Marianmade farms provides beautiful flowers and a lovely location. However, I would recommend others consider different locations for their wedding. The owner is exceptionally unprofessional and harassed my vendors. The location does not provide chairs or even a sink for your caterer. There is not adequate parking and you will be required to hire a trolley service. Other venues provide a beautiful location and all the things you need to have a successful wedding without the undue stress Michelle inflicts. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.

I would like to reach out to you and apologize for any miscommunication that might have occurred. I would have apologized directly to you had you signed your review. I cannot refute your OPINION, but I can argue about your FACTS. Marianmade Farm has 13 acres of parking that accommodates hundreds of cars. Our contracts do not, and never have, required the use of a trolley, although I believe it to be a safe and convenient option for your guests when alcohol is served. Because you are deciding to not identify yourself, I cannot reach out to your bartender or your caterer, as they would be the only vendors that have to meet my contractual requirements

I would recommend Michelle Peele from marianmade farm 10,000 times over. She was a lucky find for us as we booked her only about 6 months (maybe even less) before our wedding. Right away I knew she was an perfect match for my vision of a rustic outdoor Maine Summer wedding. She even took some of my grandmother's wedding dress and wrapped it around the handle of my bridal bouquet. Each bridesmaid bouquet was slightly different and unique. One week before the wedding we had an epiphany about our centerpieces - we did not have enough on them! I contacted Michelle at 7:30am, and heard back by 8:15am (even though she was in the midst of a wedding and a funeral) with a plan and reassurance that she had me and my flowers under control. She provided the chuppah, and hung little glass bottles with flowers from it to create a magical look for us to get married under. Her dedication to her work is impeccable, and it is so great to know that the flowers were locally sourced from Michelle's wonderful farm. She was absolutely amazing.

Getting married at Marianmade Farm was the BEST decision we ever made! The place is absolutely stunning and a visit there will take your breath away. We took full advantage of the weekend rental with a camp fire and s'mores for our guests on Friday night, our ceremony and celebration on Saturday, and a brunch for everyone on Sunday. If you are looking for an intimate, elegant, down-to-earth, and beautiful place to get married- look no further!

I was really nervous about picking a florist because I am a novice when it comes to flowers and there are so many options I didn't even know where to start. I knew Michelle was 'the one' when I met her. I love that she grows flowers that she uses in her bouquets, that she is a true artist, that she has a variety of vases and other rustic hardware that you get to choose from (but be sure she gets them back!), and most importantly I loved that she was able to figure out exactly what I wanted even if I didn't. I told her I wanted happy, bright flowers... sent her a bunch of pictures of my likes and dislikes from online searches and then she created the most beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, center pieces, and the most amazing chuppah. It was so absolutely perfect.

My mom was a bit nervous because we had no idea what the arrangements were going to look like- we put our faith in Michelle and boy did she deliver. We couldn't have been more happy. Every little detail was absolutely beautiful!!

I should also mention that about a month before the wedding I asked her if she could get a specific flower that I wanted to wear in my hair- and also incorporate them into the bouquets- and she came through. Very flexible and accommodating!

Thank you Michelle!!!

It was an honor to be the very first wedding at Marianmade Farm. The entire day was a dream.

The ceremony meadow overlooks the Sheepscot river, with cushioned wooden benches for the guests. (In case of rain, the ceremony can be in the barn if your group is small enough. Luckily the weather held out for us) It was a beautiful setting, and we even got a rainbow and a pretty sunset at the end of the evening.

Inside the barn, there are twinkling globe lights strung from the rafters, lavender bunches hanging to dry, and decorative details that make it special. The pickled wood and farm tables are distinctive, simple, and elegant, but make for a perfect start to whatever theme you imagine. There were table runners that we rented from the farm, which made things easy. (Note that you do need to rent your own chairs). We used the Bose sound dock for reception music, which had great sound and filled the whole space. There are 2 restrooms for guests as well.

The bridal "changing cottage" was the perfect spot to get ready with my bridesmaids. It's right next to the barn so you can easily slip away during the reception if need be, and you also have a direct view of the ceremony area so you can see when it's time to enter. There's a private bathroom (including mirrors and plug for hair tools), and a room with comfortable plush chairs and lovely decor. Hooks to hang your dresses, cubbies to put belongings, and a full-length mirror.

Michelle Peele did a fabulous job with the flowers. I didn't give her much direction because she is so creative and talented that I just wanted to see what she'd dream up. She created breathtaking bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony flowers, and table arrangements, including lush wildflowers and succulents. The bouquets were tied together with colorful ribbon. Her details were especially thoughtful-- she suggested that my fiance and I hand flowers to our moms once I walked up the aisle, and she created special little arrangements for them. Brava!

Michelle is wonderful. I know little to nothing about flowers, and when I first spoke with her she was able to help me figure out what look I wanted (not rustic, but not 'florist'), what we could use for table arrangements, what to use to decorate the ceremony, and what would make good non-floral boutonnieres. Her prices are very reasonable, and she delivers, sets up, and picks up everything herself. Everything was beautiful and several people commented on how lovely the flowers were.

If you want unique, fabulous arrangements then look no further. Michelle from Marianmade Farm was fantastic to work with! She was extremely responsive from the first time I contacted her. Michelle creates gorgeous and very unique floral arrangements with flowers grown on her farm in Wiscasset. She has a variety of unique containers. My arrangements were in mercury glass which looked gorgeous with the hydrangeas and blue lavendar she used, and fit very well with the vintage feel of my location. She also has milk glass, french boxes, among other unique ideas. My aisle was beautiful. She hung bright blue hydrangeas in small glass bottles, from Shepherd's crooks along the aisle, and then created two beautiful arrangements atop pillars (which she also provided) for where we stood to exchange our vows. She even stayed to move the flowers from our ceremony location to inside where our reception was. My husband and his groomsmen appreciated her "manly" boutonnieres. They went perfectly with their tuxes. You get so much for your money when you work with Michelle. Book her now!

I would highly recommend Michelle from Marianmade Farm! She created absolutely gorgeous flowers arrangements for our wedding - more beautiful than anything I had imagined. She listened to what my vision was of the wedding (a rustic look, with wildflowers and lavender) and made it happen. We had a lot of out-of-the-ordinary requests, such as having flowers hanging from our arbor, delineating the outdoor aisle, and tucked into our guests’ napkins. She delivered on all of these requests in addition to the more traditional ones of bouquets, boutonnieres, and table arrangements. All of my bridesmaids and many of my guests commented on how gorgeous the flowers were. If you are having a wedding in Maine (or North Carolina, where Michelle also works), definitely consider Marianmade Farm!
