It's sad to say that my fiancé and I have had such a bad experience with this place. Everything was very nice when my fiancé first purchased my engagement ring thru this Jarred's store, unfortunately the size that he got me was too big so we had to go and get it sized. I dropped my ring off the day after Christmas and when I got there the lady told me it would be done the next day no problem. Well, a few hours later my fiancé gets a call that they cannot size my ring because of the type of ring it is, if they size it, it could ruin the ring so they will have to order me a new one. Fair enough, I was happy they were looking out for our best interest. But then they told us that it would take 12 weeks for the new ring too come in!!!! 12 weeks!!! I was upset, but they told me I can have the ring that I dropped off back until my new ring came in. My fiancé and I go to pick my ring back up, and later that night I noticed that the ring looked different to me. I didn't say anything because I just thought I was being dramatic or something, but then I pulled up a picture of the ring that I had taken before I dropped the ring off at the store and it was DIFFERENT!!!!! The diamond on the top of the ring is much shorter! And you can completely see it in the picture! My fiancé called them to ask them if they changed my ring out because it is different. They swore up and down that they gave me back what I dropped off! It's a lie! They probably gave me a cheaper version of the ring, until my new ring gets in. Super sketchy place! And now the icing on the cake my fiancé called them yesterday to find out the status of my new ring and now they are saying it won't be in until April 13th! So that will now be 16 weeks!!!! Also, we want to get the new ring appraised because we feel extremely sketched out by this place, and they tell us it will be an extra cost! Really???? Wow! This place is so terrible! I just hope that my new ring is the same one that I dropped off the first day.

I can't believe the head ache this place is for me. My fiancé bought a engagement/wedding set along with the lifetime warranty. The lifetime warranty requires me to go in every 6 months to have it inspected. Inspections and cleanings shouldn't be a hassle right? Every time I have taken my ring there diamonds end up missing! The first time it happened I wasn't paying too much attention, just went picked up my ring and drove home. While driving I looked down at the sides of my ring and noticed 6 diamond were missing? I called and they said they had found them in the jewelry cleaner and to bring it back for repair. Fine. Next time same thing, except I inspected it heavily and it was missing 3 diamonds. Had to leave it again for a couple days for it to be repaired. Just had another inspection done, 2 diamonds missing. Except this time it's right before my wedding, I pleaded with them to please check my ring and to not mess it up before I left it, and they still messed up?! With all the last minute stress of a wedding it might just literally send me over the edge. I have to leave my ring again for a couple days and hope it gets fixed in time for my wedding, I don't have time for this! I have to drive 30 mins each way every time something like this happens. I wouldn't go back, but I want to keep the lifetime warranty active in the case that I do damage myself. My Fiancé spent over 20k there, you would think there customer service and attention to detail would be a top priority for them. Do yourself a favor and just steer clear of the place.

A week and a half after purchasing my engagementbring from Jared's, a diamond fell out of my wedding band. Jared's used to be a nice place to shop - now they act and think like a corporation, and it's all about the $$$. They dropped the ball in sending me a bill, the phone calls and bills they supposedly sent in the mail...never came. So instead of building my credit, they have destroyed it....and absolutely refuse to take any responsibility nor admit that there may be any possibility that their $8 hr employees may have made any mistake at all.
This place is horrible - avoid at all cost - contrary to popular belief, they are not the only jewelry store in town!

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST BUSINESS MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE DEALT WITH. Products are overpriced and customer service is terrible. Employees are extremely dishonest and rude. Jared tricked us out of 17K+.
Long story here: On our first visit to the store in March 2014, we put a center diamond on hold. We picked up the diamond after 2 and 1/2 weeks in April. When asked for the return policy, we were told: "30 days of wearing the diamond". We wanted to return the diamond after 2 weeks of wearing, however, the store refused the return, because the reservation period also counts toward the 30 days. In the end, the store agreed to do an equal exchange and told us that they will call us when they get some diamonds of the same size and quality in. However, the store did not follow up with us nor get diamonds in as promised. When we contacted the store, we were told that they have not yet gotten the diamonds in.
We customized a ring setting shortly after purchasing the center diamond. We paid for the custom in April 2014 and had the wax made. Due to the promised diamond exchange, the sales presentative told us to delay on making the custom until we finish the diamond exchange. The store let us use a setting and said we can return the setting when our custom is ready. The store received our payment for the custom, but did not once follow up with us to finish the custom and supplying us the product we paid for. We finally ordered the custom to be made in August 2015. Jared charged us an additional $1,165 due to "price increase of diamond and gold" over the last year. This is a 50% price increase and is very unreasonable since we paid for the custom in full already and were already in the process of making the custom. We were also informed that if we cancel the custom, we would have to pay $700 for the wax that was made. We were unaware of this perviously.

This is a long story but I'll try to keep it short because telling it exhausts me.

My wife and I live in China and we came back to Alabama, where I am from to get married. It was a hectic time leading up to the wedding, as we were planning it from outside of the country. Her grandfather had bought her wedding rings from a store in China, but the sizes were way off, so when we finally arrived in Alabama to make the final preparations for our wedding we found ourselves at Jared. They were the only store we could find that had could resize rings on short notice. With our wedding only a few days a way, this was vital. We left her 100 year old antique engagement ring with them so that they could match the curve of the engagement ring to the curve of the wedding band we just bought. 24 hours later we come back to discover they had completely altered the size and appearance of my wife's antique engagement ring. She was so distraught, my mom had to call me down to the store to calm her down. She continued to cry in the store for over an hour. Of course the employees who screwed up feigned sympathy, but said they could not offer any refunds because it was their corporate policy. We took the rings because we had no choice with just a couple days until the wedding, but following up with their corporate customer service was simply a nightmare. They were rude , uncaring, unsympathetic, and just completely unconcerned with the fact that the forever altered a precious symbol of my love to my wife. We will never walk into another Jared for any reason for the rest of my life and I will actively tell everyone I know who might be looking for jewelry to stay away. Just thinking about what happened and how they treated us gets my blood boiling. They are a terrible company and the worst case of American Corporate greed. I hope anyone who reads this will stay away and go to someone they trust.

Going to Jared seemed like a no-brainer when we found the ring we loved for our engagement. Boy were we wrong. My fiance purchased one of the most expensive settings in the place and we've had nothing but issues. First they tried giving him a center stone that was literally black with spots all over it. Then they ordered a better, clearer stone before he purchased it. A WEEK after being engaged my one and a half center stone FELL OUT. Thankfully somone at my job was able to find it but still, that should NOT happen. Then when we went to get it fixed, the guy did a half ass job and took 5 min to simply bend a prong back. I was NOT happy, it made the prong razor sharp and was still not secure. When I brought it back the next day to complain, they said it should have been taken and fixed over a period of a few days. They had it 6 days!!! This was a WEEK after being engaged, people wanted to see the ring and I wanted to show it off, but was unable. We then found out that the ring was "jeopordized" because they sized down a a larger ring to fit my size 4. They said "well we ordered the ring but it wont be in for 3 months." Unbelievable, they should have ordered the right size to begin with and not lie to my fiance about what he was purchasing. Then a MONTH after being engaged, we brought it to be cleaned and what do you know. MULTIPLE stones loose. We were PISSED. Had to call corporate at this point, this was getting ridiculous. Suddenly the next day my custom ring was in, but wouldnt be ready for another 2 days. Now we have the new ring and were promised there wouldnt be any issues. Somehow I doubt that....
I've only been engaged a month and have been at Jared almost a dozen times already with issues. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My fiance went here to design me a beautiful ring and what they gave him is nothing like they explained to him it would be. BEWARE. yes, the main diamond in my ring is sparkly and everything i could ask for, but the botch job they did after making the band smaller, mounting the diamond, and worst of all selling my man a band with diamonds in it that have LARGE CARBON SPOTS is disgraceful. We went in to ask what thy cud do and they covered nothing. making us feel stupid for the "inclusions" they tried to justify as "normal" and also explain to us there is nothing they could do.
