We have had nothing but problems with them from the beginning. It took us 2 hours to initially set up our wedding party with them because there was only one man in the store and he had no idea what he was doing. All of our groomsmen's pants came in the wrong color. They ordered my Dad the wrong suit entirely and ordered both my Dad and my Future Father in law the wrong sizes! When we questioned why all these mistakes were being made all we got in return were excuses, not one person apologized or offered to compensate us for our troubles. Needless to say we will not be returning to Jos. A. Bank in the future!

All of our groomsmen's pants came in the wrong color. They ordered my Dad the wrong suit entirely and ordered both my Dad and my Future Father in law the wrong sizes! I would recommend to run away at full speed. I felt with 2 locations, both in Indiana. The first was Greenwood, IN Dave their specialist treated us like dirt from the moment we walked in, he even told us we should look into renting costumes for the guys. The sad thing was we were there to book our wedding with them, and they would not give us the tome of day. I ended up having to pull the site up on my phone to show my fiancé what I liked, and had to go threw their rack with colors to show him them together. We ended up walking out. Needless to say I spent the evening in tears and told my fiancé at the time I wanted to go somewhere else. He insisted we stick with them. So we ended up booking at the Indianapolis, IN location. They were much more professional, and did the measuring for my fiancé. On the day before the wedding he picks up his suits, and its awful. Its way too big. Pants dragging the ground, jacket coving his hand, and the waist too long. He took it back and got remeasured. They did a rush on it. The morning of the wedding its still wrong. He ended up wearing his fathers, and his fathers wore his. As it was not as important if his fit well. To top it off they said they were sorry, and would give my husband his rental for free..... Well it was already free, because we had 9 other guys getting suits. Whatever you do, do NOT use Jos A. Bank.

The quality of service varies HUGELY by store. Two separate stores in Washington, DC were horrible to work with. One store in Arlington, VA (Pentagon City mall) was good to work with, and are the only reason we don't rate service and professionalism as zero stars.

At one store in DC (McPherson Square), which is not surprisingly out-of-business now, we received perhaps the worst service I have ever had. In addition to multiple members of the staff seeming to be utterly clueless about how to fit and pick elements of tuxedos and suits, they made us wait a very long time. Although we arrived first, they continually would go to help other customers who walked in and would never finish with helping us, leading to us having to explain our requests multiple times. Additionally, when we were helped, they were very rude and standoffish.

Once we left after selecting a suit, we looked online and discovered that the McPherson store had screwed up multiple aspects of our request. We immediately transferred our business to the Arlington location, where service was much better.

My groomsmen came from around the country, and for the most part the suits came in very nicely. However, my best man's suit that was delivered to another DC location (19th & M NW) came with the wrong type of pants. Although he received a partial refund, that is simply not something that we should have had to deal with.

We did receive a deal in which the groom received a free suit, although you can probably find a cheaper deal elsewhere. If all you want is a classic tux or simple suit, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

DO NOT GO HERE! We went to the Jos. A. Bank in Glenn Mills (Along Wilminton Pike), PA. Spent the first night there sitting for 2 and a half hours until closing when the night staff confessed he didn't really know what he was doing and didn't know how to work the computer system and we had to come back the next day. Everything that they had told us was also a lie. They told us a certain tux rental would be a certain price, and that the receipt reflected $80 more, they told us that this was because a discount would be applied at checkout. Suspicious I called Jos. A. Banks to find this was not true at all! That was the actual price! They also told us being there two months before the wedding was "too early" and we didn't need to take care of this until 2 weeks before. Also not true. We were told the things THEY were adding on were free...like suspenders..also not true. They entered a groomsmen name in wrong. We put a deposit down for the father of the groom...I looked online and it said the father of the groom was not fitted... after following up we found out that they never pushed the "committed" button, even though we had paid, he would have never gotten his tux. I had a coupon for a free accessory package, the first night they told us everyone in the group would get the package, the next night they told us we didn't apply for the package at all, the next time they told us that only the groom will get the package.. quite frankly I still have no idea if anyone will get the package. We then worked with Peter from the Jos. A. Banks in Exton he was SO helpful and the complete opposite. Also worked with the phone customer service he was awesome as well!. I would NEVER go back to the Jos. A. Banks in Glen Mills again.. if you're in the West Chester area go to EXTON!!

Went to Jos. A. Bank in Kenilworth to purchase suits for my wedding. It turned out to be the most stressful, unpleasant and tedious aspect of my entire wedding planning experience.
I purchased 8 suits in April 2016. I gave the salesman all sizes (we used the same sizes from another wedding we were in during February 2016, those suits were also provided by Jos. A. Bank, so sizes should be uniform) for my groomsmen and he pulled the suits directly off the racks. Paid for them in full at that time and Jos. A. Bank was to hold them until we need to have them altered. I was told to come back 3 weeks before the wedding date for alterations. The wedding is August 20 and we began coming in on Aug. 1. This is where the fun begins.
First, multiple groomsmen came to pick up their suits and the sizes were all wrong. Jackets would fit, but the pants were extremely large. This is were I learned of "nested suits". Keep in mind, this was not explained to me in April. Why would I have paid for pants that were 6-8 sizes too large?? While discussing this issue/problem with the suits, multiple sales reps made me and my wedding party feel as though it was our fault. It was like pulling teeth trying to solve this issue. After spending an hour in the store, the manager finally rush ordered correct pants.
Another issue we had was with the alterations themselves. One groomsmen had to pay $160 for alterations. How on earth can alterations cost $160??!! (Unless he has a third leg I'm not aware of) If alterations are going to cost $160, then he most likely is in the WRONG size pants!! Just give him the right size!
Multiple groomsmen had to go back on multiple occasions because alterations were done incorrectly.
Lastly, the FATHER OF THE BRIDE went to pick up his all grey suit and was given grey pants and a NAVY BLUE COAT!!!
My experience at Jos A. Bank was awful. The customer service was horrid! I will never go back to Jos. A Bank again in my life.

They were fine. We used the Jos A Bank in Towson, MD. Although, our groomsmen got fitted all over the place, in a total of 7 different Jos A Bank stores. Most of the guys tuxes fit well on the first try, but the groom, father of the bride, and brother of the bride did not. The groom's sleeves were too short. FOB's tux was just all wrong, and groomsmen(brother) vest was too small and shirt was missing a button. Luckily, the location in Towson has a seemstress on site who was able to do the alterations on my fathers very quickly. Unfortunately, my fiancé who picked his up in Bel Air, MD had to leave it and come back the next day to have his sleeves fixed. Not a huge deal. It all worked out in the end and the guys looked great. Cant really complain, but wish they had more help in the stores. It is always a long line and very disorganized when you go in (especially the one in Towson). Too many customers and not enough employees. Then they rush so much they do not fit you correctly!! And my fiancé was even measured wrong 2 different times!!! I also find it kind of ridiculous that they charge the same price for the grown men as they do for the 10 year old boy ($200) to rent a tuxedo. What a rip off!!

This company was AWFUL to work with. They messed up my groomsmen, father of the groom, father of the bride, and ring bearer's order multiple time. They messed up my fiancee's measurements multiple times and even forgot to put in the measurements. Also, when my 6 year old nephew went to get measured they took 2 hours and he was in tears by the end of it. Both my brothers my dad and my fiancee's tux did not fit when they went to pick them up. The company gave me the run around when I asked for an explanation. When my mom went to return the tuxes it took another 1 hour to do so because they were so disorganized. I will never come back here again for rentals.

Suits were ordered and supposed to be delivered to other stores - they weren't. We had to have vests brought in from other stores - they weren't. When the groom when to pick up his suit, they demanded to see the receipt - none of the groomsmen who picked up their suits in other states/stores required a receipt. It was a hassle and I would not recommend Jos. A. Banks as a first option for suits.
