As is typical in Chinese weddings, the invitations had to be of the bright red color with gold foil ink. When we looked for vendors in Hawaii to do the job, they were quite expensive and didn't have designs that really worked for us (looked too traditional for our taste). So, by the recommendation of a family member, we looked outwards to California. We found this vendor who was able to do our invitations for a reasonable price. It cost $1.15 per invitation (envelope included) + $0.35 per RSVP card (envelope included).

We corresponded with them via email and over the phone to figure out the wording and design. We made changes here and there, which were all accommodated. Nothing special about their service, but no complaints either. It was on time and they did what we asked.

The invitation smells like incense, which some don't like but which I thought gave it a more unique touch than the typical odorless invitation. The gold foil was also very nice when done correctly, but we found a few cards where the foiling was a little botched.

Overall, I thought it was a good bargain. Especially with how expensive invitations come out to, and especially in Hawaii because of shipping, we were happy with the final product and the price.

I'm very proud of my wedding invites. These little red pieces of paper and ink were the first manifestations of my wedding. We went to pick out a design with our moms, and right a away we found the one we wanted: double fold, red exterior, characters written in silk. The rest was just designs and names. You might need to bring a Chinese friend to communicate with these guys, but they are very good at what they do. Invites come in 2 to 3 weeks, and they communicate through email. Don't worry about the contents of the invite, they have a template.

The color combination (gold paper with red shining font) of my invitation is great. Everyone loves our invitation. We designed our own logo on the front, and Wilson helped us to arrange art work for the other side.

Price is very cheap, and they finish it very quick.

BUT they tend to make mistake, so carefully review the draft before you approve!

Big selections of cards and extremely flexible in accommodating design/ logo/ colors, etc. Staff is professional and extremely flexible. Quality of cards are VERY GOOD with EXCELLENT value for budget. Similar cards at Papyrus would easily cost 3-4X.

They had hundreds of designs to choose from. They didn't charge extra for multiple language, or gold embossing, or the labor of putting the invitations together with ribbons or elastics. After I made the minimum order (to cover setup costs), they simply charged me extra only for additional material cost. The store front was of a no-frill kind of place and I liked their no-frill kind of prices. :)

There was a slight delay in the printing due to a family emergency. But they were very professional and assisted me promptly.

Like most Chinatown vendors... they operate with a different attitude than what we normally expect. They were 3 weeks late in delivering our invitations. The "extra" copies they threw in for us were missing a page of translations. Good value but remember you are dealing with a Chinese merchant in Chinatown.
