Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Yes, I am very comfortable photographing indoor and outdoors. I have several flashes and studio lights for extreme lighting conditions.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I use digital, but would be capable of using film if needed.
How many photographers do you work with?
I bring 1 second shooter. A few times a wedding has merited more photographers.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, I always guarantee I will be the primary photographer at the event.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I do not book more than one event in a day. I will consider booking more than one event in a weekend depending on locations and time of year.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I work with several other photographers in case of an emergency on the day of the event.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I bring my main gear and all of my back-up gear. If extra lighting is needed, I will bring that as well.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, I always have back-up cameras and lenses.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I have packages that have hourly rates and packages with a full day.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I am available to photograph extra hours, it is $350 an hour with a package.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I do require the client pay for a meal for more than 4 hours of photographing. The meal is the only break I take.
Do you charge for travel?
I charge for travel if it is 50 miles outside of Denver, Colorado.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
2-3 weeks, depending on the size of the event.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
The proofs will be posted online after their online album is posted.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The online proofs are up for 6 months.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I will retain the copyright depending on the package purchased.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
I do reserve the right to publish the photos. I have made exceptions in certain cases.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
I so provide digital files.
Will images be available for viewing online?
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer Flush Mount Albums and Magazine Albums.
When will the client get the final album?
They will receive the album 3 weeks after they have made the final revisions.
