try it on or pick it up as we were told they would be done by end of May. She tells me that she’ll call her seamstress and then call me back. At 4pm she hasn’t called me back yet so I call her. The store is closed, no one answers. I call on Sunday and she tells me her seamstress had a funeral and she got ahold of the seamstre
