Great venue in a historic building. VERY fair prices compared to what I was seeing elsewhere, though I got married on a weekday evening (which I highly recommend--much better prices for the venue, DJ, bartender...)
We had 40 guests, and the upstairs conference room was perfect for the ceremony. There are windows throughout and I felt I didn't need to add much to the view. Chairs were "arched" as you walked into the room, and we were in front of a window. Afterwards, everybody just needed to go downstairs for the reception. Perfect!
The ballroom is gorgeous, with plenty of space. Again: windows and surrounding trees make for a gorgeous back drop.
Tables and chairs were provided. I wanted more of a lounge-y vibe for our reception, so I rented a few cocktail tables to set up in the middle of the floor, and the seating/cake/DJ tables were along the walls. It made for an "open" feel, and encouraged people to walk around and mingle.
What I particularly loved about this place:
* Megan was very helpful and professional. There's always a contact person available, from set-up to breakdown
* You can get your own caterer, as well as your own bartender/server, and bring your own alcohol. This saves big $$!
* Megan was very accommodating when the caterer & bartender came for a layout check & to determine the plan
* A few vendors have keys to the venue. We went with Pederson's (also in south Seattle), and drop-off/pick up was done. Mt. Baker was very accommodating in allowing drop-off the night before & pick-up the day after--also saved $$.
* Street parking for guests was very easy. No zoning restrictions. Transit: ~1 mile from lightrail.
* We really wanted our dog to be included in our big day. "No problem." That sealed the deal for us!
If you're looking for a tasteful-yet-affordable venue, go check them out. It's a beautiful spot with many advantages!

My husband and I are so happy we found Mount Baker Community Clubhouse for our wedding. I had gone through about 12 venues already, and they were way out of budget or had some sort of catch. Then I went through yelp and found MBCC. They had this amazing offer I couldn't refuse, no catch! We even lucked out and had the venue the night before for our rehearsal and dinner, which allowed us to set up the night before!

I loved the venue, it really allowed me to create the wedding I wanted. I was able to bring in all of my decorations and turn it into something I dreamed. Sky is the limit, ladies! MBCC just makes your dreams a little more budget friendly :)
