Absolutely wonderful! Our experience with the Marriott was so wonderful. Their customer service was amazing. They were so accommodating with all our requests and made sure we were set up exactly how we needed them to be. They were wonderful interacting with our guests and made sure our guests stay (and our stay) was very warm and welcoming. Blocking off rooms with them was by far the best choice. Especially with such an unbeatable price. We couldn't be happier and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to block rooms for a wedding.

Absolutely wonderful! Our experience with the Marriott was so wonderful. Their customer service was amazing. They were so accommodating with all our requests and made sure we were set up exactly how we needed them to be. I will clarify this is by no means cheap, but so worth it especially since your food and bar are taken care of along with the venue. For a downtown venue I found their minimums very reasonable and they have perks that other, pricier and less comfortable venues don't. Being that it is a hotel they blocked rooms for our guests at a discounted price. We were not responsible for paying for rooms not booked, they put them back into circulation if your guests don't book them. Location is awesome, view is great. I received tons of compliments on the food at my wedding, which I must say was even better than it was at the tasting. The event coordinator was on top of everything, the event went smoothly, she answered every question, responded to my every need and last minute changes. We got complimentary mimosas for all the ladies while we were having our hair and makeup done before going to the church. My husband and I got a complimentary two level suite for the night, with a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries awaiting us at the end of the reception. Our parents got their rooms upgraded to suites for the same discount price of the regular rooms. The only thing I can say was a bit annoying was waiting for elevators as they are remodeling some and they seem to have a LOT of conventions and meetings there. But I cannot blame them for being busy. Even when I went back to pick up some props three days after my event I found that the concierge that saw me only twice, knew exactly who I was and remembered me by name. I cannot say it enough service was spectacular.

We had our wedding at the Marriott City Center and it was great! The pricing was amazing compared to all the other downtown Minneapolis venues. We payed under $10K for the venue while for ALL others it was between $15-60K.

Our events coordinator, Garfield was very helpful and professional. He took us out to breakfast and talked to us about our wedding. Everything was very well planned out and he was very flexible with our needs.

Garfield was also very responsive. I sent him an email at 3 am on a Saturday morning and I got a response back in 5 minutes.

They did screw up on a couple of things, but I understand no one is perfect. The mistakes were minor, nothing significant.
