Just the Little Things combines event planning and creative design for your special day - whether it be a wedding, an anniversary, a shower or a birthday bash. We will help you plan your event from the very beginning with your event theme and decor down to the details of party favors and thank you cards. No event is too large or small! We'd love to help execute your vision for your special event so that you don't have to worry about a thing, especially on the day-of!

Becoming an event planner sort of fell into her lap! About 9 years ago, her manager was getting re-married and asked her to coordinate the day-of festivities. Her manager trusted her judgement and knew that she had a keen sense of detail. From then on, she helped plan and coordinate weddings and events for friends and family. Cindy and Just the Little Things were absolutely perfect. Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to her attention to detail. She kept things running smoothly and even improvised when we were behind schedule. She and her assistant excecuted what was a seemingly chaotic double ceremony flawlessly. We could not have had such an amazing day without her and I highly recommend her to any bride who wants to just sit back relax and enjoy their wedding day (as they are supposed to)!!

We paid for Day of Coordination and received additional planning more than that. Throughout the whole wedding night, she was checking in with us to make sure our drink was full, we were getting everything we wanted, and made sure all the guests were happy while at the same time having the wedding reception run smoothly. Overall she was a value add and we were glad to have had her onboard when the wedding came to.

We're thankful for the services Cindy provided for our wedding. She made beautiful invitations & programs, packaged the favors & gifts, planned our wedding, and coordinated the day of. We never knew how much preparation goes into a wedding and was grateful to have Cindy's expertise on our side. When we first booked Cindy, my husband couldn't understand why we'd need those kinds of services, I was very organized and he figured that the venue coordinator would handle the rest. I assured him that come crunch time, Cindy was going to be very essential to the success of our wedding! (and BOY was I RIGHT) I thought I was a very organized bride, but being a "budget" bride I had lots of set ups and details I knew needed to be coordinated and I couldn't trust my venue to ensure all of our needs were being met. Cindy was amazing in handling my venue, which when I signed our contract was amazing and then gradually got less responsive to non responsive...and in fact the coordinator for my venue didn't even show up to the walk through I had scheduled for Cindy, myself and her; Of course Cindy took it all in stride!

I sadly went from a highly organized ahead of schedule bride to a mess when I lost my job a month and a half before our wedding...I was lucky enough to start a new job soon after, BUT fell off track with everything wedding in the process of readjusting to my new job! Again, Cindy was wonderful...held everything together, even though I was a disaster! Week of the wedding Cindy was instrumental in communicating with my venue which had switched venue coordinators on me a week and a half out to someone we've never met or even heard of! Our wedding day was wonderful, Cindy kept everything together...and trust me, that was NO easy feat! She was ultimately responsible for setting up our room with help from the venue staff and the room was breath taking, completely in sync with our vision! Cindy even emailed us at the end of our honeymoon to alert us of a problem from our wedding and that she had already talked to the venue on our behalf!

I know there are moments Cindy probably wanted to ring my neck and scream, but she stayed professional, courteous, and solution orientated every step of the way!
Cindy is amazing and I can't say enough about her service, we did her day of coordination service and it was above and beyond our expectations! After our wedding even my husband thought it was money well spent!

I like to believe that I am an organized person, since all my friends lean on me when it comes to event planning. So when we decided to have an outdoor ceremony at Wrigley Square in Millennium Park, I knew a day of coordinator (DOC) was a requirement. I, like most brides relied on wedding sites and internet for reviews on vendors. I met a couple of DOC, all of which had great reviews on the internet and loved all of them. I had a few criteria's that I looked for in a DOC. The most important one was, if they have ever organized a wedding at Millennium Park. One of the other DOC did, however, Cindy did not, at least not at that time. Going into our meeting, I thought I knew who I was going to go with, however, once I met with Cindy I wasn't too sure anymore. Even though Cindy did not have the experience with planning an event at Millennium Park, she had many experiences under her belt and I was very comfortable with her.

Hiring Cindy was the best decision and worth every penny. People always say that something will fall through the cracks, which was the main reason we wanted to hire a DOC. Cindy was easy to work with, creative, professional, detailed oriented, responsive, organized and most importantly, she had your best interest at heart. When we met up to do a walk through of the venues, we thought we came prepared with everything, our contracts, important phone numbers, etc. Boy were we wrong, Cindy thought of things that didn't even cross our minds and her attention to all the details of the wedding ceremony and reception venue was just unbelievable. She gave great advice and helped us with selecting our photographer to program ideas. Every time I would stress about something, she would put me at ease.

On the day of our wedding, there were quite a few issues. The ceremony started late because my family was stuck in traffic. Cindy continued to check on the status of their whereabouts and she still kept the whole wedding party on schedule. At the reception, the chair cover vendors ran late and therefore, the tables couldn't be set up. Cindy jumped right in and helped organized the chairs, menus, name cards, making sure everything was set up as planned. I remember my sister-in-law telling me that there was a table that was missing a couple of chairs. I ask Cindy if we could add some additional chairs and as soon as I turned around it was already taken care of. I am sure there were more issues that I didn't even know about because she took care of them unnoticeably.

I can't thank Cindy enough for making our day so special and stress-free.

We hired Cindy as our day-of coordinator after interviewing 2 other companies, both of which had received very positive reviews from references as well as on the Internet. Going into our meeting with Cindy, we were already pretty confident that we were going to go with one of the other companies, unless something utterly amazing happened. It did. We were struck by Cindy's professionalism, confidence, organizational skills, eye for design, and experience. We felt that she had just the right balance of friendliness and firmness that we needed in a wedding coordinator, and that she would be able to think quickly and handle any glitches that would undoubtedly come up on our wedding day. And we were right. Hiring Cindy was possibly the best vendor decision that we made. Her prices are very reasonable and she is worth every penny (and then some). Cindy has just the right personality and skill set for a great wedding coordinator. First, she is very organized -- she created several different lists for us, made detailed schedules for the rehearsal and actual wedding day, and was able to handle and keep track of several last-minute changes. During the weeks before the wedding, lots of different e-mails flew back and forth between us every day, all with different questions, responses, and thoughts. I cannot imagine how my wedding would have gone without Cindy from Just The Little Things! I used her day-of services, but she provided so much more than I expected.
