My wedding was 2/11/2011. We began visiting Mens Wearhouse 1 year before. We have groomsmen in various sizes and wanted to ensure that they all could be fitted accordingly.
2 days before the wedding we were notified that all were in. They went to pick up but all had to be refitted for one thin or another. Ultimately, the groom had to bepinned in the iseams of his slacks right before the wedding because they resent the same pants! None of the groomsmen were happy with their fit. We won't do them every again!

If I recommed anything in the wedding world, it would to NOT go to this horrible place. Not only is it tiny with a limited selection, they are also rude and extrememly unhelpful.

We went in there in the am about a week before our wedding date. My husband brought one of the groomsmen so that he could use him as an example to pick their tuxes as he was going to get a different style then they did. I wish we would have never gone.

1) you cannot try anything on. No...seriously. Nothing. You won't know if it looks good until you've paid and they've fitted it to you. Simply, if you don't like it, too bad. You've already paid.

2) They do NOT offer any sort of help. If you ask, you get an eye roll and a few reluctant words. We were so lost...we don't know anything about tuxedos! My husband has broad shoulders, so we wanted to find a tux that would not make them broader. After 10 minutes of asking what tux would be best for our situation, the young girl came from behind the counter, ripped a jacket off a manequin that he had been looking at and said "here". That's it. End of story. Thats all she did to help. I asked her if the other Mens Warehouses were larger and she replied "no they have no the same stuff". I said to my husband, " I dont know the other one by the mall looks a lot larger" . She butted in and said "You can go there if you want but you will find the same thing" Her attitude disgusted me. We were already so stressed, we did NOT need anymore problems, especially from some burn--out employee with an attitude problem. We ended up getting one tux there because the measurements were done, but I took the rest to another Mens Warehouse (not much better). I would stay away from the company completely.

We decided to rent tuxedos at Men's Wearhouse because I got an offer in the mail saying if 3 of your groomsmen rent, you can get yours for free. The rentals are kind of pricey and costs each groomsmen about $120 for the Calvin Klein brand. The problem is that you can't really tailor the rentals and although the suit fit me well, the shirt underneath and the pants didn't fit too well. The tie is also a clip on so I wasn't too happy about that. In the end, I bought a tie and a shirt underneath so it fit me better but my groomsmen were ok with the rentals. I guess if you will never wear a tux again, it's worth it to rent but if you plan on wearing it again, it might be a better idea to just buy one that fits you well.

We went through Mens Wearhouse for the guys tuxedos since we had out of town people in our wedding party. I was pleased with everything except the ring bearer's tux. The shirt was way to big along with the vest, but the jacket was too small. I didn't even realize how bad it looked on him until I looked at my wedding pictures. I would recommend Men's Wearhouse, just make sure you have everyone try everything on before hand, and make sure they button every button that needs to be buttoned for the wedding day.
Take advantage of the discounts they offer. We had 5 groomsmen, a ring bearer, and 2 fathers who bought tuxedos, so the grooms tux was FREE. The manager was also able to get all the tux's in two days prior to the wedding to accomodate the Bachelor Party that was going on the day before the wedding. One less thing we had to worry about.

The people at the store stared at us for about 30 min before helping us and then proceeded to have a personal conversation while trying to take our information. It took way longer than it should have to order tuxedos!

They were very nice and when we went to pick out the tux and get my husband fitted we didn't have to wait at all. One of my husbands groomsmen lives in VA, and he had no problems picking up his tux for our wedding. Another plus is that they have colors that match colors from davids bridal.
