Describe your DJ style:
Each of our DJs has his or her own style. We run the gamut from low-key night club style performers to an energetic, out-going and talkative DJs.
What is your usual attire?
That's up to our clients. In years past, tuxedoes were the standard fare, but more and more brides are requesting something more casual.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No. Unless it is out of print, or otherwise unavailable, we will find it ourselves.
How many other DJs do you work with?
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
No minimum
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Absolutely. We strongly recommend taking advantage of our free in-person consultation.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
We've performed at numerous weddings that were geared towards a particular ethnicity, most commonly Chinese, Indian, Greek, and Mexican weddings, but we don't necessarily specialize in any one style. We will play the songs you want, and include foreign music upon request.
Do you bring your own equipment?
We are 100% self-contained. All we need is a power source.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We have extra sound systems, lights, and numerous effects available.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We give ourselves an hour, but need only about 20 minutes. A table is nice to have, but not required.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Nothing out of the ordinary for a DJ.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
This is something we work out with our clients long before the reception takes place. We're all trained as emcees, and will talk as much, or as little, as we are asked to talk.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
If need be, yes.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
What is your overtime rate?
The overtime rate depends on what we are providing in terms of staff and equipment.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
There is no charge for any performance within 100 miles round-trip of our warehouse in San Francisco. After that, there is a per mile charge.

We were very pleased and happy with there services. The DJ's were great, they did an exceptional job. The dance floor was never empty and everyone had such a great time. Mary who took the pictures throughout the day did such a great job and was able to capture wonderful candid pictures throughout the night

I had used Party Professionals for my son's Bar Mitzvah 5 month earlier, where they provided not only musical entertainment but also gambling tables. Because I had such a positive experience, I hired them again for my wedding. Greg was great to work with, very responsive to all my requests, many of which came at the last minute. He kept the music flowing, providing a great range to accomodate the various ages and tastes of the attendees. He was also sensitive to the flow of events and providing music of a type and volume appropriate to the particular activity occuring at the time. I highly recommend Party Professionals!

Greg was awesome. He had fans of disparate genres, from house to indie rock, all grooving on the dance floor. His past club experience came through in the mix, as he actually mixed tracks, unlike your typical wedding DJ. Having said that, he was more than happy to play wedding MC duties to keep the evening's programme rolling along. I think I was most impressed by his mini-sets, where he would jump from one genre to the next, from Latin to indie to '80s. Greg also effectively catered to our overseas guests, as we had a number of friends come out from London. I will always remember his request-driven paean to '90s R&B that concluded the night. All of that thankfully without an appearance of Mustang Sally! If you need a DJ to keep the wedding guests on their feet, from Uncle Jimmy to your 3 year-old nephew, I can think of no better master of ceremonies than Greg.

I did a lot of research on DJs for my wedding and, after reading the musical taste profiles for the DJs at Party Professionals, I was sold. I absolutely hate Top40 and Dance music so it was important for me to have a DJ that had good musical taste and could play not only good music, but music that people could dance to.

Greg recommended Chas to be our DJ and he was fantastic. He had great musical taste and got raving reviews from my guests. I recommend to at least sit down with one of the DJs to get a feel. Worst case, you decide not to utilize their services. Best case, you have a DJ that will give you memories that will last a lifetime.

Greg is the best DJ, I should know since I am a DJ too. OF course I couldn't do my own wedding. I wouldn't have trusted this to anyone else. I also made sure my brother used him for his wedding as well.
