My fiancé and I fell in love with the home and decided to get married here. What a mistake... Beverly (innkeeper) was super nice to us upon our first visit and she provided us with a great wedding package so we gave her a $1,000 deposit. We wanted to get married in September and she said there was one date available because someone had just cancelled their wedding and forfeited the $1,000 deposit. I thought to myself why would anyone ever give up $1,000? Well I soon found out...

My fiancé and I went over our expectations with Beverly verbally, through email and even in the "estimate" she gave us. We have 4 different estimates and 3 invoices because she kept screwing up pricing and other details.

About 2 months after we deposited $1,000 she backtracked and said the bartender would only serve our guests for 1 hour, "happy hour", after the ceremony and that this was all clearly written out in the service agreement. She had yet to send us a service agreement and all of our correspondence leading up to this led me to believe the bartender would serve for the entire 4 hour reception. After all, we did select the $32/person "Full Bar Package." Oh, and although her literature said this venue is ALL INCLUSIVE and DJ services are provided, that just means you bring in an iPod and she will push play.

All of her literature says this is an all-inclusive wedding and lists the services she provides, but buyer beware! Her emails to me were so rude I thought it'd be better for us to speak in person because perhaps she did not mean to come across that way... WRONG! We met with this lady to discuss the details of our wedding and hash out all of the misunderstandings and she was extremely rude to us and said the misunderstanding is completely on our part and she completely disrespected us the entire time we were there.

The best $1,000 I ever spent was telling her to kiss my behind and walking away from that stinking place!

Beverly (innkeeper) is off her rocker. My plan was to get a room and have my bridesmaids and I get ready there on the day of the wedding. I spoke with a few times about this and she said this was fine. When I went to look at the place her husband had showed us around. She was unable to do so because she had just had surgery. I loved the place and thought it would be great for pictures. I gave them my credit card information for them to hold in file. I told the husband there would be about 8 of us getting ready and he said he needed to ask his wife if that was okay. He came back and said it was fine. We leave and 10 minutes later I get a call from Beverly saying " you never told me about 8 girls" I assured her that I had and she began screaming at me. I told her they weren't sleeping there; they would only get ready there and take pictures. She hung up on me. I sent and email right after telling her that if she was uncomfortable that I would just cancel. She didn't responded. My sister in law called about an hour later to cancel and she began screaming at her and demanding for me to get in the phone. After 15 minutes of that I got on the phone and told her I was uncomfortable and didn't want to stay there. She then began to tell me about a no refund policy. Long story short I now have my bank fighting to get my money back. She is rude and disrespectful. Biggest mistake of my life!!! I would never recommend her to my worse enemy!

I had a very positive experience with Rosewood Manor. Every spot in that house is a great photo backdrop and so every shot is like something out of a movie. Your photographs are going to be how you remember your wedding for the rest of your life and I am not exaggerating when I say that no matter where you take a photo in that house, it looks gorgeous. There is an upstairs space for the women to get ready and a downstairs space for the men. The upstairs bedrooms are very ornate with opulent beds and mirrors which again make for an awesome atmosphere. The downstairs room for the men has a pool table and more manly things, so the spaces were very appropriate for the respective groups. The staircase that greets you when you walk into the Manor has a 'Gone with the Wind" feel and a great first impression. The outdoor altar they have is breath taking and unfortunately, it rained on my wedding day forcing the wedding inside. On my first visit, I was not overly impressed with the basement, particularly when you consider the beauty of the rest of the home and the outdoor altar, but the space is more meant for function and a large group of people. However, I must say with the all of the décor and flower arrangements, it was truly beautiful. If you are looking for a wedding that has a timeless quality and you want a "princess" feel to your special day, I would highly recommend this place. Their innkeeper was also very flexible with me and let me visit the location with vendors whenever I wanted to provided that I gave prior notice.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Rosewood Manor this past December. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. This venue is a hidden gem and is absolutely beautiful. The pictures posted don't do this venue justice. Everything was perfect about our reception. Dr. Farrall was helpful and professional throughout the planning process and offered several suggestions on menus and the details of our reception. The immaculate cleanliness of the venue was also notable. My husband and I received several compliments from guests on how wonderful the venue was and how delicious the food tasted. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast for a wedding venue, any special occasion and as a place to stay.

This location is absolutely beautiful, but is located in the country. I am a country girl so it was the perfect setting for us. The pictures on their website do not do the place just. It does make for awesome wedding photos after the event. That said the mid rating is due to the lack of professionalism and forgetfulness of the innkeeper at this bed and breakfast. I had to remind them quite a bit on previous discussions and what was in my contract. Once I even had to remind her of my wedding date!!! (I was so angry about that) Please make sure you keep her focused and write everything in email to document decisions made and what they are going to provide you.

The food we had a the reception was not at all what we recalled from our tasking. The bread was not what we ordered nor was the chicken as juicy and good. Be careful with the caterer that they will only allow you to use and make sure you have someone paying close attention to that detail. I was extremely disappointment with the quality of the food served to my guest.

My pictures were beautiful so that made it worth it and my guest loved the place. We had a party of 80 guest and that was tight. They will tell you that they can make it work, but really it is only appropriate for about 50-60 guest.
