I was not impressed with Partytown. We had to work with them as they were connected with our reception site, but I was very disappointed in Partytown. They never called us back when they were supposed to, and they were the one thing that went wrong on our wedding day. Our table linens and centerpieces were supposed to be set up by 9am, but when we arrived at noon they were not set up and our reception site coordinator had to call them so that they would come out, and then even when they get there we had to wait for them to iron/steam the linens. Very Frustrating!!!

I was not impressed with Partytown. We had to work with them as they were connected with our reception site, but I was very disappointed in Partytown. They never called us back when they were supposed to, and they were the one thing that went wrong on our wedding day. They were really good the only problem we had was that they used the wrong flowers in the cereomy decor and the lady basically told me after the fact that she forgot to write it down and there was only a $3 difference between the flowers that were used and she could give me my $3 back if I wanted it.

Party Town was horrible to work with.
We went there the first time to just look around and everything, had an appointment and all. Well it was Kim that we spoke with, and she was just so flighty, and talking about how busy they were, sending out rentals and such. But she wrote down everything that we wanted and took all our contact info. Well I called back about 2 weeks later to actually confirm things and get the contract going and she had no memory of talking to us, didn't have any of our info anymore. Ok, fine, one bad thing. So over the course of 2 weeks, I called probably 4 times to try to confirm with the prices Kim had emailed to me, and they could never find a copy of that email and would never bother to even call me back. So finally I talked to a younger girl on the phone and she drew up a new contract (bless her heart). One of the things we were doing was a custom GOBO image (where they put an image over the light that shines to the top of the tent at Olympia), and no one ever contacted me about getting that going and what i needed to do for it. About a week and a half before our wedding I finally called them, of course didn't get a call back. I emailed Kim about it, she called back saying they never had any messages left from me since July and just said to email an image in. She didn't give us any guidelines or anything. So we made up a thing in Word and emailed it, then went out there the next night to confirm everything else. And the woman working, Karen, pretty much ignored us for a good 10 minutes and then got mad that we were there "without an appointment" even though Kim told us to be there at that time.... anyways, so we firmed everything up. I leave my cell number so they can call me the next day to make sure the GOBO image is ok. That next day at 1120 I get a call from them (on the home phone), saying it's too much writing and we need to change it, but in order for it to get back in time from whoever makes these things, it has to be submitted by noon that day. Why they waited to call, I don't know. So we change it, I resend it and call back, but apparently this Karen lady is the "only one in the store" and they're "really busy" and she doesn't have time to see if they got it ok. And yet they said I HAD to have it in by noon....but she did call back around noon and said it was all ok. So I leave to run errands that afternoon. Come home to 3 messages from them saying they need it in JPEG format. Granted, the number I gave them last night was my cell phone, and they never once called it. So I get these messages all freaking out because they need it right away...when really, had I not called earlier in the week, there's no way they would have called me to have me send it in. It was just so frustrating...I have not had a single positive interaction with anyone that worked there, except Kim's husband Mark, who does the lights. He's a nice guy. If they weren't the only people around that did the paper lanterns, I wouldn't have stayed with them. There's no way I would EVER recommend them to anyone. EVER.

Sketchy!!!! DO NOT rent from them! They could not keep track of their deliveries and kept calling us asking whether or not we sent in a deposit. Finally we cut them and went elsewhere. It was like dealing with children. If you rent from them I'd give you a 50% chance they are going to be late or not show up at all. Just go elsewhere. It will save you a huge headache.

We got chair sashes from them to use as table runners. They were on time and ready to go when we picked them up. Also, we had our table count go down from our initial order. They let us change our numbers and gave us a refund for the sashes we didn't need.

This was a good company to work with... they set up the tent on Wednesday or Thursday before the wedding on Saturday so we had tons of time to decorate etc... They were very fast and efficient. The items that we got from them were all very nice... tables, chairs, tent, plates, cups, glasses, flatware, dance floor, linens, center piece holders, on and on...basically everything we needed. The only thing that was unfavorable was that we had to wash all the dishes before returning them... this is something a caterer might do??
