I am so glad I booked Brooke for my wedding! I seemed to have endless questions while wedding planning, and Brooke answered within minutes every time I emailed her! Leading up to the wedding, she coordinated all the day-of details and took care of the all the other vendors. It felt so good to not have to worry about anything. At the venue, she was on top of everything! Even when we discovered that our marriage license was left back at home, her assistant drove all the way across the valley to our home to find it and had it ready for us by the end of the ceremony. But the most amazing part is not just the organizing and coordinating, but how well she took care of the flare-ups and the crazy relatives. I was amazed by how calmly and quickly she handeled them. I am so glad I booked Brooke for my wedding! I seemed to have endless questions while wedding planning, and Brooke answered within minutes every time I emailed her! Leading up to the wedding, she coordinated all the day-of details and took care of the all the other vendors. It felt so good to not have to worry about anything. At the venue, she was on top of everything! I could not have had a wedding without a wedding planner, and Brooke Avishay and her team were at the top of their game. Brooke has this calm energy that made it a pleasure to work with her and I knew that I could trust her to handle everything she said she would. She is so competent and good at her job. Every question or concern I had she had an answer or a solution. On the day of the event my florist sent the wrong flowers to the hotel for the bridesmaids hair and she was there in an hour with new flowers to save the day. We forgot the flower girl baskets at the hotel and the next thing I knew she was repurposing some other containers that ended up looking really cute. She was organized, professional, and made the day flow so nicely even when little hiccups occurred. Most of all she gave me peace of mind and the ability to enjoy my own event. At the end of the night we were all able to get in the limo and leave immediately all the clean up was done and handled like a dream!!

I can't even begin to describe how crucial Brooke was to the success of our wedding. I was looking at a few other coordinators in the beginning but once Brooke and I met, I knew she was the one for us! She is so upbeat, helpful, and responsive. Literally every email was answered in less than 1 minute. It became a running joke between my fiance and I, we would send an email and stare at the phone waiting for her reply to come back in less than a minute.

Our wedding weekend called for some serious rain and we were planning to have half of our wedding outdoors and pictures on the beach. Brooke coordinated everything with our vendors and the site and told us not to worry about a thing. Brooke had a plan A, plan, B, and plan C and told us she woul dmake a game time decision depending on the weather that day. She made sure everyone was on time and made some last minute adjustments that ended up giving us more time to dance and party.

I must add that we had a pretty complicated wedding to coordinate as it was in multiple locations, had guest transportation, wedding party transportation, space constraints, and rainy weather for an outdoor location. This wedding could have been disastrous and stressful but instead it was just perfect because of Brooke.

My fiance and I both agree that this was the best wedding money we spent and knowing all that Brooke does, we probably would have paid double, or even triple her fee.

Brooke is amazing. That about sums it up, however I feel like I could write a novel about everything Brooke did to make our dream wedding come true. Her calm nature is perfect for handling the roller coaster that comes with planning and executing a wedding.

I think it's important to note that when we first signed with Brooke it was for day-of coordination, but after a couple of months of working with her, we knew we needed Brooke and Orange Blossom Events to help us with EVERYTHING. Brooke and her team made the whole process easy -- and fun!

Christy Heng, on the OB team, also designed our invitations and all of our materials for the wedding. She did an amazing job creating exactly what we wanted and everything was BEAUTIFUL. Including a hanging seating assignment! Love it!

When it came down to the week of the wedding, we were able to rest assured on the day-of that everything would be perfect - and it was!! Literally everything went off without a hitch! The room was set up to perfection and my husband and I didn't even have to lift a finger! Brooke even put the final touches on our favors for us the night before the wedding!!! (We had made candles for everyone but didn't have the time or patience to get them into the boxes with labels in time for Saturday. Brooke took care of it without question.)

It's been 20 days since we have been married and my husband and I are still talking about how hiring Brooke was the best thing we could have done for ourselves for our wedding day!

From the first day that we signed the contract till the wedding day, Brooke delivered and MORE. She answered all my emails in less than 5 minutes and made sure I was on top of my wedding planning. She was always so available to answer any questions or concerns I had. When I needed vendors for my wedding shower or other things, she had an answer for me in no time. The month before the wedding, I was feeling extremely overwhelmed and Brooke came to the rescue! Her team designed my seating cards, menus, seating chart and programs. I wanted to add more details to our programs and she offered to do them for me. Brooke even offered to do my errands for me if I needed her to. She is amazing!

Now for the actual wedding day...Brooke told me that all I needed to do was get ready and show up to my wedding day. As I reflect on our wedding day, that is seriously all I had to do because Brooke handled EVERYTHING. She coordinated well with our church coordinator and ensured that everything was going as planned. When I walked into our reception venue, I was floored. Brooke created what we had envisioned. It was like walking into a dream...literally! At the end of the night, our car was parked in front, all packed and ready to go. We are still shaking our heads in amazement at what Brooke did for us on our wedding day. We love her! There are still not enough words or thanks we can give her for our wedding day success!

I always planned on getting married in California where I grew up. The only dilemma that I faced when my husband and I got engaged was that we lived in New York City. After our first phone conversation, I knew that we had to hire her. After talking with several other wedding planners, Brooke stood out amongst the rest. We hired her for our day of coordinator, however she was so much more! She literally helped us plan our entire wedding. Being a control freak, I wanted to interview and book all our vendors. I always ran ideas and different vendors I thought I would like by her and she always let me have my opinion and then kindly recommended other vendors that ended up being more professional and many times more cost effective. In the end I booked everyone she recommended. We hired her a year in advance and I definitely talked to her at least once a month. If you’re considering hiring Orange Blossom Special Events, please, just do it! My husband and I were initially hesitant about hiring a day-of-coordinator for a few reasons: 1. We had this crazy idea that we could do it all ourselves 2. We had not planned on the additional expense. First, we physically could not do everything ourselves. Second, Brooke saved us money by referring us to great vendors who gave us great rates. Plus, Brooke is worth 10 times her fee. Hiring Orange Blossom Special Events was the single best decision we made for our wedding. Even my husband is still beaming about how wonderful she was and what a great decision it was to hire her.
Brooke is an expert in every aspect of wedding planning and execution and has great ideas and advice. She is also extremely punctual and responsive. Every email was answered within a matter of minutes, or at the most a couple of hours which I really appreciated. If a concern came up in my mind that I wanted immediate resolution on, Brooke was there to help and put my mind at ease. She, as a person, is cheerful, pleasant, calming and extremely professional and knowledgeable. Despite all of my MANY silly questions and random thoughts, I never felt like I was a burden to her or that she was judging my silliness.
I can’t express enough gratitude to Brooke for making our wedding the most special day. Everything was flawless and I had no worries or concerns the entire time because I knew she was there taking care of every aspect of the day. Brooke and her team were AMAZING. I planned my wedding long distance (SF to LA). I was (or still am) a Type-A, perfectionist bride... For my wedding, I wanted nothing less than perfect and over the top :) When I met Brooke, we instantly clicked and loved her personality and just how organized she was. ...I felt like Type B next to her. hahah

Brooke has always been one step ahead, calm, prompt and extremely responsiveness.

My wedding went so smooth. From the rehearsal the night before, getting ready and coordinating the entire day... I felt so confident and comfortable that even with all my meticulous planning and details... it was now in the best of hands.

My husband and I hired Brooke to be our day-of coordinator for our wedding. She was very attentive and always responded to our e-mails immediately. She answered all of our questions and gave us good suggestions for the issues we presented to her. Even after the wedding was over, we had questions and she responded right away to our e-mails. To me, that is a sign that she wants to please her clients and actually cares about her job, instead of just working hard up until the moment she's been paid.

Most of the vendors Brooke suggested to us were great, with the exception of our catering company, Tender Greens. I've reviewed Tender Greens as well (Hollywood and Pasadena locations) and I would not recommend using them to cater your wedding.

I wish I could give Brooke 10 stars!!! She is truly amazing! We hired her as a day of coordinator, but we got so much more than that. She is available any time you need her, literally. Every time I emailed her I got an email back within minutes!! If you are planning your wedding, you understand how much that quick response means to you. On top of that, she is extremely knowledgeable about the industry and has tons of experience so she is able to handle any question or issue with ease. She provides you with vendors referrals, ideas related to your theme and all the advice that you need. She really makes it so EASY!! When we had our walk through with the venue, she remembered all the questions I had asked her and made sure to address them with our venue. Also, she asked that they reach out to her for everything so that I didn't need to stress or worry. AMAZING!!!

On the day of our rehearsal, I was anticipating some chaos since that is what I've experienced with other weddings; however, Brooke made it all so seamless and easy. Even the on-site manager commented how gracefully Brooke coordinated the entire process.

The day of our wedding was simply magically and I owe it ALL to Brooke!! Not only did she manage all the deliveries, vendor questions, catering logistics and set up, but she also checked-in with me throughout the day and kept me extremely calm. Our wedding was amazing and I couldn't believe how effortlessly everything flowed from beginning to end.

It's now been six months since our wedding and people are still reaching out to us to get Brooke's information because they want to refer her to everyone they know. Honestly, the best thing you can do for yourself is to hire Brooke. You will be so happy that you did!!!

Working with Brooke was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. She is a joy to work with and amazing at what she does.

We live in Minneapolis, but had a destination wedding (for over 100 people) with a traditional Indian ceremony in Santa Monica – without any family living in LA. Once we had found a site, we knew that we would need a planner to help manage the details and to be on location closer to the date.

Here is what you can expect from Brooke:
• Fast, open communication. Brooke answers e-mails scarily quickly and is always available for a phone call or email conversation. Many other planners are only available in the months before your wedding or for a communication package fee- which I thought was absurd.
• A sunny disposition and easy going demeanor… it’s clear Brooke loves what she does, and she works with all different personalities very easily. We had some strong personalities (myself included) involved in our planning and she helped us navigate and find solutions that made everyone happy while remaining calm and professional.
• You will save money. Brooke was able to use her knowledge and connections to help us save an amazing amount of money.
o She used her knowledge of the industry and connections to find us smaller, local vendors we would have never found ourselves that were much less expensive than the typical vendors
o She worked with our caterer to create a menu that fit our budget and our atypical menu requests… something we had been unable to get them to understand until she stepped in
o Some of our vendors gave us discounts simply because she asked…
o Also- she was so on top of things that we were able to cancel a planned wedding planning trip to CA- saving even more money!
• You will save time. She helped us focus our efforts and took on quite a bit of work right before the wedding… running some errands, working on site set-ups, etc. Without a planner, our families would have been running ragged around an unfamiliar city; instead, they got to have a wonderful vacation with our wedding at the end of it!
• She will be involved in your planning and thought processes… at the end of planning, when I was stressed out and thinking I needed to add more and more, she was able to remind me of what we initially wanted and put everything back into perspective for me. This was so beneficial.
• She will care… she took the time to understand our traditional Hindu ceremony, she scrambled to order extra champagne when it ran low because she knew we loved champagne, and she will check in with you after to see how you are doing.

Short of getting married, hiring Brooke will be the best wedding related decision you can make. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

My husband & I used Orange Blossom Special Events for our day-of wedding coordinating services. We had the pleasure of working with Christy Heng, who was so very sweet, professional, calm, and helpful throughout the entire process. Though we paid for "day-of" wedding coordinating, we actually got more than what we paid for. Christy helped us the month before and was nice enough to accompany me to my consultation with my florists (where she sat for 2+hrs!), completed a very thorough walk-through of the venue beforehand, and also coordinated our rehearsal. On the day of our wedding, she did such an amazing job coordinating our ceremony & reception and all the big & little things that evening! She made me feel calm and relaxed the entire day & coordinated our wedding so seamlessly that many people didn't even know we had a coordinator! One other thing is that Christy was always available by phone & so responsive to any question I had as an anxious bride. She was amazing & I am truly grateful that we hired Orange Blossom to coordinate our wedding.

Of course, we didnt think we needed a wedding coordinator. We had most of our vendors in place and weren't planning an elaborate celebration. And yet, as the day approached, we were starting to worry about how we would manage all the details on the day of our wedding. We found Brooke's company via the website of our officiant, setup a meeting and never looked back. I can honestly say that, from the first meeting with Brooke, I stopped worrying because I knew my wedding was in good hands. Despite only contracting for "day of" services, Brooke came to our final meeting at our venue and coordinated our rehearsal. She picked up all our ceremony/reception items 2 days before the wedding and was always readily available to answer our questions via email. She was in close text and phone contact on the day of our wedding and made a seamless transition when our outdoor ceremony was rained off and had to be moved indoors. The LAFD has strict guidelines for the use of indoor candles and, when our floral centerpieces were bigger than expected, Brooke fixed the problem so we could still have candles at our reception. She coordinated our event timeline perfectly and was readily available, yet unobtrusive, throughout our entire wedding. At the end of the evening, we returned to our room to find all our gifts stacked neatly in the closet, rose petals scattered on the bed and candles flickering throughout the room. Brooke was recommended to us by a family friend.  We knew from the minute we started talking to her that she would be perfect for us.  She was so friendly and organized, which was such a nice change from other LA vendors that we had talked to.  She was so much more than we expected from our day of coordinator.  She was extremely organized and on top of everything, and she responded to all of our emails in record time (seriously, I'm talking within five minutes every time). She answered countless questions that we had, had our linens delivered directly to her and was able to get us a discount on them, came to our house and picked up all of our decor a few days before the wedding, took it all to the venue, and set everything up exactly as i had imagined it.  She even filled every one of our favor jars with m&ms the night before the wedding.  She coordinated with all of our vendors, set up a timeline and made sure it was followed to the minute.  She gave me great decor ideas.  I was so confident that Brooke would make sure the day went smoothly that I was not nervous at all on the wedding day.  And I was right, the day went by without a glitch.  I cannot give Brooke enough praise!  She really was a lifesaver, and really made our wedding day the absolute best day it could be.

The day of my wedding, many people told me: “You are the calmest bride I have ever seen.” This came from not only friends and family, but also from seasoned wedding veterans, like my makeup artist.

The reason? Brooke. Plain and simple, hiring her was the best decision we made during our planning process, and my only regret is that we didn’t bring her on board sooner. I talked to several other planners and got quotes from them, and here’s why we picked Brooke:

1. She is fast and responsive. With other planners, it took half a day or a full day to get a response. No doubt they were busy with lots of other clients, but I had already dealt with a couple slow-responding vendors and did not want to deal with that in a planner. Brooke responded very quickly, and this level of service—from the moment we started communicating until two days after the wedding when she dropped off some cake stands—never waned. We were always amazed when, at some random hour of the night we’d send her an email, we’d get a response right away.
2. Her service packages are very reasonable. She worked with us to custom-design a package based on our needs. The value for what we got was excellent. She executed beautifully, and most importantly, she gave us peace of mind.
3. She immediately understood our aesthetic. Granted, I did put together a 41-page deck of my ideas, but she really “got” our style down perfectly. Moreover, she helped refine and improve the feel we were going for, while keeping the projects manageable.
4. Brooke is ultra organized. I had many, many little projects going on (did I mention a 41-page deck?), and even I had trouble keeping it straight. For someone managing other people’s weddings, Brooke had no trouble remembering it all. I only had to say something once, and she would get it done. I am so used to having to repeat myself to people at work, other vendors, etc., so this was such a relief.
5. She is so positive! There were times when I wasn’t sure if certain issues would be resolved, and she always had that can-do attitude. I hate using that phrase, but Brooke embodies the can-do ethic entirely.
6. She referred excellent, reasonably priced vendors. She gathered quotes for us from florists, and she got us vendors for a shuttle and photobooth.
7. Brooke executed the day-of planning flawlessly. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I woke up, got ready and followed her color-coded schedule of events. When we got to the venue early, we found her there, with her sleeves rolled up, hanging lanterns from a ladder. She picked up all the props and décor from our house the day before, and she decorated the venue better than I had ever imagined in my many schemes. She kept us on schedule without it ever seeming like a schedule. She was there making it all happen in the background. A couple of our extremely particular friends in finance (who were initially skeptical about a need for a planner) were especially impressed by her demeanor, confidence and planning skills.

My husband and I planned our Los Angeles wedding from New York. Brooke was instrumental in making the wedding not only look gorgeous, but also in implementing so many of our personal touches throughout the day.

(Seriously, she returns emails and texts in record-breaking time). She is accomodating, thoughtful and practical and presents her ideas in a helpful, yet unintrusive way. Although she was our "Day of," she willingly answered countless emails in the months prior to wedding, providing guidance and suggestions which I'm sure were outside of that job description. During the month of the wedding, Brooke coordinated with all of our vendors, many of whom later commended her organization. We felt prepared on our wedding day, and Brooke handled the things we were unprepared for (incorrect # of tables delivered by our rental company, broken ketubah frame, etc.) quickly and smoothly. As mother-of-the-bride I found Brooke to be very organized, responsive, calm when calm was needed and always one step ahead of me. Additionally she was a sweetheart to work with. My daughter has very specific taste so we agreed that she would make all of the decisions regarding venue, flowers, band, lighting, linens etc., as long as it was within my price range. She and Brooke worked together on everything and kept it within the budget.
Brooke found us amazing vendors. I received many complements on the beautiful centerpieces, which I thought were gorgeous, and some guests said they had never seen anything so beautiful. However, the center pieces did not come out exactly as my daughter and Brooke had had in mind. After the wedding, Brooke spoke with the vendor who graciously gave us a partial refund.

Hiring Brooke was the best decision I made in terms of wedding planning, hands down. She made the entire process so much easier, stress-free and also helped us find amazing vendors and great deals.

I can't say enough great things about Orange Blossom Special Events. We hired them for the whole process starting at the beginning of planning. Right away I knew I was in over my head- and was so lucky to have Brooke to guide us through. But NOTHING compares to how she handled the day of. Hiring Brooke was the best decision I made in terms of wedding planning, hands down. She made the entire process so much easier, stress-free and also helped us find amazing vendors and great deals.

I can't say enough great things about Orange Blossom Special Events. We hired them for the whole process starting at the beginning of planning. Right away I knew I was in over my head- and was so lucky to have Brooke to guide us through. But NOTHING compares to how she handled the day of. SPEECHLESS is how Brooke left me towards the end of my wedding day. I knew from my first consultation with Brooke that she would be a good and solid coordinator. She was personable, easy to chat with, professional, timely, and organized. But all of that was expected.

Here’s what I didn’t expect… Unbelievable responsiveness and thoroughness to any and all questions I had (I felt like I was on her speed dial). She met with us multiple times to review information, go over questions and helped make a few decisions when we were at a standstill. From the get go it was super easy to get along with Brooke. She was sweet, enthusiastic and super easy to talk to - all things that you want in a wedding planner. Although we met with a few different coordinators, we went with Orange Blossom because we felt they really understood what we wanted out of a wedding.

And let me just say, that wasn't always easy. We wanted a wedding that was fun but still romantic, laid-back but still elegant, quirky, beautiful, meaningful - yep, we wanted a lot! Luckily Brooke was there to make it all happen. She always had a number of unique ideas and experienced advice to guide us through the process. I know I was a maniac at times, and Brooke really helped keep me calm and focused. Although most of our vendors were fantastic, when there was any issue, Brooke was always one step ahead. She is an ultimate planner - always updating schedules, timelines, layouts, etc! Several of our vendors commented on the fact that she was much more organized than most coordinators they work with. Not to mention that whenever I sent her an email - her response was almost immediate (and I keep crazy hours!!)

A few days before the wedding our photobooth company cancelled due to an emergency. Without missing a beat, Brooke found a new company willing to take over. Not only did they match a super reduced price that we had negotiated, but they threw in additional services like personalized photo strips and a scrapbook station. It was all Brooke. And only when everything was in place did she tell us about the drama. Although I like to think of myself as laid back, the truth is that I'm not. I was nervous and anxious about things going right. Brooke took total charge of the situation and fixed everything without ever worrying us. It was super impressive!

We put a lot on Brooke's plate the day of the wedding. In addition to coordinating the whole day she was setting up programs, place cards, escort cards, photos, a candy bar and much, much more. She hustled all night, running from one end of the venue to the other - but always with purpose. We were running late but she got us back on track somehow (not sure how she did that!) When we were running of vodka she actually went to the store to get some more! I could go on and on but I think my point has been made. She did an AMAZING job and we were thrilled with our wedding.

Beyond a doubt, Brooke and her team at Orange Blossom Special Events helped make my wedding everything I dreamed of and more. So many people advised me to take a moment and try to take everything in on the actual wedding day because it would go by in a flash, but to be perfectly honest I was able to really appreciate and enjoy my ENTIRE wedding knowing that Brooke was taking care of every detail. After the many months of planning, she took care of it all and allowed me the luxury to enjoy the fruits of my labor.

At one point, one of her assistants actually sewed a button back onto my husband's tuxedo minutes before the reception started! That's how thorough they are. Not to mention how responsive Brooke is anytime you email her. I usually got a response within an hour if not sooner.

Absolutely loved Brooke!! I plan educational conferences and programs for a living... so I know what goes into making an event run smoothly and seamlessly. We had several consultations before Brooke was referred to us by our MC/DJ. We set up a meeting with her to talk about our wedding... and we hired her on the spot.

Brooke is very responsive, organized, experienced and very sweet. She came with us to coordinate the church, confirm the flowers and figure out the play-by-play for the whole day. The week of the wedding, she confirmed with all of the vendors and set up a timeline for everyone. Seriously… I didn’t really need to do a single thing… Brooke made everything happen.

On the day of the wedding, several changes came up with the logistics, the guests, the seating arrangements… and Brooke rolled with the punches. When I got to the church and the reception, everything was gorgeous and perfect. There was definitely no stress on our big day because of Brooke… and my hubby and I got to enjoy the whole day with our friends and family.

I had 5 dresses for my wedding (it’s a Chinese thing to have multiple dress changes), and Brooke was there to help me in and out. One of the most impressive things was at the end of the night, after everyone left, Brooke handed my groomsman the car keys… she had packed all of my dresses, the extra wedding favors, the presents, the guest book, the extra wine, my shoes and everything else into the car… and we were ready to go. If it wasn’t for Brooke, I probably would have lost all of those things or left them at the restaurant!!

Professional: Brooke is very organized and is proactive in checking in on wedding progress. She is also a great source of advice (e.g. I often asked for vendor recommendations and thoughts on wedding planning in general like what lighting might go well for my venue). She has a great questionnaire that you fill out and from that she creates a very easy to use timeline that she gives you and all the vendors so that everyone is on the same page. She walked me through the timeline during one of visits to the venue and was not only good about keeping things on track the day of but also flexible about tweaking things on the spot depending on how the reception was going. She is detail oriented and thinks of things that I didn't think of (for example, she suggested that the groomsmen place their hands in a consistent manner during the ceremony - either clasped in front or the back - which was great for pictures!).

Great Value: Her fees are very reasonable given how responsive and professional she is. When I first started planning my wedding, I thought that I was organized enough to handle everything, but I now fully appreciate that Brooke was worth every penny. She made everything run smoothly the day of because she coordinated directly with all the vendors ahead of time, worked closely with the venue and was very organized with her detailed timeline so I knew I was in good hands. I was able to fully enjoy the wedding without worrying about anything because Brooke got everything set up and always magically knew where to find me and when to check up on me. Even if you
consider yourself an organized person, I highly recommend working with Brooke because you will be very busy leading up to the wedding (things always pop up) and even busier the day of. She is detail oriented and thinks of things that I didn't think of (for example, she suggested that the groomsmen place their hands in a consistent manner during the ceremony - either clasped in front or the back - which was great for pictures!).

Great Value: Her fees are very reasonable given how responsive and professional she is. When I first started planning my wedding, I thought that I was organized enough to handle everything, but I now fully appreciate that Brooke was worth every penny. She made everything run smoothly the day of because she coordinated directly with all the vendors ahead of time, worked closely with the venue and was very organized with her detailed timeline so I knew I was in good hands. I was able to fully enjoy the wedding without worrying about anything because Brooke got everything set up and always magically knew where to find me and when to check up on me. Even if you
consider yourself an organized person, I highly recommend working with Brooke because you will be very busy leading up to the wedding (things always pop up) and even busier the day of. The special day passes quickly so you'll want to spend time with family and friends instead of making sure things go smoothly with the vendors and venue.

I can't say enough good things about Brooke! I just got married on Sunday and it was absolutely the best day of my life thanks to her! Here are the reason's you should trust your wedding (or any event, really) to Brooke:

2). Her prices are super reasonable. I hired her as my month of coordinator--and really, we were in constant contact from January 2010 to now, two days after my wedding! Having Brooke be part of our wedding was truly perfect. Having hired her without ever meeting her, just conversations over the phone and internet I was crossing my fingers that everything would be good. But it was better, PERFECT!

Brooke was my day of coordinator, but she was really more. She was available by email throughout the entire process. Part of her package is that she checks in every month and is available to answer wedding related questions. For brides who want to do much of the planning themselves, this is super useful. I'm not quite sure if the wedding would have been pulled off as well without me asking her little questions about the wedding along the way.

We had a destination wedding on Catalina Island and as a destination day of coordinator she was more than accommodating. She did not charge a travel fee, just transportation and hotel expenses which I found very reasonable. Brooke offered to come the night before to run the rehearsal dinner at no extra cost using this as one of the in-person meetings that was included in my package This went above and beyond my expectations and shows how flexible she is in catering to your particular wedding.

Coming from the East Coast to Catalina Island a few days before the wedding she was extremely useful by calling and confirming the vendors prior to the wedding. She called everyone a few weeks before and then a few days before to make sure everything was on schedule and everyone was on the same page. I would have not had such an amazing vacation if I had to do this in the days leading up to the wedding.

During the rehearsal she was quick and to the point but also being EXTREMELY sweet and gentle with her directions. Having a somewhat casual wedding, with people coming from all over the country, she got everyone to know what they had to do without loosing that "vacation" vibe.

The day of the wedding she helped assemble two dozen bud vases with flowers. With minimal direction, she instantly got to the task knowing that this was one project that I didn't have time to complete and needed help with. She worked with the Catalina Country Club to find the perfect table setup after I wasn't happy with how the set up was coming along. After she spoke with them it was exactly how I envisioned. She set up placecards and escort cards. And after telling her that I forgot frames for my photos at the guest table she came up with an inventive solution.

During the wedding she ran things effortlessly, and without drawing any attention to herself or the activity. Later in the evening she passed the message that we went over our alcohol limit and asked if we wanted to start a cash bar or tab. She quickly relayed the message to the Country Club. She also passed out all remaining checks to vendors so I didn't have to.

At the end of the evening she packed up all of our stuff so we and our friends and family didn't have to. It was so nice not having to think about cleaning up after the wedding because there actually were quite a few things that we wanted to keep like vases, flowers, guest book, etc.

After meeting with a couple of wedding coordinators, I chose Brooke Ueable because she was so warm, confident, calm, cool and collected. I don't know about other brides - but I was a bride who worried about every detail! (sound familiar?) I hired Brooke for month-of services and she was spectacular! She goes above and beyond. She was very helpful with ideas, research and making sure you truly end up with details that suit you and your taste/personality/budget. She's always available and ready to attack any problem or project.

We couldn't have survived the day-of without her. I had a chinese banquet by the beach and lets just say we had to bring the whole kitchen there! Brooke was great at handling complicated logistics and strict venue rules. She seamlessly managed all the guests and the vendors. Everything went smoothly and we received a ton of compliments, not just on the beauty of the wedding, but how well orchestrated everything was. The guests were not bored for a second! She made sure we stuck to our timeline without interfering. The breakdown and clean-up of our wedding at our venue was quite a large task and Brooke and her team stayed till the end to make sure everything was taken care of the right way. She is a person who is the first one to be there and the last one to leave!

There is no doubt she is an unbelievable day-of coordinator. But if you're busy with work and life (like I was), hiring Brooke the few months before my wedding was the best choice I made. Wedding in Los Angeles, bride in Florida, groom in Singapore = require a full-time wedding planner! And who did we find? Brooke! Brooke is AWESOME! Firstly, she replies emails immediately and is very organized! Previous reviews have mentioned this phenomenal quality of hers time and time again and I have to stress that knowing this really helps take a load off your shoulders in wedding planning. I even remember getting an automatic out-of-office once and a few minutes later, Brooke replies, addressing my concerns! Isn't she GREAT!
Not being in LA, it was difficult to find vendors so we completely relied on Brooke to give us suggestions. We were so happy with the recommended vendors services as they all gave exceptionally high-end service at a very respectable price range which fits into our budget. No compromise on quality at all! And yes! If they know you are working with Brooke, you get some discount =). Our entire wedding team was really phenomenal! She really listens to our requests too! Her designer Christy, helped us so much in getting the overall color and theme to go along and even worked with the florists to ensure that everything ties together!
Wedding day itself, my maid-of honor told me a few times that I was the most 'chill' bride she ever saw. Brooke completely took over ensuring that the vendors were there, the venue was decorated, guiding us as to when the next speech or dance was coming up. Oh! we also didn't have a cake knife and stand etc. but she brought in her own on the day itself for us! It was so nice of her =). Everything went perfectly on schedule and was executed beautifully!
We also booked this awesome 2 room bungalow for the wedding night. Brooke packed everything after the wedding was over and arranged everything so nicely and pretty, around the bathroom, in the living room, etc.. WE LOVED IT! That was really sweet and thoughtful of her to do that for us. She really goes all out and beyond to ensure that you have the best day ever!!!

Previous reviews have mentioned this phenomenal quality of hers time and time again and I have to stress that knowing this really helps take a load off your shoulders in wedding planning. I even remember getting an automatic out-of-office once and a few minutes later, Brooke replies, addressing my concerns! Isn't she GREAT!
Not being in LA, it was difficult to find vendors so we completely relied on Brooke to give us suggestions. We were so happy with the recommended vendors services as they all gave exceptionally high-end service at a very respectable price range which fits into our budget. No compromise on quality at all! And yes! If they know you are working with Brooke, you get some discount =). Our entire wedding team was really phenomenal! She really listens to our requests too! Her designer Christy, helped us so much in getting the overall color and theme to go along and even worked with the florists to ensure that everything ties together!
Wedding day itself, my maid-of honor told me a few times that I was the most 'chill' bride she ever saw. Brooke completely took over ensuring that the vendors were there, the venue was decorated, guiding us as to when the next speech or dance was coming up. Oh! we also didn't have a cake knife and stand etc. but she brought in her own on the day itself for us! It was so nice of her =). Everything went perfectly on schedule and was executed beautifully!
We also booked this awesome 2 room bungalow for the wedding night. Brooke packed everything after the wedding was over and arranged everything so nicely and pretty, around the bathroom, in the living room, etc.. WE LOVED IT! That was really sweet and thoughtful of her to do that for us. She really goes all out and beyond to ensure that you have the best day ever!!! Read less

Wow! How do I even begin writing a review for Brooke and the OBSE team...

Simply put, Brooke and her team helped us plan our perfect wedding. She was there every step of the way, patiently answering my questions and providing guidance when I had no clue what to do. She is extremely responsive by email and phone! After our initial consult and some Pinterest sharing, she understood our vision of the wedding and was great at finding us vendors who could help us put it all together! My husband and I had some tight budgets for some vendor categories and Brooke was able to help us keep within them, which is something we really appreciated. We also used Brooke's team for some graphic design work and Christy is amazing! Receptive to feedback, quick and very good at what she does!

The day of the wedding was a complete dream. No one had to worry about anything because Brooke had done such a great job of planning and coordinating with all the vendors. My husband and myself, as well as our bridal party and family, did not have to worry about a thing, which was really important to us -we wanted them to be fully submerged and able to enjoy the experience without having small tasks to do. From my perspective, everything unfolded perfectly and we could not have done it without Brooke and her team. She went above and beyond in everything she did and was worth every penny (and more!)
