I found the ladies of Luxe Events to be professional, knowledgeable, personable, flexible and organized.
I would recommend their services to anyone whose desire is to have a worry free event.

Carina and McEmsara organized my vendors, set time tables for the entire evening.

We had the pleasure of working with Carina and McEmsara for our wedding. We contracted them for their partial planning services because we were experienced with event planning, but needed help on the front/back-end and also because of our limited budget. From day one, we had great access to them despite the fact that I, the bride, lived in NYC, the groom in Virginia and they in New Jersey. Through their help, we were able to find the perfect location for our reception. Also, they took the time to educate us on the many details of wedding planning. They respected our budget and worked hard to help us stay on track.

After booking the ceremony and reception venues, we kept in touch with the ladies sporadically while my husband and I managed the planning using their timeline. They always made themselves available if we had any questions, but we tried our best to stick to our contract. We would recommend their partial planning service to any couple willing to put in the effort to work as a team. Rest assured, a month before the wedding, the ladies will take over and communicate with all the vendors, ensuring that everything goes well on the big day.

Our wedding day was picture-perfect, and a lot of the credit goes to Luxe Events! We are very thankful for all their work and would highly recommend any of their packages.

We are extremely happy with our decision to have Luxe Events plan our wedding. With busy schedules and 5 months to plan, we knew that we would need a lot of help and direction. Thank God McEmsara and Carina came to our rescue. These two amazing ladies are a dynamic duo of talent. They are warm, approachable, encouraging, creative and realistic. I am a huge fan of LUXE events. I originally thought wedding planners only designed the wedding which I was not really interested in. I had a strong sense of what I wanted so I figured I would plan my entire wedding myself-- after all I had seen enough HGTV and had some party planning experience. I reached out to Luxe Events for good measure because I didn’t want to get midway through the process and find myself overwhelmed. In hindsight after saying “Yes” to my fiancé, hiring McEmsara at Luxe Events was the best decision I made for my wedding. I can’t even begin to describe what a tremendous difference having McEmsara as a wedding planner made. After describing the wedding I wanted she sent me several venue suggestions, one of which we ultimately contracted with and loved. She was a quick financial translator during negotiations with the venue we selected. While negotiating we knew very quickly what each selection or entertainment add-on meant to our bottom line which gave us the freedom to make fun selections with realistic expectations. We received so many warm comments from friends and co workers during the wedding , many thought we spent much more than we did, and several family members told us that our was the “best wedding” they had ever attended. We weren’t surprised, we had great help. When I look back on our wedding the most invaluable aspect of our wedding planner is that she kept us on target with our priorities so we spent the most on the things that mattered to us. Her “Day of Service” was impeccable, did I mention that our wedding started ONTIME?! The vendors worked together as if they had met each other before and everyone had a schedule and knew exactly where they were supposed to be. I’m glad we were able to leverage the experience and expertise of McEmsara and would certainly recommend Luxe Events to any Bride considering a wedding planner. I’m sure I’ll reach out to Luxe Events again for our vow renewals;-)

Carina and McEmsara are an impressive duo. They clearly understand the stresses of wedding-planning and their organization made our experience as stress-free as possible. They kept us on a realistic time-frame and, throughout the process, ensured that nothing was left until the last minute. This allowed use to relax and enjoy the process. Wedding planning invariably requires tons of communication. In this regard, Carina and McEmsara were excellent. They responded in a timely fashion to our 1388892984 daily emails. We never felt like we were alone; we always had a support system in Carina and McEmsara. They work well together, with both taking equal portions of the responsibilities, so it truly felt like a team effort, which was awesome. Part of the reason we were looking for a wedding planner was to have someone help us find vendors--in this sense, Luxe was spot on. Not only did they find our amazing venue, they were able to find vendors that were perfectly in line with our style and vision (and, more importantly, were within budget!), all of whom were extremely professional and easy to work with. They were present at all meetings and came into NYC to meet with us whenever necessary. If communication lines were slightly broken or misunderstood between us and a vendor, Carina and McEmsara were immediately on it, making everything great again. I used Luxe Events for Day of Coordination for my wedding day. I planned my wedding with tons of details. About 2 months before the wedding, I started to freak out about everything going smoothly. I realized that I needed help. Carina and McEmsara helped with the execution of the entire day. Every detail was exactly the way I had envisioned it. They helped order food for my wedding party while we got dressed, made sure all of decorations were in the right place, and helped with all of the ceremony details. They were always around to make sure that all of your needs were taken care of. I am so happy that I made the decision to hire them. Ladies, trust me do yourself a favor and hire Luxe. The last thing you want to do on your wedding day is worry about all of the details.

We are so thankful to the ladies of Luxe Events for bringing us to the perfect
venue for our wedding. My fiancé and I had been searching for the right place
for a long time and finally decided to hire someone to help us in our quest. We didn't
want the typical New Jersey venue and really wanted something that was elegant yet
relaxed. We just weren't very hopeful being we'd been looking for sooo long but
decided we would give a professional a try and if it didn't work out, well, Vegas here we come. Thrilled to say the ladies came through and we are so thrilled with what they found.

Update. The ladies came through once again for us. It was getting close to our wedding date (2 wks away) and we still hadn't booked a band/DJ. Being that it was an afternoon event we weren't really sure what would work for the place and time. It has been an honor to work with Carina and McEmsara. There aren't enough words to be able to express how thankful we are for their help when planning our wedding vows renewal. From the moment we met with them, they were always very professional, punctual (even when we tried to beat them at some appts lol), understanding, patient and so creative. They always listened to everything we said and always kept our wishes as a priority since as they say "its our day!"
We chose the Full Package they offer and it was one of the best decisions we made when starting to plan the wedding we never got to have. The budget idea works wonders because it really makes you see where all of the money goes and the email reminders definitely help keeping you organized. The introduced us to excellent vendors who were kept within our budget and our visions. We really had nothing to worry about at all during our planning since we knew we can count on them to help us thru it all. You ladies definitely helped us pull all of our ideas together to make it seem like an easy task :)

My girlfriend recommended Luxe Events to me, because she was very pleased with their services. I knew I wanted a "day of" coordinator, but Luxe Events went above and beyond one day.
Before I contacted them, I was constantly running mental "to do" lists, setting reminders on my phone and always worrying about forgetting something or making a wrong choice. That stopped immediately after hiring Carina and McEmsara. My reminders were sent to me (I would totally miss one of the appointments if it weren't for Luxe), they were running all my lists, I had fresh ideas for everything (no more tired useless wedding favors), and I had all of my questions (and I had a lot of questions) answered immediately - I never had to worry about my e-mail or text going unanswered. I was planning a wedding, and I was nothing but relaxed.
I already had some of my vendors lined up before teaming up with Luxe Events, but they did recommend a couple of vendors to me - I ended up using them and they were great!
My wedding day was very relaxing and I could concentrate on all the right things. While being photographed in the gardens before the ceremony, I saw the flowers being delivered, and didn't have the urge to stop the photosession and check on the delivery - I knew McEmsara and Carina would make sure the flowers were just as I wanted them. I didn't worry about any of the vendors running late, I was not a go-to person for directions, setting up or location of the ladies room, I was a bride (nor any of my girlfriends had any tasks assigned to them on my wedding day - they were simply my guests and all they had to do is enjoy the party).
And after arriving to the hotel after the reception, and thinking I probably left half of my things behind (veil, extra favors etc), I found everything packed into the trunk of my car by my wonderful day-of coordinators.
Besides their professionalism and helpfulness, they also have great personalities. Every meeting felt like hanging out with my girlfriends, talking about my wedding.
While choosing a day-of coordinator, I called one other wedding planning service, and before I could tell them what I was looking for, they asked me about my budget for their services. Carina and McEmsara met with me and talked about my needs and what they could do for me, and I did not feel obligated at all.
I do believe that I have fond memories about my wedding largely because of all the help I received form Luxe.

Without Carina and McEmsara of Luxe Events as DOCs at my wedding, I would not have had any flowers (or only black, frozen flowers) at my wedding, no generals for my army of volunteering friends to help with the setup, and who knows what else because they shielded me from plenty of other potential chaos, I'm sure.

We started working with Carina about 8 months before the wedding as a result of winning a day-of coordination package giveaway she hosted. Even if we hadn't won, I was seriously considering signing up for some of the partial planning coordination or DIY coaching sessions, which I think are a brilliant idea--I was chugging along but would get stuck on certain bits and also just worried that I was forgetting something obvious. All the other wedding planning/coordination services from the NY/NJ metro area seemed to be either too much or too little--full service wedding planning or only DOC services. It's great to have something that's in-between and flexible to your needs.

I was incredibly, incredibly impressed by how professional Carina was at all times, particularly since we were working with her through this giveaway. I had prepared myself to be a relatively low priority for her, but it was actually the total opposite. From our first meeting, Carina did a great job of really listening to us and our vision for the wedding, which was pretty casual, low-key, but fun and crafty too. She was always available and happy to help me when I had the most random questions like where to buy cheap ribbons in bulk to decorate the ceremony chairs, getting back to me really quickly even in when I was at the point in the planning process where waiting 2 days to get an email back seemed like an eternity.

Carina never pushed us to spend extra money on items that were unnecessary, which was really important to us and our careful budget, but she and McEmsara weren't afraid to use their experience and speak up to persuade us when something was really worth it to make things easier on the big day, like staying in a local hotel the night before instead of in the other places available to us that would have been at least a 45 minute drive. That was definitely a good call, as I felt so much more at ease to be in town where the wedding was to be held starting from the night before, rather than needing to rush down the morning of.

Overall, their whole mission was to make things simple and easy for us on our wedding day and they certainly succeeded. They kept all the various moving pieces (and people) on schedule, executed my ambitious DIY projects without a complaint, and as I mentioned at the beginning, saved us from having to use flowers that had blackened and frozen after being stored in the venue's refrigerators the day before by making an emergency run to Trader Joe's to buy beautiful and fresh flowers. I would have been super cranky if I had to be the one making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, since I hate coordinating groups, but they made it look easy. It's only now as I look through the many wedding photos from our photographers and guests that I can see them literally working the whole time in the background, keeping it all together. She was always available and happy to help me when I had the most random questions like where to buy cheap ribbons in bulk to decorate the ceremony chairs, getting back to me really quickly even in when I was at the point in the planning process where waiting 2 days to get an email back seemed like an eternity.

Carina never pushed us to spend extra money on items that were unnecessary, which was really important to us and our careful budget, but she and McEmsara weren't afraid to use their experience and speak up to persuade us when something was really worth it to make things easier on the big day, like staying in a local hotel the night before instead of in the other places available to us that would have been at least a 45 minute drive. That was definitely a good call, as I felt so much more at ease to be in town where the wedding was to be held starting from the night before, rather than needing to rush down the morning of.

Overall, their whole mission was to make things simple and easy for us on our wedding day and they certainly succeeded. They kept all the various moving pieces (and people) on schedule, executed my ambitious DIY projects without a complaint, and as I mentioned at the beginning, saved us from having to use flowers that had blackened and frozen after being stored in the venue's refrigerators the day before by making an emergency run to Trader Joe's to buy beautiful and fresh flowers. I would have been super cranky if I had to be the one making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, since I hate coordinating groups, but they made it look easy. It's only now as I look through the many wedding photos from our photographers and guests that I can see them literally working the whole time in the background, keeping it all together.
