When I first contacted the Eagle's Nest, I was working with this nice older lady named Lynn. She was great! She gave us recommendations to help us with other aspects of our wedding and she wanted to make our day amazing. When I would email her, she would get right back to me. Then, I am not fully sure what happened. I don't know if she quit or what. But, about 4 months before the wedding, I was told that she wasn't around any more and that Chris and Wanda would be handling our day. I was okay with that. I met Chris a few times, she was the cook and she was very energetic and polite. Things started out well when working with her. At one point though, she seemed to be getting snippy and the one little change we asked about she wouldn't do for us. We asked her to keep the table clothes on the remaining tables during the dance. This is a small request and we asked it because the tables look trashy if the clothes aren't on them. Chris did not like this idea, she said she would check for us, but she thinks it is against the law to do that because people who did not eat on that table may be sitting there. We checked into it and it is not a law. It ended up that my step father, the night of the wedding, went around to each table and sat there while the waiters were clearing off the tables. He made sure that each table left standing had a cloth on it.

The view of the Bay at the Eagle's Nest is amazing! Overall the Eagle's Nest was good. I am definitely glad we chose it. The prices were really low and fit our budget well. I did hear some people complain about too much salt on the chicken. Not many people complained, but that might just be their taste. I had the chicken and liked it very much. When the complaint was brought to the attention of the cook, she said that they were using a new broaster and it could have something to do with that, but she apologized. I would definitely recommend it to others. I would just give a heads up, to be persistent on what you want done extra. We brought our request to Chris very close to the wedding date (1 week or so before), so that may have had an impact on why she refused.
