Do you have liability insurance?
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Yes! I offer multiple images that have both color and black & white/sepia/vintage. I also personally edit and enhance each image to bring out their optimal beauty.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Yes. I have done weddings in full sun, shade, night, indoor and outdoor. You name it, I've probably done it!
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital. I love being able to enhance the image and correct any imperfections that may surface.
How many photographers do you work with?
Varies. Depending on the time of year, anywhere from one to three. That is for networking and other purposes. For my weddings, I do work solo unless the situation requires multiple photographers.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Absolutely. If I cannot be there, I also guarantee that I will find an outstanding replacement.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No. I feel that it is more important to give each wedding their own personal time. Especially if a circumstance arose where they needed me the day before, I want to be available!
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Definitely. I am networking with other photographers constantly!
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Camera, several lenses, flashes, business cards, umbrella, tissues (in case none are available for the bride), and more!
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Absolutely. It is a necessity!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
It is not necessary to provide a meal for me, but I am grateful if it is.
Do you charge for travel?
If it is more than one hour away from my location.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I have all of the images edited and ready to present within three weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
jpg format on a disk to the bride and groom.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
These are theirs permanently. In addition, I offer a site for their friends and family to order prints.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes. I do offer printing rights if the bride and groom wish to purchase the maximum resolution images from the entire wedding.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes I do.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Will images be available for viewing online?
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer small albums through my printing site. I do not offer large wedding albums at this time.
