We recently had our wedding rehearsal dinner here, and if a restaurant can please both my picky Italian family, and me and my vegan husband, then it's a winner in my book. They put us in their private room in the back, which was the perfect space for a big, casual dinner. They were very accommodating and took great care of us. It seemed like every time we turned around our glasses were being re-filled and there was new delicious food.

I don't really hang out on Union Street much, and they only have a few veggie dishes, but definitely a great family restaurant and a good compromise when you find yourself with omnivores. The service is what sells it though. They even let my mother in law bring in equipment for a slideshow. The only drawback was that you have to have a group of at least 30 to use the space. It's best to book it earlier in the day, like around 5. They had booked a party right after us and so we were a little rushed out, and the 2nd party had to wait. This was only a small drawback in an evening of otherwise wonderful service.
