I chose these photographers (now known as This Modern Life) because a close friend of mine used them and was very happy with her results. I will say that the pictures that we have are very beautiful and I am mostly happy with the overall quality. That said, I was disappointed with the service provided. We asked for very few groupings for our posed photos, gave them ample time (over 2 hours) and had everyone present and they did not take the pictures we asked for, including some that are just common sense: for example, we don\'t have a single picture of my parents/family with my husband\'s. Or me with my two maids of honor (just each of them individually). We only have ONE shot of our entire wedding party together and our flower girl is not in it. During our ceremony there is a close up, individual shot of all of my bridesmaids and my groom but there isn\'t ONE of me, the bride. I\'m not an egomaniac, I just find that incredibly odd. There were 8-10 set ups with the groomsmen that are awesome and fun, there are just two with the bridesmaids. We don\'t have a picture of my husband with his 90 year old grandmother which makes me sad. Anyway, I am just disappointed that I feel like so many moments were missed. As for their service after the wedding, we felt we were kept waiting for a long time to receive our disc of printable pictures and even our album and had very little communication with them that was not initiated by us. It was very frustrating. Again, we have some great pictures so hiring them wasn\'t a total disaster, but for the amount of money we spent, I expected better of them. EDIT: Since submitting this review I have been contacted by our photographers and have been very pleased with how they have handled things. Kevin and Jessica were very concerned and apologetic and have tried hard to address my concerns and make things better. I appreciate being contacted by them and that they take the reviews they receive to heart. They even photoshopped/created one of the shots I had asked for of me and my MOHs which made me really happy. There were definitely some glitches as they made some changes to their system that led to some miscommunication about what was requested. I feel confident that if not for these technical glitches in our communication that they would have gotten the shots I requested.
