We have over 325 weddings to date.
Is your media preference film or digital?
We shoot in an all digital format
How many photographers do you work with?
All of our collections include two photographers, but can be customized for smaller events.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, but we also offer packages for our associate photographers where I won't be there. The client is well aware of who will be photographing their wedding prior to contracting.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We don't book ourselves for more than one event per day, but sometimes we will shoot two per weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
As members of the local photography community and the PPA, we have back-up photographers in case of an emergency.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Two Nikon professional cameras, seven Nikon professional lenses, six Nikon professional flashes, extra batteries, memory cards, tripod, light stands.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
We always have back-up equipment with us.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Full-Day Collection Pricing.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
We can shoot additional hours and the price varies depending on the collection from $200-400 per hour.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We generally take a break when you sit down to eat at your reception. We do ask that the client provide a meal or we can get something off of the buffet. By the time break comes, we have typically been with the client from 5-6 hours. In that time, we don't have time to get a meal.
Do you charge for travel?
If the event is over two hours away, travel fees will apply.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs will be ready within 14 days of the wedding. Often, we have them completed by the end of one week.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Our initial proofs are offered online in a gallery.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Galleries will stay up approximately one year after the event for ordering.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
We retain the copyright to all of our images. However, our collections transfer the print rights to the client allowing them to print unlimited prints at the printer of choice.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
We always reserve the right to publish our work. The client can also submit images for publications. The publication will need our written permission to publish our copywritten art.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
We provide digital files to our clients on either a DVD or a cusomized thumb-drive.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Images are available to view online for approximately one year after the event.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer lay-flat, heirloom quality albums from Albums Epoca.
When will the client get the final album?
The client will get the final album after they make their image selections, approve the design and choose the cover. Typical print and binding time is 4 weeks after the aforementioned selections are made.
