We got married at the Marriott North Austin in La Frontera. Kristen Cepak was our coordinator and she is the best. If you are short of a vendor she knows a lot of people. She is very quick on her toes and is outstanding. And the food from the River City Grille, unbelievable. The best food ever for a wedding. Thanks.

This place blew us away! We had our reception in the brand new Glass Oaks Ballroom (awesome - you have to see it yourself). The value was incredible because we had it on a Sunday. No time limits (really), free tasting, real silver utensils, white glove service, no room fee - you pay per person (ours was only $33pp plus tax and service fee). The attention to detail and level of service would have been the same if we had spent $25K, and we didn't have to spend half that! They would have done the reception outdoors or in the hall for free (or a very low fee), but we wanted to get married in a church. We got discounted rooms for our out-of-town guests and they let us use their state of the art sound system for $150, or something.... Our DJ was a good friend and only needed a computer/ipod hook up. We did a slide show using one of the walls as a screen and rented a projector from someone on Craigslist - super cheap. We also had a cash bar (only $150 for the night) and prepaid for tickets that sat at the bar in case people wanted to use them (some guests bought their own drinks). This reception looked like it cost over $30K and we did it all for under $10K.
