Does a client need to schedule an appointment? How do the client appointments work?
gagavida is currently in a private studio, which does require appointments for those that are local. However, the majority of our clients are not local to the area that we are in: across the country, and across the world as well. The best way to contact gagavida currently is via email. For those that are not local, we can work using various methods - including phone appointments - to stay in touch! And, because pieces are mostly custom designed and created, email and phone can be easily used to work through the process of customization. Traveling to a client's location is an possibility as well, and can be arranged per client request for a fee.
What specialty dress and attire items, such as a Kimono or Sari, do you provide?
All handmade, and custom pieces that include: bridesmaid dress designs, bridesmaid hair accessories or jewelry, a wide range of possible bridesmaid gifts, bridal veils including "Russian" or "Birdcage" style veils and blusher veils, what we call "Classic" style veils made with bridal illusion/tulle in every length from cathedral to blusher, bridal fascinators or hair pieces, bridal jewelry & other accessories. Many customized veil options are available as well: vintage veiling materials, wide range of colors, pearls, rhinestones, Swarovski crystals, and more. We are known for using vintage or antique items in our pieces, as well as the use of special personal items that may be provided by the bride (items that belonged to a family member, etc.)
What is the typical turn-around time for a dress?
Because of the custom nature of so many of our pieces, more often than not, we try to work with the unique needs of each bride when establishing the necessary turnaround time. Flexibility is something that we try to offer always: whether the bride has a few weeks, or year until the wedding day.
Do you provide any guarantees/warrantees of any kind?
Typically, prior to items being shipped out to clients - photos are taken and then sent to clients for approval. A great deal of care is taken to ensure quality items, and careful shipping - and, we also offer free online tracking for all shipments. In the event of an issue concerning one of our products, we go out of our way to resolve any concerns as best we can.
