I was very happy with Maria and the Artisan up until the actual wedding day. Our wedding was scheduled for 1:30pm. She had called me the day before our wedding and I had told her we would be there around 12:45ish. This might be partly my fault for not verifying this, but I assumed that around 30 minutes before the ceremony start time, our guests would be seated in the garden. So I made a CD of music to play while they were waiting that was around 30 minutes long. Well, long story short, Maria didn't even show up until around 1. She was telling DH that they couldn't let our guests into the garden because of the heat (it was like 80 degrees, not hot for Vegas), but I overheard her several times saying that garden wasn't even setup yet. At this point, I was livid but trying to keep it all together. I was also trying to not let DH or his family see me before the wedding and trying to handle things and getting very frustrated. Luckily I had my best friend with me to keep me calm. Finally about 1:25 Maria came in and said everyone was seated and that she would turn the seating music on. I told her just not to worry about it and to just turn my music on that I wanted to walk down the aisle to. After this everything was all good because I wasn't worried about any of that stuff, just getting married. Looking back now, I guess it all wasn't all that big of a deal, but at the time I was very stressed out over it and feel it could have all been avoided if the Artisan would have been better prepared. Especially since she knew what time we would be arriving. This is why I gave them a C.

The wedding location is absolutely stunning. It truly is a secret in Las Vegas that is approximately a block away from the Strip. You'll feel as though you've been swept away into another place as there are no signs of gambling in the entire resort. Maria, the coordinator, was highly receptive, communicative and never hesitated answering our questions. When we arrived, the groom and all of the party was swept to the bar for complimentary wine while the girls and I were able to relax in our own dressing room.

It was truly an amazing experience and I am so glad we chose the Artisan. You won't be disappointed!

The Artisan is beautiful, yes, but the staff there is horrible. The wedding coordinator is completely unprofessional. She was late for every single meeting we ever had. She was late from an hour to 20 minutes. She was rude to my Husband and I and tried to bully us into spending money on services we weren't using because we sourced them elsewhere. She seemed completely exasperated and unfriendly with us. She said she would explain things to my wedding party on the day of. She wasn't helpful and she was rude to them. They went through the ceremony confused. Just as I was about to start walking down the aisle her assistant stepped on my wedding dress so hard I was jerked backwards and almost fell over. She just looked at me and didn't even apologize.

The minister was very nice, he did a good job with the ceremony.

Half of the people at my reception liked the food, half of them didn't. They didn't have any of their seafood (which if you look at their menu is a good portion) because their shipment was running late.

We were married at the Chapel at the Artisan, which was the most unique and beautiful that I had ever seen photos of in Las Vegas (had never been before). All of our planning was done via email and telephone. We arrived on a private bus with all of our guests in tow. The location is not on the strip so you may want to consider transportation for your guests also. As soon as I walked in the doors my fears were gone, it was exactly as gorgeous as the photos were. We arrived a little bit late due to some of the guests, not being outside of their hotels at the correct time, which seemed to throw off the wedding chapel staff, but I did know that there were no more weddings after mine. The service was short and sweet. We had a package with their photographer a certain number of photos to be taken and burned on a CD. After the ceremony the staff ushered the guests into the Artisan Bar, where they were butler passed Champagne and Hors D'oeuvres.......this gave us some time with the photographer to take some shots, and some time to sit in front of his computer and pick out which pics we wanted on the disc. We then joined our guests in the bar, while he was burning the CD. After that we hopped back on our bus for the rest of our Vegas Wedding.
