INFO FOR DJ
What music genres are in your collection?
50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, Acoustic, Big Band, Classic Rock, Country, Dance, Folk, Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Motown, Oldies, Pop, R&B, Rock, Soul, Swing
Do you have liability insurance?
Describe your DJ style:
Professional and laid-back.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
No. The more options you give me, the better I can tailor the event to your tastes.
What is your usual attire?
Tuxedo shirt, vest, and pants.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
My fee includes 50 songs not in my library.
How many other DJs do you work with?
Sometimes, if available, I bring along an assistant.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Definitely. The do-not-play list is crucial.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. Standard equipment includes a mixer, two CD players, an iPod, an amplifier, two large speakers, speaker stands, and a wireless microphone.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
If requested, I can provide additional microphones and stands and a karaoke machine.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
It generally takes me about 20 minutes to set up. I like to arrive at a venue at least an hour before your guests in order to conduct a thorough sound check. Most sites provide a table, but I can bring my own if necessary.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No, but it's important for me to set-up near an electrical outlet.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
No. Your wedding is about you, not me.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
I book myself for only one event per weekend.
What is your overtime rate?
Scheduled overtime is $50 per hour; unscheduled overtime is $100 per hour.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
I request a $100 deposit to secure the date.

I was so impressed with Amy as my DJ, and really could not have been happier. She was extremely professional throughout - met with my husband and I before to plan out what we wanted, was always available through email to pick our music, and the night of the wedding went off perfectly. She let me provide an exact list of what songs I wanted to hear throughout the night, and she took care of the rest. Very friendly, affordable, professional style and equipment. Loved her!! Read less

Amy did a FABULOUS job with our music. We were really picky with what we wanted played and she was more than accommodating on that issue. She was extremely professional and did a fantastic job making announcements as the evening progressed. I cannot recommend her enough. She is very affordable and super flexible. As they say in Boston, wicked awesome! We received several compliments about her services. Honestly, I didn't think we needed a DJ, but I now can't imagine our wedding would have been a success at all without her. Read less
