I have been to so many weddings in my life time and never have I ever been so shocked to see such behavior for a DJ. The craziest thing about it is, Juke Box DJs was at another wedding I was at a few weeks ago and he was amazing (not the owner, another employee). This woman (Kim?) acted so unprofessional and was slurring over every other word she was saying. To have that kind of behavior she had to be intoxicated. She stopped the music (at least 5 times) and there was silence for at least 2 minutes, she repeated songs, and she kept on talking about nothing. The couple missed their dollar dance because it was forgotten about and the bride and groom did not want to have her talking again. The bouquet and garder toss was nearly forgotten about as well! They were lucky to have such an amazing planner there to move that along. I witnessed the bride and groom talking to her about her behavior and that she was talking to much and she replied "oh.. no I'm not." And then ignored them. She was rude to all guests and would not speak to them if they had a request. She would just point to a hand written note that said "no requests". The worst of all.. is that they won't even apologies what happened to the bride when she approached them later on. They blamed her for not saying anything during (which she totally did) and then continued to harass the planner afterwards saying that they would ruin her. The planner was doing her job making sure the night was going smoothly and the bride and groom were happy.. which did not happen. Thankfully the couple had an amazing day with love and laughter with friends and family and it did not completely ruin the night. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

This experience was by far the worst of my entire wedding. Kim, the owner's wife, was requested to DJ our wedding and it was beyond awful. It started out okay but I quickly realized that she was slurring her words and was acting erratically. She would randomly make weird noises in to the mic, talk over the music (on the rare occasion she was actually playing music), also talked incessantly all evening, would leave 10-30 seconds between songs (except of course when she stopped the songs right in the middle to play a different one), and also played at least three songs more than once. Every single guest came up to me to comment about her behavior. I actually have hours of video that was taken by my guests because they couldn't believe what they were seeing. It basically became the running joke of the reception. The other vendors I worked with also came up separately to tell me how sorry they were about her behavior and tell me in all of their years in the business they had never seen anything like this. As music is such a huge part of a reception, it goes without saying that we were beyond crushed to see a night we had looked forward to for over a year ruined by someone who couldn't handle themselves in a professional manner. Please do yourself a favor and stay far, far away. The owner has now taken to harassing my wedding planner for some very odd reason that I can't seem to figure out.

So pleased to have found Gary and Kim from Juke Box Productions at a Bridal Show in O'Fallon. From the moment that I approached his booth, I was impressed with his energy and enthusiasm and clear love for his work. He asked what my first dance song was going to be and played it while twirling me around the Bridal Show! What a fun experience! That sealed the deal for me, right there. Gary made our reception so fun, finding music from different eras that all my guests enjoyed, and he even showed our great nieces some dance moves! His good humor and advice were a great asset to letting me relax and trust his expertise and it was a pleasure to not worry about this aspect of the reception.

Very reasonably priced! I would recommend if you don't have any ideas about what kind of music you want played. They are very experienced in the industry. I had my doubts because my husband and I had a lot of requests, but after many conversations things worked out the way we wanted!

They were really helpful in my inexperience with weddings, and helped everything go smoothly. I had a few guests tell me they didnt get hear their song requests, and she didnt let my husband know that he should wait to toss the garter, but that and the fact that she wanted to take a while to explain the electric slide, that everyone knew, were my only complaints.

Jukebox production was a great place to work with. Very accomodating to requests and questions. Everyone had a great time-even had people coming from one of the other weddings coming in to ours because the music was great! Thanks for a great time.

They did a great job at my wedding :) They were able to accommodate with some extras we added near my wedding date. Including a projector necessary to show a video my brother had made as a surprise for me on my wedding. They played plenty of great music that got people dancing and I had many compliments from my guests saying they had a great time :). They also adhered to all the requests I had made for them. The only issue was during once song the speakers went haywire, but they quickly fixed the issue and was able to get people who retreated from the dance floor, get back on again as if nothing had happened. I would go back and choose them all over again because they were quick to adjust any technical difficulties and flexible with late additions that were necessary to make my wedding memorable.

Look no further, this is the DJ for you! He was awesome. We booked Jukebox DJ at a wedding show, and I am so glad we did. They are great to work with, emails and phone calls were responded with the next day or earlier. We did spend $50 more and booked Gary the owner and it was well worth it. He was funny, and would do anything you asked of him. He would joke around and helped put our maid of honor and best man at ease when he handed them the microphone for their toasts. He read the crowd well and got out and danced with us, he is also a dance instructor which was great because he was able to teach everyone the Cupid Shuffle so easily! They give you a huge list of their most requested songs to circle what you want played, they have stuff for dinner music to, this was SOOOO great because I, as the bride, did not have to sit around and try to come up with my own list and own dinner music list. I got alot of compliments on him, and now other people are planning on booking him. Book Gary and you have nothing to worry about, you are in good hands.

At first, I was very excited to use JukeBox Productions. A friend in the wedding business recommended using them, although they had no first-hand experience with them. I went to a wedding show, and met with the owner, Kimberly, and decided that I liked her and would like for her to be our DJ. Apparently, however, there was a small print at the bottom of the contract that said that I would get either Kimberly or another of their top DJs for my wedding. You see, the company charges extra if you book either the owners and one or two of their other DJs. So, I realized just days before my wedding that another DJ had been assigned to my event - and I hadn't realized it. Kimberly was very accommodating at the time, and said that she would change the schedule so that she could be at my event.

At my event, however, Kimberly was at least 15 minutes late announcing the wedding party (we were waiting in the bar area of the reception hall), and she announced my name as Kathy instead of Katie. It just happens that my husband's sister's name is Kathy - so apparently she had gotten confused. That wasn't a big deal though - mistakes happen. After that, she was quite slow getting things rolling and it was probably at least an hour before we started dancing - something that really upsets me, since I was very much looking forward to dancing all night. Also, I had SEVERAL songs pre-requested that I really wanted played for their sentimental meaning to me and my friends and me and my family and me and my husband - NONE OF THEM WERE PLAYED! I didn't think enough of it to go and request them - figuring that she would get to them. Several of my family members, including my mother, my sister, and my new sister-in-law and brother-in-law went to request music and each were given a very snippy answer. Additionally, my dad had to ask more than once for her to play a song that is played at all of my family's weddings (and which I had also pre-requested) - it was the second to last dance. That is just un-acceptable! None of my guests were up and dancing most of the night - a fact that really upset me, since my friends and family are 100% on the dance floor at all of my other cousin's weddings. Yet, Kimberly continued to play the same boring songs until about the last 10-15 minutes. She did not read the crowd very well.

At any rate - Kimberly was definitely not worth the extra money it cost to book her -and I left my reception disappointed that my guests hadn't been partying on the dance floor all night long.
