We capture your special day for eternity! Custom video packages tailored to meet any budget. Professional High Definition videography using multiple cameras. We specialize in capturing the unique chemistry between the bride and groom. We don't simply film your wedding - we capture the magic!

We capture the joy of your big day without being intrusive. We do not stage any shots, much preferring to portray the spontanaity of your wedding, and striving to capture all of the most amazing moments, from start to finish. We stay close enough to capture everything, but far enough away to let it all happen. Weddings can be stressful, so we try to alleviate some of that stress for you by being fun, flexible, and easy to work with. Our stress free filming style will help you feel relaxed.

We have an eye for beauty and we have an uncanny ability to catch all the sentimentality, romance, fun and magic of your day.

We then create a film which caters to your personality and portrays the unique magic of your wedding.

The finished product is much better described as a film rather than a wedding video. We incorporate artistry and cinematography to provide you with a beautiful representation of your wedding day. Our goal is to preserve your special memories in such a way that you will treasure the film forever.

We love consulting with our clients and make ourselves completely available throughout the entire wedding planning process. No question is too trivial or insignificant. We believe that communication is vital to providing you with the excellence you deserve.

Interview With Larry Dozier - Nishna Video Pro

Tell us about your company, how did you get started?

Well, that's kind of a long story – but I'll try to give you the brief version. I work as a substance abuse counselor and my wife is going to school to learn sign language with the intention of becoming a deaf interpreter. Both of us actually have strong backgrounds in multimedia, along with a passion for storytelling. We're currently setting up a nonprofit organization with some other people which will produce informational films for people who are being treated for substance abuse problems. We've been looking for ways to help fund our nonprofit organization using our existing talents and equipment. Wedding videography appeared to be a fun and intriguing choice. We filmed a few weddings for free just to get our feet wet and absolutely loved it. There's just something about a wedding which renews a person's optimism and hope. Being able to be a small part of so many people's lives, and to be there at that most significant moment in a person's life – and to capture that moment on film – there's nothing like it. To successfully capture that special glance between the bride and groom, to record the quivering voice of a nervous bride as she repeats her vows, to get a close-up of a father face and capture the feelings of pride and hope and fear as he gives away his little girl - to not get caught up in the passion of this - how can you not?

What are some things couples should look for when looking for a videographer?

I'm sure you can find any number of checklists online that will tell you to look for technical expertise, experience with various venues, references, etc. these are all great, and important, but your wedding is more than just an event to capture on film. A wedding is a living, breathing, pulsating entity of its own – having its own unique character and its own unique magic. The task of a wedding videographer is to capture the magic and the essence and the unique character of that one special moment in time. To be able to do that is a gift. It's important for your videographer to have equipment and insurance and references. But that's not enough. Your videographer must have "the gift".

What is your favorite part of the day to capture?

I don't think I can come up with a standard answer which applies to all weddings. Every wedding is unique. Each wedding has its own particular moment which stands out above all others. We try to capture as much of the spontaneity as we can because that's when the magic of that particular wedding is most apparent. There's a chemistry for each wedding, and if you pay close enough attention and allow yourself to get caught up in the spirit of that particular wedding, it's easy to capture the magic and to capture the magical moments.

How do you feel videography has changed in the last few years?

Wedding videography has matured and evolved a great deal over the last several years. Rather than simply recording the wedding ceremony itself, good wedding videographers are striving to produce what could more aptly be referred to as film rather than video. There have been a lot of advancements in technology – which is really great – but there has also been an overall movement toward incorporating good film making technique as well.

Do you have advice for wedding videographers just starting out?

First off, if you don't enjoy being around people this definitely is not the job for you. In order to capture the magic, you have to be able to feel the magic. That only happens if you have a genuine love for people and for life and for the experiences of life. My next bit of advice is to learn your craft well. There's a huge body of knowledge available to you on every facet of this job. Learn, learn, learn. Finally, it's essential to build in technical redundancy. You only get one shot at filming this event – there are no do-overs. We always use at least two cameras and we always use two different devices for capturing the audio. Better safe than sorry.

If you were to make a blooper reel, what moment that you’ve captured would make us laugh the most?

I'm not telling. Weddings are hectic and stressful and chaotic. There are always going to be unforeseen challenges, and there are going to be embarrassing moments. Most of the time, those moments get left on the cutting room floor. Not because they are embarrassing so much as because they don't advance the storyline. Remember, we tell a story. The main theme of our story is the unique chemistry between man and wife. Uncle Bob doing a face plant into the wedding cake because he has had too many drinks doesn't help to tell the story. If a couple requests that we include an embarrassing moment, we're always happy to oblige.

What is the most challenging part of your job?

I have to say that the most challenging part of being a wedding videographer is finding balance. On the one hand, it's essential that you be in the right place at the right time in order to get the shot. On the other hand, you try to stay as invisible and unintrusive as possible in order to keep yourself from being part of the story. Finding the right balance between these two is always challenging and it's always different with each wedding. The reception is usually the trickiest. This is where a lot of the magic happens and is also where most of the best unscripted and spontaneous moments happen as well. The trick for a wedding videographer is to capture those moments but not to be a dampening influence on the festivity. We have to be close enough to capture the moment but invisible enough to let the moment happen. Read less

Thank you Larry and Tammy for capturing our big day on video for us! We were somewhat undecided on whether we wanted a videographer or not, but some people we talked to really emphasized how much fun the videos are to watch years later. After seeing these videos we are so happy that we decided to go with you guys. The high quality videos are very well assembled and are so much fun to watch. We especially love the highlight video and are so thrilled with the way everything turned out. It was a pleasure working with both of you!
