Our order was very easy. We had written out word for word what we wanted said. They had spelled the name of the location wrong which was very apparent. We had to get them reprinted and they offered to print them free but never bothered to reimburse us for the invitations they ruined. I was not happy but eventually it was made right. Which I guess is all that matters.

I was worried our complicated order would cause confusion, run up a huge bill, and come out wrong. The order was completed perfectly and looked beautiful. It was very affordable, and the people who work there are great. Using FedEx Kinko's was much simpler than I thought it would be. If you have the time and creativity to design your own invitations, I recommend having them printed and cut at FedEx Kinko's. It's easier and more cost effective than buying supplies and printing them at home. Their assortment of paper is nice, too, and we bought a ream there to use for our ceremony programs, table numbers, and place cards.

We made our own POP-UP wedding invitations! Yes, pop-ups! You opened the invite and a picture of my husband & I popped up, in front of a picture of our wedding location. We got sooooo many compliments on them! One of our friends even took it to her elementary school students to show everyone (of course they thought it was awesome).
We were worried that they would turn out to be not as cool as we thought they were, or not very professional looking, but according to our recipients', neither was the case. I did the design as a powerpoint slide (complete with shaded backgrounds and textured gold borders) and exported it to .pdf. The pictures of my husband and I were edited in MSPaint, of all things, to remove the background, and we had them printed on transparencies. We just stored the files to my zip drive and took it to Kinko's, and they had it done in under an hour. It looked MUCH better than the samples we'd printed on my inkjet (even with best Picture settings) and they were much faster and probably cheaper ink-wise (I have no idea how many cartridges I'd go through on 400 color copies).
In the end, we paid about as much as cheap invitation on-line options, but we got our custom Pop-up invitations, RSVP postcards, site directions and Save-the-date letters.
