I cannot express how wonderful it was to work with this company! They have the greatest selection of EVERYTHING. My husband and I rented a Sperry Tent, lighting, linens, china and glassware from this company and both of us, including ALL of our guests were very impressed with the quality and selection of everything we rented.
From the time our initial quote was processed, up until the day of, Hank Parker's helped us answer any questions we had and were extremely accommodating start to finish. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants the highest quality products and the greatest customer service a bride to be could ask for.

I can honestly say that renting from this company was the only negative aspect of our wedding planning experience. We live about 6 hours away from Buffalo, so we chose Hank Parker's because of their selection and a deceivingly good first impression. When we initially contacted them expressing interest in renting a costly amount of items they were helpful and quick to respond. After receiving our deposit, they became difficult to work with. If we emailed with any questions regarding our order or just to add items, we were shuffled to someone new (started off with Stacey, then got awful Kristen, then Mike) all of whom promised to take care of the extra items, but never followed through. My husband and I are both easy going and it's not in our nature to hassle anyone but unfortunately we were forced to repeatedly call and hound them just to get anything accomplished.

We could see how they might have a lot of other order during a busy party season, but were surprised when they even made the payment process difficult (which you think a company would be on top of, since who doesn't want to be paid prior to an event?) We sent them a credit card authorization, allowing them to extract the amount of our balance from our account and they didnt bother to let us know if they received or processed it. Only after again hassling them for an answer, did they acknowledge that they processed our card.

The best part: when we were driving home from the wedding, we received a call from another vendor. They told us that the check we wrote them bounced. After some investigating, it turns out that Hank Parker's ran our credit card and charged us twice, on two different days for the same amount, leaving us with a few thousand dollars less than we anticipated. Hoping to correct it, we called them and instead of refunding anything, they processed our card for a THIRD time. They were slow to actually fix the overcharges and very rude. It made the week after our wedding so stressful.

Hank Parker has a huge variety of rental pieces for prices that cannot be beat in the Central New York area. Their showroom in Fairport is large, but when I visited the staff seemed somewhat uninterested in helping me fulfill a vision. That experience, however, is the only complaint I have. Their billing, delivery, and pickup were prompt and professional. There were some missing pieces upon rental return (which my venue handled) and I'm not sure that some of those were not oversights in delivery, but the replacement fees are reasonable.

We had a horrible experience with this company! We used them for our rentals (tables, chairs, place settings, glasses etc.). When I first contacted them to request a quote they didn't bother to respond to me for 2 weeks. I had given up on them by that point but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. BIG mistake. We finally were able to make an appointment to meet with someone for a cost estimate. This was probably the only positive part of our experience with them. We didn't have too many issues with them again until we needed the layout for the room done. They did a terrible job with this and sent us a layout that did not take into account large structures that were in the room. We mentioned this and they did another layout. It was better but it still was not correct. My husband and I had to go to the venue ourselves and measure everything before creating out own layout. The week of the wedding the rental company decided to play dumb and say that they did not tell us that setting of plates and silverware were part of the rentals so they strong armed me into paying them another $300 on top of my already large bill so that someone could come set the silverware. I never would have done so but the wedding was in 3 days and I had no choice. To my knowledge set up went pretty well and they arrived on time. The biggest issue didn't come until 2 MONTHS after our wedding when we received a BILL for upwards of $400. When I called and called no one was ever available to speak with me on the matter and I was repeatedly told that some one would call me back. No one ever did. When I finally e-mailed someone there she gave me the number of the owner who had the nerve to give me a hard time because it was so far after the wedding. Long story short this still isn't resolved and we KNOW nothing was broken or lost. They don't bother to check items and will not give you anything confirming that you have returned everything in good condition upon pick up. Staff is very rude!

I first contacted the vendor when I was pricing out chair rentals. I spoke with Lauren, and received an email invoice of the chairs I was hoping to rent. This invoice had the correct information with regard to date, location, etc. I called back to see if the price was negotiable, as November is not a prime wedding time, and spoke with Stacey (the owner). Stacey and I were able to negotiate a price that was comfortable. Stacey emailed me an invoice with the price changed to reflect our negotiations, but a different delivery charge. At this point, I questioned the difference in charges, but was I was already signed up to attend the Rochester Bridal Expo shortly after this time and anticipated speaking with this company at the expo. Upon attending the expo, I was able to negotiate the price, again, but was told delivery charges would be explained to me in the terms and conditions and contract that would be emailed to me after I signed a non-refundable deposit slip. (In order to lock in the negotiated price, I HAD to sign at the expo.) I received an emailed invoice after the expo, which included the newly negotiated price and an different (increased) delivery charge (again), but did not receive the terms and conditions explaining the constant changes in delivery charges. After relentlessly having conversations with various employees of this company, being promised call backs to no avail, not receiving any written explanation of the delivery charges, and feeling the lack of professionalism of this company, my fiance and I decided to book a different vendor. To make a very long story short, this company never supplied me with written delivery charges. Instead, my fiance was screamed at on the phone by Stacey (yes, the owner) and she stated that I "needed to get my facts right" and blamed the whole issue on me. I'm not sure how that could be, as all I wanted was the delivery charges explained!!! I'm STILL fighting the credit card company (5 months later) to get my deposit back, as Stacey fictitiously lied about details of the conversations she had with my fiance to the credit card company to keep our deposit.

I cannot caution anyone planning any event more!!!!! If you must use this company, PLEASE get information in writing about the delivery and all associated charges related to your invoice. I was successful in contacting a different vendor in the area that has been amazing and very transparent regarding their charges.

Absolutely awful, unprofessional, and using them was a mistake that cast a pall of what would otherwise been a perfect wedding weekend. Our rep, Lauren, couldn’t have cared less about her job, and what should have taken one night--placing the order--took over a week because she couldn’t get the order right. Worse yet, she rarely returned calls and never followed through on her promises to email the invoice. And then it got worse. When they actually showed up it was as if they never looked at the order anyway... everything was wrong. They completely screwed us. To add insult to injury, when I called the manager, jacob, to tell him about the situation, he actually got belligerent toward me. He had no idea how to even access my order, or at least claimed not to, and got so volatile that I had to handle him. This is the worst kind of company, and with so many event rental businesses in the area there’s no reason to put yourself through the hassle, drama and hostility of hiring them.

I normally do not write reviews, but I had one of the best experiences with the Hank Parker's Rental team. Everyone was great from the customer service people on the phone to the nice delivery men.

I was probably the most indecisive bride to have come to them. Each time I met with them they made me feel at ease with my decisions. They were very good with providing different options for me to select from - they truly have the best selections!

I could go on and on about how wonderful they are, long story short Hank Parker's Rental made my wedding day the best day, it was PERFECT!

I rented my chair covers from them. I had great help on the phone the second time I called because I spoke to a guy the first time and felt like he didnt really know what he was talking about until I called into the Rochester location. She changed my order to the right chair covers and really helped me with my selection. They are flexible with pick up and return times and the chair covers were great. They are a little pricey but if you have a place like Webster that will put on and take off your chair covers then you can save quit a bit. Overall the experience with Hank Parkers was good.

We rented an arch and a runner from them. Arch was gorgeous, loved it! However, they didnt tell us the runner we rented from them was paper! When the ground was wet on the day of the ceremoney we couldnt use it. They were unable to give us a refund as well but it was disposable.. However, we were really pleased with the arch.

They did an ok job. Just be sure to make a confirmation about were to deliver the item. They dropped everything off at my house and I had to take it to the venue the day of my wedding. We rented chairs from this vendor. Our only complaint is that their selection was not what I had anticipated. I had hoped for some more options as far as white chairs go. But they were priced well, were dropped off in plenty of time for us to set them up, and they were easy to work with.
