It met our needs, but looking back we should have looked around for a better price. We knew there was a $6000 minimum, but as we got closer to the wedding, our guest list dropped from 200 to 150, at it became difficult to meet the minimum. We wasted a lot of money and food that way. Also regarding money, I'm still unsure as to where all of that six grand went. Prices fluctuated, the bill was ambiguous, and some charges were not asked for and had to be cleared up. One strange policy they have (or rather don't offer) is a tasting. We were told to trust their years of experience and the food would be fine. It was, but we made sure to choose the buffet just in case since we had no way of knowing how it would turn out. We managed to get the hall decorated how we wanted, but it was a last minute, never guaranteed opportunity. Their decor was ok, maybe a little outdated, but with our decorations it looked nice when the lights were down. We used the Williamsburg Room, which comes with the Maryland Room as well. I really enjoyed having the two separate spaces and extra room for display and kids' activity tables. Overall there were a lot of unknowns, but it turned out fine. I just wish it would have been cheaper.

Quite pricey if your having a Saturday evening event, but everything is spelled out in the contract up front. You should be able to calculate exactly what you're going to pay (or if you meet your minimum) but ours ended up a little fuzzy somehow. With any reception hall you book, my advice is to find a hall that will fit the number of people you're expecting (and up to your maximum) but book a hall that you won't end up spending an arm and a leg on when only 65% of your guest list says "yes." We really had to load on things to meet our minimum, but it worked out in the end.

The food was good and our guests enjoyed the white wine in particular.

The biggest potential downfall is the fact that you can't necessarily decorate the hall the night before, or even the morning of. It's in their contract that you may only have half an hour prior to your event to decorate, but they will help set out things. We got lucky though, and we did get in the hall the night before. I recommend renting linens. We rented chair covers and table runners and it really made the hall look totally different!

We were very happy with this reception site. People are still talking about how good our food was! One guest was allegic to rosemary and they were happy to make her a special batch of mashed potatoes because of the gravy. We chose to do family style service, because it was the same price as the buffet without the hassle of lines. People really liked that because it felt more like families coming together.

They were very nice. We dropped off all our favors and decorations the night before. They set every thing up for us. They even let us bring in soda as our wedding favors, most other places didn't want us to bring in "outside" beverages.

Klemmer's was pricey but with the options we chose they ended up being cheaper than the other reception cites we looked at. I would definitely recommend them.
