My Husband surprised me with a proposal and an engagement ring from the Jewelry Exchange. He had a good experience, and I like my engagement ring. When we went back to shop for the wedding rings we had a horrific experience.

The greeter greeted us nicely, but he had to yell at the woman that was available a few times to come and assist us. She decided to finish her conversation with the security guard first. We began to look at women's rings first. I told her that I was allergic to gold, so the ring had to be platinum. She insisted on convincing me to buy a gold ring. She only showed me the least expensive bands, which I told her I didn't like any of those because they didn't flow with my engagement ring (which I wanted to keep). I asked her to see different style rings. Her response was "what other styles?" I didn't come in with knowledge on rings, so I explained to her that she was supposed to be the expert, and anything other than what she had been showing me would be good. She told me they only had gold rings. When I asked her if it was possible to try on a gold ring and order the one I liked in platinum she told me that it was too expensive for me! I was floored! I ended up leaving before flipping out and causing a scene. Needless to say I never went back. I then went to Robbins Brothers where I purchased a ring more than double the price than the rings she originally showed me. And to top it all off, when my husband and I put my engagement ring under a microscope it looked like crap. He was pissed, but I still love my ring even though the diamond is cloudy and the platinum band is tarnished.

My fiance and I purchased our rings from the Jewelry Exchange in Tustin. He had ordered my engagement ring from online and it was perfect. But going into the store and buying our wedding rings was a different story. The salesperson was not too helpful and even ordered the wrong size of my wedding ring. So once I picked it up and it was too big, the person we picked it up from was not even willing to have it re-sized for me. Ring was a good price but at the cost of customer service.

My fiance and I purchased our rings from the Jewelry Exchange in Tustin. He had ordered my engagement ring from online and it was perfect. I loved my experience at the Tustin Jewelry Exchange. I was able to pick my diamond and setting independently, as well as examine several stones until we found one that fit my ideal and our budget. We received the ring a few days afterwards and the fire in it was amazing. The sales rep who helped us was patient and very knowledgeable about the 4Cs. I would definitely recommend this store to everyone looking for their engagement ring or fine jewelry in general for any occasion.

I loved my experience at the Tustin Jewelry Exchange. I was able to pick my diamond and setting independently, as well as examine several stones until we found one that fit my ideal and our budget. My fiancé bought me a beautiful ring from Jewelry Exchange; however, 3 months later diamonds started falling out. When I brought the ring in to the store I was told that almost all of the diamonds were loose. They assured me that the settings would be reinforced and I should not experience any more problems.
However, within 11 months I ended up losing a total of 3 diamonds. Each time I brought the ring in I was told that all of the settings were reinforced and that I shouldn't have any more problems. After the 2nd diamond fell out I asked a sales associate if my ring was losing diamonds because the setting was more delicate than other settings. After looking at my ring, she told me that my ring is NOT delicate and that does not explain why diamonds are falling out.

After the 3rd diamond fell out I was furious. I brought my ring in to the store the next day and had the unfortunate experience of working with Mae, a manager. I demanded that my fiancé receive a refund or at the very least, a warranty extension, since my warranty was almost over. Mae refused both requests without any hesitation and dealt with me in a very uncaring and unsympathetic manner. She made me feel as if she didn't care about my situation and was very flippant. She eventually agreed to send my ring to corporate so that they could determine if the setting was defective.

Corporate had my ring for 4 weeks and determined that nothing was wrong. When I picked up my ring I had another terrible experience when I met the Asst Manager, Niko. When I asked him what corporate did to my ring he told me that it was completely re-tipped and that I should not have any more problems, then he told me that I should wait for a 4th diamond to fall out, and then he told me that he didn't know what they did and I would need to come back and talk to Kathy, another manager. Niko's demeanor was rude and unsympathetic and he made me feel as if I was wasting his time. He clearly just wanted me to leave the store. After dealing with him I truly felt that no one at that store cared about my ordeal.

When I met with Kathy to find out what was done, I found out that the reason diamonds were falling out was because my ring is a micro pave setting which is highly delicate (keep in mind I asked this EXACT question the 2nd time a diamond fell out). My ring NEVER should have gone to corporate because someone should have recognized this when the 1st diamond fell out. I also need to add that my fiancé was never told that micro pave settings were delicate and not meant to be worn every day when he bought my ring. For these reasons, Kathy offered to exchange my ring for a new one.

When my fiancé and I went to exchange my ring I was HIGHLY emotional. When I met with Kathy I told her about how awful my experience was and I told her about the way Niko treated me. Kathy walked away and the next thing I knew, Niko was approaching me and shouting, "Hey! You got a problem with me??" He got in my face and demanded to know what he did wrong. He began yelling at me and when my fiancé demanded that he walk away he refused. I felt completely attacked. My fiancé continued to tell him to back off and Niko proceeded to suggest that my fiancé was threatening him. At that point I completely lost it and burst into tears. I felt so humiliated that I had to leave the store. Niko walked away when I started crying and did not apologize. Due to this experience, I decided to forego the exchange and keep my original ring because I never want to walk in to that store again or deal with any of their rude and incompetent employees. I also need to mention that the next Monday, Kathy called me and told me that my fiancé was rude to her. Considering he spent thousands of dollars on a ring that was falling apart I think he has every right to be rude to her and the rest of her employees.

You may save money shopping at Jewelry Exchange but nothing compares to the customer service that you will get at a reputable Jeweler. If you still decide to buy a ring at Jewelry Exchange then I highly recommend that you educate yourself on the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of settings because you will not get any help from that store.

I found the most perfect ring here and it didn't break the bank. I would definitely suggest that you go here for your ring if you can. The only thing i didn't like is when we went back to resize it they wanted to charge us and I thought it should be a service you offer to customers.

I found my wedding band here (a half channel diamond band) for a really great price. I was fortunate that the ring they had was my exact size, but they do offer a resizing service. I don't know if their diamonds are conflict free (although for how inexpensive they are I don't think they are). If you are on a budget I highly recommend giving this place a try.

We live in West LA but drove all the way down to the Jewelry Exchange in Tustin for my engagement ring and our wedding bands. They have a bunch of stuff to choose from, and, most importantly, had what we wanted on site. I wanted an emerald cut stone for my engagement ring and other places we went to had maybe two on hand. The Jewelry Exchange had at least five stones of varying quality for us to choose from. That was a plus. When it came time for us to get our wedding bands, we knew we didn't want anything fancy (no stones; just plain white gold), they had bands that they sized for us the same day (which is good ... because we waited until the last possible minute to get them). The staff is easy to work with, but they do try to sell you stuff you might not want. (Be firm in what you want and they'll provide it for you.)

I did not think they had the variety of jewelry--we purchased our wedding bands and they had limited sizes. I had to make another trip out to Tustin to pick up the size adjusted ring. My Fiance and I went here to create my engagement ring. We picked our center stone, the ring setting, and they did the rest. We got a great quality and larger diamond for less than Shopping Mall rings. I highly recommend this company because they have no over head. They own the building and the land they occupy and their workers are not paid based on commission, which they will always give you their honest opinions.
