Duane Landini is wonderful to work with! We hired him to be our DJ at our wedding in May 2008. He played the piano beforehand at our cocktail hour (he was outstanding!!!) and then did very professional introductions of the wedding party. He asked for a suggested song list prior to our wedding, went through the pronunciations of all of the names in the wedding party and really took time to learn our wedding schedule so that he could be the emcee for the evening! He was extremely professional and played music that our guests loved! People were dancing all night! Duane had also done my sisters wedding about 10 years ago and people that were our guests again just loved him! Just outstanding to work with and he will take your wedding to an unforgettable level! Would HIGHLY Recommend this company!

We worked with Duane, owner of Landini Entertainment, as a DJ for our wedding. He sounded trustworthy and as though he understood our vision. On our wedding day, there were multiple issues that truly tainted our memories. I've bulleted them below.

I would never recommend Landini Entertainment Productions.

* On his arrival he seemed more concerned with marketing himself to strangers around the venue area than in helping the customer who already paid for his services.

* With our musical themes in mind, during the cake cutting, Duane played "Lady in Red". This 80's hit did not fall into jazzy standards, oldies, salsa and swing, and, when the focus of the day is a lady in white, this was utterly humiliating.

* As Anthony, our designated MC, announced that the dance floor was open, Duane stepped in and began narrating and commentating, calling people "seat potatoes". I asked him to stop the commentary, and he did. For that, I am grateful.

* The first round of songs was nearly the CD I sent to him in the mail. Our favorites were played in one big lump. It burned through them and didn't even give us a chance to take a break since they were the songs we wanted to dance to. To be honest, I should just have hooked up my iPod to a boom box.

* Going against our wishes he played "Nasty Boys" by Janet Jackson, which not only wasn't our preferred genre, but was also quite offensive. And "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy". When I addressed this with Duane after the event, he blamed my guests for the requests (when he had said he wouldn’t be taking any) instead of taking responsibility for playing the songs. He also played The Chicken Dance which I had told him specifically was on the DO NOT PLAY list. When I confronted him during my own wedding and asked that he change the song, he did absolutely nothing.

Duane was why we ended early.
