I'm sorry to say it did not turn out as I had hoped. A friend of mine used PartyBooths a few years ago and had great results. Their pictures were fabulous! Our experience did not have such great results. The attendant was too quiet and shy, she did not encourage guests to use all the props we supplied, she didn't have much of a personality. Many guests did not even get a chance to get a photo due to children doing 2 or 3 in row and there was already a line of people waiting. She could have at least been able to coordinate the process. Of course I didn't know any of this until after the fact and it was too late. Also, the scrapbook was not creative at all, laid out horribly, and used a gel pen which the writing is smeared all over other pages. And it was supposed to be cream but it was olive green!!!! I would still recommend PartyBooth, but request an attendant that will be fun and creative.

We hired PartyBooths.com to bring out a photo booth for my daughter's wedding this past weekend. They did arrive on time and have the booth set up and working at the start of the reception. Unfortunately the booth only worked for about 40 minutes and all of the back-up measures that were in place in case of an emergency also failed. The two operators were never able to get the booth working even with their tech support on the line.

Another HUGE issue that I had was that the scrapbook that was provided to me was nothing more than a black 3-ring binder with white peel-and-stick photo pages. The local rep had called me earlier that week to let me know that he was out of the scrapbook that we had ordered, but not to worry, he would take care of me. I thought after the conversation, that my daughter would actually receive something nicer than what I had paid for. So, had the photo booth worked, the quality of the keepsake photo book was simply embarrassing.

I gave this company a 3 on responsiveness because I had to contact them today in order to get this issue resolved. Apparently, they made an attempt to contact my daughter this morning (the number on the contract) instead of me; however, I had specifically given the booth operator my personal cell phone number to call as my daughter was out of the country on her honeymoon. Once I spoke to the local rep, he immediately offered his apology and volunteered a full refund (and listened to my complaints). Shortly after that, I was contacted by the owner of the company for the same reason....which I did appreciate. While I truly believe that they were sorry, the moment is lost to us which is our greatest disappointment.

In all fairness, we hired this company because they did a great job at another wedding we had attended earlier this year. I may consider using them again for a future event, but at this time, cannot recommend them based on my personal experience.

Don't get me wrong, they were the highlight of the party (as would any photo booths) but I was really surprised that we paid $700+ for a digital camera on a tripod to take our pictures! It looked very unprofessional. The layout was too simple, 4 boring photo boxes and very little space to personalize the layout.

I am extremely unhappy with Party Booths. I had a one of their photo booths at my wedding, and chose Party Booths because they had been recommended to us to use. However, I quickly found out that their services were terrible. The day before my wedding I received a call saying they did not have the guest book I ordered 3 months ago. The man on the phone reassured me that he would get one immediately and asked me exactly what I wanted, at this point I felt like I was being well taken care of and that it would turn out like I wanted. Unfortunately, what he brought to the wedding was a black 3-ring binder. If I wanted a 3-ring binder I would have brought on of my school binders to save money. Since I was the bride, I was not involved in the setup of the photo booth. I show up to the reception after all the guests are there and I start hearing talk about the photo booth not working. The two employees working the photo booth at my wedding were extremely remorseful and did the best they could to fix it, but they never called for a replacement booth like we asked them to do. They told us that the owners of Photo Booth would be calling my mom first thing Monday morning (because I was going to be out of the country.) She ended up having to call them. My mom explained what had happened at the wedding a come to find out, the software had not been updated on that particular booth and therefore, could not be used. The owners told us that their employee (who is also a family member of theirs) was supposed to update it weeks ago, well guess what, he didn't and lost all of the photographic memories from my reception! The owners also told us that they would refund our money, give us a gift certificate for dinner, and provide a discount for future use of a booth. All they did was refund the money. It would have been nice to have a little something else to make up for it considering I now have zero pictures from the photo booth I wanted.

I would NEVER recommend this company!

Party Booths responded with the following comments:

First, we are deeply saddened by the issues we experienced at this event and even though the client received some service, we still quickly refunded 100% of the money paid. However we would like to point out some inaccuracies in this assessment. First, the "owners" Jaclyn keeps referring to were not the owners but the local area representatives in the Phoenix area and they happen to be family with each other, not the owners of Party Booths. The person responsible for not updating the photo booth with the proper new software was the OLD area representative, again with no relationship to the owners nor the new area representatives. The booth was fully tested and worked fine the night before. It worked fine during the beginning of the event and then broke. The following Monday morning, the real owner did call the Bride and left a voicemail regarding the full refund, discount offer, along with his deepest apologies. The bride was Party Booths' client, not Jaclyn (the mother of the bride). Jaclyn kept calling throughout the morning on Monday and the owner called Jaclyn back immediately when arriving to the office that same Monday afternoon. Had the bride returned our call, we would have worked out the gift certificate and future discount with her, again, our "client" but we never heard back from her since we immediately processed the 100% refund as instructed by the mother of the bride. The scrapbook that was brought to the event was not a cheap 3-ring binder either but a nice scrap book and had Jaclyn simply let us know that she was not happy with that scrapbook, we would have promptly shipped her out a replacement scrapbook so that she could simply swap the scrapbook pages out of the original book and in to the new book. Again, we are deeply sorry for the issues that we experienced at this event and did everything we could to make our client AND her mother happy, while fixing the issue so as to ensure this does not happen at a future event.

Maybe we just got unlucky with them... but I had a HORRIBLE experience. I paid everything on time via paypal but they emailed me a few weeks before the wedding saying I hadn't paid my balance yet. I had to follow up constantly to make sure they received my payment because I wanted to be sure that we were set for our wedding. I emailed them many many times and was getting really nervous because they were slow to respond or would just write back and say they were looking into it still. They finally confirmed that my payment was received a week before the wedding.

On the day of the wedding, my coordinator said she had many problems with them. The biggest issue of all was that their printers weren't working! So no one received copies of their photos. He said he would mail me copies of everyone's pictures but now I have to spend more money to mail them out to our out-of-town friends & family. Plus I feel that if guests saw others walking around with their photobooth prints, more would have used it. He did offer to stay an extra 30 minutes because of the issues (whoop-dee-doo), which is the only reason I gave them 2 stars on professionalism and flexibility.

I've emailed the guy since then but have not heard back. I haven't received any apology or follow up about when I can expect all the prints. No response at all.

I don't feel our booth was fully utilized because everyone thought it was broken, and I think this company was a COMPLETE waste of money.

My advice - go with a trusted local vendor. That way you know exactly who you are dealing with and can make sure they will provide you with the service you expect and deserve.
