Compared to other churches, Queen of Peace really stands out. It's amazingly picturesque and your pictures will come out perfect! The priests are all helpful and friendly. Our music was also done by the music director and he did a fantastic job. You are also able to do PreCana directly through the church. Queen of Peace is the way to go for your wedding church!

Queen of Peace is a gorgeous church and would recommend to anyone as long as you don't mind walking down a very very long aisle. The donation that they recommend is $300. My cousin who is a Msgr. at another church was able to marry us at QP. The music was unbelievable and I believe worth every penny. The only disappointment for us was that they would not allow an aisle runner. As for the unity candle, we lit ours at the reception while my cousin intertwined a blessing for us and the lighting of the candle before our dinner at the reception. He personally did not believe in it, as it was something that has been done in the past but never really a part of the Catholic service. Everyone at the reception thought it was really nice, and the reason why it worked was because he explained that although we are now joined as one we were still individuals therefore there was no need to blow out the individual candles. It was really nice and EVERYONE got to see it, not just the close family and friends that were at the church. As for champagne outside of the church, we did it, not sure if you are supposed to? It was a beautiful wedding!!

Queen of Peace is a beautiful church, and Father Brian did a great job on our ceremony. However, $500 is a bit much for a wedding service at a parish you are a member of. The mucisians are also expensive, at $250 each for Ithe hour. The church also discourages you from doing some of the newer traditions, like a unity candle, and bans champagne outside the church. However, I recently attended a wedding there where they allowed it, so i think it depends on who you are.
