My packages come with touch-ups using the latest digital editing tools such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Special requests for post processing by customer such as sepia, or a "dream" effect can be requested.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I am quite versatile in any form of light.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot only in digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
I have the ability to call on at least 2 photographers to work with me on your special day.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Rain, sleet or shine, I will be there...early.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I will never book two events in one day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes I do have colleagues to call on in case I am unavailable.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Only professional grade cameras, lenses and accessories. I carry two camera bodies with me, a number of flash heads, a sleuth of batteries and my ever so accurate pro lenses. I am a Canon shooter.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Indeed I do.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I have a set of wedding packages that are negotiable. It is in the best interest of my clients to ask and inform me of what they'd like to receive and it is my responsibility to ensure that the package I tailor for them suits them.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I am able to shoot extra hours if need be at the rate of $120/hr.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Hardly. Every crucial moment, expected or unexpected must be documented. I carry with me some light snacks to tide me over during shoots. It is up to the client to provide me with meals. Although I still find excusing myself from the table and shooting after a bite or two.
Do you charge for travel?
It will be my responsibility to inform the client of any travel charges.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
1 - 2 weeks
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Full resolution, digital in a gallery to be reviewed
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I do retain the copyright for the photos. However, I don't charge for use of the photos so long as you give me credit if the image is being posted online. :) This will be explained in a very detailed contract.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Only the finished product.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Absolutely. I think it's important that the client can share the images with friends and family from the comfort of their own home.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer Italian style, flush mounted wedding albums. The number of spreads and the type of cover are all customized by the client.
When will the client get the final album?
Allow for no more than 2 months for the album to be received. Please understand that I have to create the layout, allow for corrections and printing.
