I couldn't ask for a better wedding. The venue was amazing, the view was amazing and the staff was amazing too. Our wedding coordinator Natassa helped us through every thing step by step and we felt at home whenever we had a meeting. She was on top of everything and made sure we had the wedding that we dreamed of. I would absolutely redo this night over again.

There are so many wonderful things I want to say about Ravel; I don't even know where to start! So I'll start with the top - Natassa. Natassa is the event coordinator at Ravel. If the view and the food haven't already sold you on this place (and truly, those alone probably could), then Natassa will. She is committed, friendly, detail-oriented, and just plain awesome. It's almost like you get a free wedding planner with the package. She loves what she does and it shows. We signed our contract with Ravel a year out, and Natassa answered TONS of emails, hosted all our visits to the site (and I stopped by a lot!), and always made us feel important and welcome. The actual wedding was true perfection, carried out impeccably by Natassa and her staff. Natassa never just answered yes when you asked if something was possible. She would answer YES, AND... top it with something you hadn't even considered possible. You guys, have your wedding here. Did I mention it's affordable? How I found this price in New York, and got this result, is still incredible to me. So lucky!

We were at the end of our rope looking for a venue in or around NYC that was amazing and fit our budget.... I began the search ALL over again after being completely disappointed with other venues.

We went to Penthouse808 and met with Natassa. She was SO accommodating and positive from the beginning. She is high energy and thinks outside of the box to make EVERYTHING work.

The communication is so quick and we booked the venue within a week or so, had an AMAZING tasting and they NAILED the food. My husband and I are both foodies so the menu was VERY important.
They worked with us to shift things around and make even the menu personal.

We went to the venue 3 or 4 times, with siblings, parents, and to do walk throughs of the timeline. Natassa, Meagan and Katrina are all SO responsive and professional. Not to mention amazing ladies that we will continue to hang out with even though the wedding is over!

Did we mention the view??? We had an amazing evening wedding with perfect weather (even if not, we had a game plan) Our guests were all blown away with the city skyline, the bridge, the lights...

Our friends and family are still talking about it!

We would recommend Penthouse808 to anyone looking for a seamless planning experience with the utmost professionalism and flexibility.

Thanks Penthouse808 & Team!

We had a wonderful and positive experience with the staff and events coordinator. Natassa was very patient and always took the time to listen to our ideas. She made great suggestions and always had good ideas to share. We enjoyed every moment of our wedding planning, from our first meeting with Natassa to the day of our wedding. Our guests enjoyed the food and drinks, and had a great time. We definitely recommend Penthouse808. The view was breath-taking, especially when the sun is going down and at night. We hope to return soon.

I am so glad we chose Penthouse 808 for our wedding! The venue is gorgeous, the food was amazing, and the convenience of being able to do the ceremony, reception, AND have a hotel for guests to stay was so convenient. I thought the value we got for the prices Penthouse 808 offered was phenomenal, and working with Natassa and Meaghan was a delight! I planned most of the wedding from across the country and my guests said they would never have been able to tell since the staff was able to pull everything together as if I had orchestrated the whole thing from right there in NYC. I recommend this venue if you want a beautiful wedding but with a different feel than the normal reception hall feel, with great packages for reasonable (as far as weddings go...) prices.

Penthouse 808 at The Ravel Hotel was amazing on every level. As soon as we walked into the hotel and saw the rooftop we loved it! It was just what we were looking for. We didn't want your average wedding reception hall. We wanted something that was different and reflected who we were. The view of the city is awesome and the space is PERFECT! Once we both decided this is a place we would like to have our wedding, we waited to speak to their event coordinator Natassa. Once we met her, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married 100%! Natassa is the nicest person and I got the best feeling from her. She made the whole process so great from beginning to end. She is AWESOME! She is a genuinely nice person, who happens to be amazing at what she does! Any questions I had, she was there to answer and help me, along with her awesome assistant Meagan, who is also so nice.

The food is phenomenal! We had a number of food tastings because we couldn't decide what food to choose! Every one of my guests told us how amazing the food was- they all said the best wedding food they have had!
The view of the city at night is beautiful and all of our guests were so thrilled to be dancing the night away with those views!
We really feel so lucky to have found Penthouse 808 and to have had Natassa and Meagan help plan our amazing day!

I had the most amazing wedding ever! Everything was perfect. Natassa made me feel so at ease and really went the extra mile. One of my bridesmaids dress broke and Natassa even had someone take it to the cleaners near by to get fixed. I highly recommend your venue, it was beautiful. The food stations were also amaze, my family and friends still talk about the Mashed potatoe martinins.

Thanks again!

I had the pleasure of working with Natassa on planning a private Engagement party at Penthouse 808. The view completely speaks for itself at this rooftop venue, but what was even more amazing was the service. Natassa completely gets what it means to make a soon-to-be bride feel special at her Engagement Party. She was open to our ideas, checked up on our needs and made us feel like we were truly important. I want to have every party there now! My guests had such a great time that several of them have booked events there themselves since mine. When they got off the elevator the look on everyone's face was priceless...cameras came out and pictures of the NY skyline were all over everyone's facebook! I could not say enough good things about this place. The weather was great that day, but since they can cover the rooftop we didnt have a single worry about the weather. Overall a wonderful experience and I look forward to working with them again. For any bride thinking about a unique venue, this is really an awesome place.

Penthouse 808 is a dream come true! Born and raised in Queens, New York, and always being against the “traditional” wedding, I knew I always wanted my wedding to be something like the ultimate party of a lifetime - modern, sexy and totally rockin', but encompassing all I loved about New York City. So, when my husband finally popped the question in February 2012, we knew exactly what encompassed all of those things - Penthouse 808 at the Ravel Hotel. Having partied and eaten there a bunch of times, I knew that the food and the view were incomparable to anything else NYC, so it was just a matter of contacting them. What was the most incredible surprise though was not only how accommodating and eager they were to make our dreams a reality, but it was the affordability of it all! Words can’t even describe how incredible Natassa, the Director of Events, and her assistant Annie were to work with. Natassa is truly passionate about her job and it shows, and from the moment we met her, we knew that we were in great hands. They worked so hard and provided so many incredible ideas to make our wedding simply phenomenal. In terms of the wedding itself, we knew we didn’t want a formal sit down dinner, just heavy hors d’ouevres, stations, and a premium open bar. Well, talk about a phenomenal selection! Jeff, their amazing executive chef, has made such a tantalizing catering menu for events there, it was definitely hard to choose! Knowing that we also wanted to incorporate foods from our cultures, he even worked with us on special items – it was a spectacular! Fast forwarding to the big event in August 2012, everything went seamlessly and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Natassa and her team were always around to take care of anything and everything, including the incredible wait and bar staff. To this day, our guests say that this was the most amazing wedding they had ever been to, and we have the spectacular people at Penthouse 808 to thank.

Penthouse 808 was the PERFECT place for us to have our wedding reception. We trusted Natassa and Annie, who helped us out with all the planning and coordination, they took all our stress away! And they sure delivered. Everything ran smoothy and we were more than happy with everything. The food was delicious, we had so many compliments and were told numerous times that it didn't taste like "typical boring wedding food". They kept the flow of the night moving so we didn't have to worry about anything. The DJ they recommended was awesome, friends are still talking about the music! The venue itself is unique with amazing views. A lot of our New York friends had never been there and were completely impressed. The staff are on top of things and none of our guests were ever kept waiting. We couldn't have found a better place with better people like Natassa and Annie. They spoiled us, understood our needs, and their professionalism allowed us to enjoy our wedding day with zero stress.

The moment my husband and I walked into the ravel in october 2010 we knew it would be the perfect place for our wedding. the great relax look of the lobby would be the perfect place to for our guest to walk in. going up to the penthouse was just breath taking seeing the view and the room. As soon as we meet with Natassa we fell in love with her the way she explained everything and how she works. Our wedding day was going to be oct 2012 and because we didnt want to wait we moved it up to march 2012 with no problem Natassa help us all the way giving us ideas and supporting our plans.

We come from a family that is all about the food, to us it was very important that our Dominican relatives had a GOOD meal. We told this to Natassa and she made it possible to cater all of our demand with the help of their amazing chef. Is going to be six month since we got married and out family and friends are still saying how great the food was from the churrasco to the salmon, and the crab cakes.

I can really say that Annie was great as well I meet her once and she was very sweet and help me when Natassa was not around from the seating charts and arranging the tables exactly how I drew them.
My husband and I stayed at the hotel for two night before going to our honeymoon and the way they took care of us was amazing. we ask if they can bring us a plate of our cake that was left over and the came right away to the room. one thing that i was concern about my caketopper they took such great care of it, saved it and gave it to me the next day.

Honestly everyday i think about it im more happy to have picked the ravel for my wedding, it was the first venue we saw and didn't have to shop around thank you Natassa and Annie for been amazing to us

Im so planing our next party there in love with the place!!!

Many thanks to Annie and Penthouse 808/Ravel Hotel for the incredible service we received for our wedding in October (10/29/2011). We truly appreciated everything that she and the entire team did to make our day so memorable! First class service, food, atmosphere and hotel!

Coordinating a wedding from three states was certainly complex but Annie’s responsiveness, professionalism and experience was extremely helpful! At each step of the various decisions she ensured we had all the pertinent information and during our pre-visits to the hotel we were always given first class service both in the hotel and the restaurant! In the end, everything that was discussed came through perfectly. The menu was FANTASTIC and the food was delish. Chic and different, fusion! It really stands out from the same old wedding menu of salmon, chicken and steak!
Penthouse 808 staff were always one step ahead of everything on our wedding day, making sure the flow of everything (cocktail hour, ceremony, dance, food, cake) was concise and enjoyable for everyone. We really had nothing to worry about, which enabled us to focus on our special day and guests – and have a good time. The venue itself is just beautiful and fantastic -with breathtaking views of Manhattan and the 59th street Bridge. We got married in the afternoon and its wonderful there at ANY hour and in ANY weather. We were there once before the wedding and had awesome views of an approaching thunder storm over the city!
On the day itself we had many guests comment on the politeness and attentiveness of the team at Ravel. We are still hearing from family/friends almost a year later how wonderful everything was. On our wedding day we had the largest snowstorm in the month of October in over 50 years – so to deal with a weather event and yet not miss a single step – and always remaining calm and with a smile in all of the activities is truly uncommon! Annie and her team did a great job, right down to the hotel shuttle bus taking my family around LIC in the snow the night before of the wedding.
We had many guests came from other states, so being able to spend a beautiful afternoon with great food and beautiful views of the skyline was a memorable one. Booking a block of hotel rooms was easy and at a discounted rate, and everyone enjoyed the modern rooms with very comfortable beds and easy access to the city.
In a fast-paced world we felt like we stepped back in time and received service, courtesy, and manners that are hard to find.

I had my wedding ceremony here 8/31/13. I dealt mostly with one event planner leading up to the event, Meagan. She is warm, friendly, and extremely responsive. She took care of details for me including booking rooms at the hotel with an improved rate, confirming valet parking would be available, and adjusting the time of the event to suit our schedule. She had even used the venue for her own wedding, always a good sign. The day of the event, Natassa took the lead. She is very assertive, but not in an obnoxious way. She gets the job done and doesn't come close to stepping on toes. Very graceful and difficult task. She was extremely helpful at controlling an extremely wild Egyptian/Polish wedding with plenty of guests from abroad. She did our run-through the day before also very smooth and time efficient. For someone I had just met she made me feel extremely comfortable. As far as the venue, I really enjoyed the space. I love the NYC view. I'm local but for our guests it was really a site to see. The area is industrial, take it or leave it. We loved it! My husband fancies himself a hipster, and I just liked the contrast of tough nyc meets romantic wedding. It can be as sparse or full of decor as you like. It will look beautiful either way. Our wedding was large (250 people). If that is the case I recommend you look into having valet parking for your guests. The size of the wedding is the only reason we weren't able to have the reception there as well. MOST IMPORTANTLY: The best part of this venue is that you can have an outdoor wedding with the benefit of knowing that there is a retractable glass rooftop that can be closed if the weather turns for the worst. I convinced myself that if it did rain it will still look pretty darn cool!

So it's been over a month now and people are still talking about my wedding....
First I have to say Natassa was absolutely amazing, I live far from the venue and we work until well in to the evening. My husband and I were very pleased with the convenience of our appointments; yes many of them. We were kept up to date with all the changes and renovations being done to the venue, we booked a year and a half before the big day so it was nice to see some concerns we expressed come together, i.e. upholstery of the furniture and an additional bar. If you are ever in the market for a wedding coordinator you know they cost a few thousand dollars and that was just not in our budget, we didn’t need one with all Natassa did for us.
First, we had 3 tasting, very unheard of in the wedding industry. We tasted every dish and passed hor d'oeuvres in addition to our 2 signature drinks until we were completely satisfied. We even brought our families with us, since they were a little concerned about the untraditional venue we had chosen, they were flawed by the food and knew why we wouldn't get married anywhere else.
Our outside vendors such as our photographer and DJ also came along with us to appointments hosted by Natassa to ensure everyone was on the same page, this helped immensely. Our vendors never once stopped us throughout the wedding; they went straight to Natassa for anything they needed. Natassa made sure my wedding party was all together for our entrance and had anything and everything we needed at all times.
The linens & runners I wanted were not included in my wedding package so Natassa agreed to split the cost and ordered everything themselves, saving me time and a trip to deliver them.
When we arrived from our ceremony and pictures we were exhausted, the front desk had already checked us in and before we could even close the door Natassa was there to see if we needed anything and immediately sent down hor d'oeuvres and water. Every hor d'oeuvres was delightful, our favorite being tuna tartar on a crispy wonton, sushi, pine nut meatballs, slice beef with horseradish and the lobster roll. At our request they also offered both a soup or salad, tomato chili gazpacho (perfectly served and flavored) or organic greens with an Asian orange dressing. We had an open bar and our guest made sure they took full advantage, I requested no shots until later in the party to keep everyone on their toes lol and the bartenders were all on the same page. Our only issue was at first there were not enough bartenders at the large bar inside but that was quickly fixed.
I have to say from the owner down to the wait staff took excellent care of the tables, dishes were never lingering (a pet peeve of mine) and the owner even got down on his hands and knees to clean a sauce I had spilled on my dress. Yes the owner! Annie was also a great help communicating details and accommodating our time with Natassa leading up to the event.
We had such a warm and humid day, but it was apparent our guests were having such a good time they didn't seem to mind much. Right before our first dance it started to drizzle a little but the staff was ready to go and closed the retractable roof and walls right away, opening it maybe 10 minutes later just in time for my father daughter dance when the sun peeked through again.
The view was something I offered my guest that was priceless, especially at night. It is absolutely breathtaking. My husband was showing off some pictures of our wedding at work and someone even asked him where he got that beautiful backdrop lol, the bridge is so close it looks fake and the best part is you don’t hear any noise at all coming from the traffic just above.
The food was absolutely amazing!!!! The only bad thing I can say was some people were given their steak either over cooked or under cooked but it was basically just a mix up of where the plate belonged at the table setting. My father tasted the chicken at one of our tasting and could not stop talking about it until the wedding when he was pleasantly surprised, was just like he remembered, also unheard of. It is very hard to cook the same dish for 140 people as you did for 5 people. The banana spring rolls with ice cream were a perfect addition to our wedding cake. The diversity of food Ravel has to offer is perplex, not the usual pastas and a dried piece of chicken. This was very important to my husband and I as we wanted to offer our guest an Asian Fusion dining experience, on a budget, making the menu very personal to what we enjoy. We tried 3 different steaks before settling on a chim churri people couldn’t get enough of even with the generous portions and after trying 3 different types of fish we chose the halibut, both paired with coconut rice and bok choy. Lastly was the amazing French cut chicken perfectly paired with yam and onion fritters (I definitely suggest tasting, I was hesitant at first but the chef insisted and he was right on.) In addition Natassa allowed my stepson to customize the children’s menu to his liking for the few children that attended to include pork fried rice, chicken, French fries and sliders.
Most of our guest stood over night and did not want to leave when our wedding ended at 11pm, we partied well until 3am when it was open to the public for a great Memorial Day party and Natassa and her staff made sure we were well taken care of until the very end.
We did have a leak in our roof in the bathroom, the week leading up to the event it had rained almost 5 days straight. Someone came up right away and took care of it even offering to move us to another suite but we opted not to. Our guests were also satisfied with their rooms, especially the contemporary bathrooms. After the staff cleaned up for the wedding most of what I had to take home was brought down to my suite and some things Natassa kept in her office and it was a pleasure to come back 2 weeks later to have a drink on a gorgeous night and pick everything up.

My husband and I got married at the Ravel hotel about 9 months ago. It was one of the happiest, most fun days of both of our lives that was accentuated by the helpful event planning staff of the Ravel Hotel. I will start by saying that we are both very laid back. We didn't have a large budget, but being as stubborn as we both are, wanted so badly to get married in New York, where we live. I dreamed of having a terrace wedding overlooking the Manhattan skyline where we could entertain our out of town family and friends, as if to say "look how awesome this place is!". It was an amazing day and night.

To this day, our friends and family remark on how that was "the best wedding I have ever been to", and "the food at your wedding was amazing!". I agree with both of these statements. To start, the terrace is unbelievably beautiful, the views of Manhattan at sundown could make you weep. The cocktails, food, and service is terrific, creative, and entertaining. The rooms are spacious, well cooled, and urban chic in design. We had no problems with noise (although, to be fair, we may have been the noise). Also:

1) Annie (the event planner at the Ravel) is the most accomadating, sweet, and organized woman I have met. She is professional to a T and an awesome chick as well.

2) They accomodated my Gluten Free diet for our wedding! This was awesome. Not only did we enjoy (love, love, love) our menu tasting dates- where we got to select a variety of gluten free apps and entrees like sushi rolls (with gluten free soy sauce!), greek sliders with cucumber yogurt sauce, and grilled salmon with polenta, the FOOD WAS AMAZING. For anyone who has ever been to a wedding, you know how much the food is usually boring and terrible and totally not worth the price. Our wedding meal remains one of the best New York meals I have had in my 6 years living here. They also accomodated my vegetarian friends and my kosher friends. The chef there is AMAZING.

3) They accomodated us with a room block at a discounted rate for family and friends. This was amazing because it was like a giant family reunion, where we were all under the same roof for the whole weekend. No one needed to drive anywhere to attend our wedding, just take the elevator to the 8th floor! The night before the wedding, we chilled at salsa night on the terrace, and the morning after we were shuttled (by their service) to a family brunch in Astoria.

4) Our signature cocktail was a Spicy Pear Margarita. Need I say more?

5) Ok, fine, I will. We had a champagne toast of some of the best Rose I've tasted.

6) The bartending and wait staff was courteous and sweet as well as nicely dressed.

7) We had the best Wedding suite (for free). My husband and I spent our first night together with the best views of the 59th street bridge and Manhattan you have ever seen. We were feeling groovy!

8) They have a nearby order in service from a diner. The morning my bridesmaids were getting ready with me, we ordered omelets to be delivered at the hotel. I was nervous and couldn't eat much, but it was awesome, convenient, and delicious.

10) My wedding planner was able to reach Annie at any time, and we were able to set up multiple meetings with her for planning.

11) They allowed my brother (who is a professional DJ), to DJ our wedding on their sound system! People still tell me how awesome the music was.

12) My mom, the baller, shot caller, who paid for the whole thing, was thoroughly satisifed and wrote a review right after the wedding. And as many of you know, if mommy ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. She was treated with respect and was a happy customer.

BUT, Annie and staff jumped right in and gave us our options for a tent, which we ultimately went with. They say that's good luck anyway. We're still going strong, so maybe!

14) Our families toured New York the next day via the N train, which is near the hotel. It was almost a destination wedding for non New Yorkers. China town, the Statue of Liberty, and Grimaldi's were all among favorites for our guests that weekend.

15) Our wedding pictures are amazing. I have a framed picture of my husband placing the ring on my finger, the background is the empire state building, and the 59th street bridge. I mean, come on!

As I said, we are very laid back. We didn't have a lot of money to spend and I was comfortable with a more casual, party feel for our wedding. I had no veil, just a huge smile. We had no flowers, just the lights of the city, we had no pretense, just great cocktails that flowed all the way through dancing to Jay Z's "Empire State of Mind" around midnight. If you have money and expectations for a Plaza wedding, go there. If you want to party with the love of your life and your peeps Queens style-Ravel is it.

My husband and I found Penthouse 808 at the Ravel Hotel to be the perfect venue for our wedding reception. We met and fell in love in NYC, actually in Astoria Queens, so having our celebration in the neighborhood we knew and loved was important to us. When we first inquired about hosting our reception at the Penthouse, we weren’t sure it was something we could afford, anyone planning a wedding knows how difficult it can be to align your budget with your vision of what you want. Penthouse staff invited us to come by the venue and discuss our initial thoughts on guest numbers, food, timing, drinks, music, and of course budget. We met with Natassa Contini, who led us through the entire process, by the time we left after our first meeting we already knew it was the perfect venue for us. Over the next few months (we planned for about 7 months), Natassa helped us to work within our budget to accommodate everything we wanted. The food was delicious, the wine was amazing, we barely needed to spend money on flowers and decorations since the amazingly stunning background of the night sky and the bridge were there, and the items we did bring for favors/flowers/card birdcage were all set up by the staff with little more than an outline by us. We filled our room block with our guests and even used the Ravel shuttle to get to our Church ceremony in the neighborhood. We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing night. Thank you Penthouse 808!

Wedding Reception at Penthouse 808

Pros
The Chef.
Their chef is Jeffrey K. of Porterhouse. The menu he created for our reception was phenomenal.

The view.
They have a beautiful rooftop party space, with skyline views: Queensboro Bridge on one side and Silvercup Studios on the other.

Events Staff
Natassa is the Events Coordinator and Annie is her assistant. Although Annie comes across as abrasive in her e-mail communications,
she is extremely competent and on target. Natassa is a very good sales woman.

Cons

Poor Communication between members of the staff
Natassa works the night shift and Annie during the day. Early on it became apparent that things that were discussed in evening meetings with Natassa were not communicated to Annie. Also, Annie's e-mail communications are quite abrasive. It was quite challenging communicating with her at times. However, we still trusted Natassa to manage our actual reception efficiently and professionally. Then prior to our wedding, Natassa went on vacation and our final meeting was with Annie. It is clear from what happened at the reception that everything was not communicated.

Wedding Cake was not served
They never served our wedding cake to our guests. Our mothers never received a piece. I asked the waitstaff (Natassa was not present) several times for the cake.

We served a traditional French wedding cake, a croqumbouche--profiteroles in the shape of a pyramid--after I had broken off a piece each for our parents and a piece for ourselves, they took it away to cut it up and they NEVER served it. Now our outstanding pastry chef had given extra profiteroles for our guests. The waitstaff passed them around to half of our guests. At the end of the night, Natassa told me that my guests did not want them. However, my Aunt, my mother and my mother-in-law were all waiting for a piece. And she did not ask me or my husband what we wanted.

Follow-up
I have received an apology, which given the one-time (hopefully) nature of the event that is best I can hope for.

Conclusion
The food was phenomenal and the view was great. If you just want a night out with a delectable menu and a great view go here. If you go with this site for your reception, put everything in writing and have a day of coordinator or a friend acting as one, enforcing everything. Even things that you cannot imagine going wrong.

The place is beautiful and I was happy with everything.
Yet a few things happened during the reception (things that I noticed, and things that my family and friends alerted me about) that upset me a little bit:
1.the way your team started to move around the table was really not as discrete as you had promised us ; they were being not very nice to people and moving chairs and tables that had my guests' belongings on them. Even Giacomo lost his suit jacket for a while and eventually his best man found it again on the other side of the Penthouse. 2. Whenever they were collecting the tablecloths, they were not being attentive to the guests who were still finishing their food. 3. In collecting the tablecloths, they removed and trashed all of our beautiful flowers; my mother had to run in to the kitchen and get MY bouquet from them which was on her table and which was about to me trashed. I know that this might seem a little detail, but since you must know how expensive flowers are and how precious they are, it might be nice to ask the mother of the bride if they want to keep them. 4. your team did not at all arrange my flowers; there were not even the vases to put them in. My mother had to go around and lay them on the tables. 5. The cake moment didn't come out really as I was expecting. None of the guests had the glass of champagne in his hand for a toast, so we could not give a toast. I was also expecting the sparklers as we had arranged just few days before the wedding.. which sounded really exciting but never happened for some reason..?! 6. People started to come into the Penthouse at 11 pm --we had arranged for 11.30 pm. This is truly upsetting and I d like to understand how this could have happened, and I d like explanations on this point. 7. You never mentioned that people under 21 could not stay after midnight. Since you knew we had some people under 21, perhaps more than what your clients usually have, you should have informed us.

We got married here sept 25th 2010, although this place has a wonderful view and rooftop, i highly recommend looking elsewhere for your wedding. there are other places in the area which you can put your money into and actually feel like they care about your big day. these people were the worst vendor we have worked with for our entire wedding. Natassa did nothing to help make the process go smoothly. She never gave me proper instructions or paperwork to reserve my hotel rooms, so our whole families had to stay a few blocks away!
They even changed our wedding date (after blowing us off for 2 weeks and no communication) before we signed the contract because a "bigger", "better" more expensive party wanted to have the date.
We even had to start late since our room was not ready (after reconfirming check in time a few days before)!
Even our day of coordinator could not believe how we were being treated.
Believe me, it's not worth the stress this will cause. Look elsewhere.

Penthouse 808 was exactly what my fiance and I were looking for in a venue, however, due to some major lapses in communication on their part we were forced to look elsewhere.

When we first met with Natassa, she completely won us over with her charm, professional attitude, and attentiveness. We felt really confident that we'd have a great wedding there. But for some reason it went completely downhill after that. We asked her and her assistant for an estimate and it took ONE MONTH to get back to us. At that point we had decided to forgo them, but then figured we'd give them another shot since we were happy with what we were quoted. We made a follow up appointment to meet with Natassa and go over the nitty gritty of the contract, and when we arrived for our meeting, we learned that due to a mix up one of the hostesses mistakenly cancelled our appointment AND Natassa had left. The hostess was very apologetic and GUARANTEED Natassa would get back to us the next day, but we didn't hear from Natassa until a week later. At that point we had already made our decision to not go with them. We were finally told that she was out sick, but I don't understand why they couldn't just tell us that to begin with. Needless to say, we couldn't trust them to handle our wedding. Major dropping of the ball.
