DO NOT BOOK THIS CATERER! I booked this caterer over 4 months ago and paid my $500 deposit. I have recently tried to follow up with them and after two weeks of trying, I finally got a call back from Susie. She told me that they had been on vacation and assured me that everything was fine. I was still feeling uneasy about it this week so we pulled up their website...no longer working. Tried to call them...phone number is disconnected. Emails get returned undeliverable. Fax number doesn't work. Leaving a bad review makes me feel better but maybe this company just got too many bad reviews and is now out of business or in hiding. Whatever it is...I'd like my $500 back ASAP

DO NOT BOOK THIS CATERER! I booked this caterer over 4 months ago and paid my $500 deposit. I started searching for reviews six weeks before my wedding on this caterer due to the fact that I couldn't get a hold of her whether it was through email or phone calls. My coordinator left several messages, the person that referred me to Susie left several messages until FINALLY, I got a call from Susie two weeks later. Thanks to the previous reviews, I knew this wasn't the first time she encountered a stressed out bride. After explaining to her my discontent and mentioning to her that she has some damaging reviews online, she apologized for the lack of service and promised that I would not be disappointed. The big day came and she managed to come through with everything from the food to the wonderful service that was provided by her waitstaff. I was absolutely blown away! After reading the nightmares people went through, I thought I would be the next, but I was completely happy the day of the wedding. In the end, Susie could have easily received a 5 star review if she simply would have kept in contact from time to time or called my my coordinator back to confirm everything as agreed.

DO NOT USE THIS CATERING COMPANY.

We are VERY disappointed with their service at our wedding on August 1, 2009. The one thing that everyone was happy with was the taste of the food - thank God. Having said that, the owner does not know how to run a business.

* They did not arrive on time, nor were they set up on time as stated in our contract.
* In general, staff members seemed unconcerned with the time-line and were disorganized.
* The owner (Susie) did not brief the staff on the chain of events or the bartender on what the specialty drink was (they kept calling me to find out while I was getting ready!)
* They brought white napkins; we had ordered navy. They had time to correct the napkins, but did not even though they said they would. Which changed the look/setup of our tables. AND they didn't have enough napkins!
* They did not set up the linen on the tables; instead, my friends had to get them off the racks and set them since the staff was late.
* They did not set the tables outside, before or after the ceremony as stated in our contract. As a result, 12 people who did not have a seat felt like outcasts and had to get someone to set them! Furthermore, one of the servers told my friend off ("poor baby") when she informed him that she could not find adjoining seats for her party of three.
* They did not set up the appetizers buffet by the time stated in our contract.
* They did not open the wine on the tables, or chill the white wine - I had to ask to have the bottles opened once we sat down.
* The water pitchers were empty half way through dinner and not refilled until I specifically asked.
* The package states that an "event coordinator" would be on the premises and they use it as a selling point, but there is no one.
* I supplied Susie with a detailed checklist and map b/c she seemed so unorganized and unclear. Obviously, it wasn't even glanced at.
* When we met two weeks before the wedding, she tried to charge me another $350 for something.. but she couldn't figure out exactly why the linen #'s weren't adding up. Again - b/c of the first review I read, I had clearly spelled everything out in our contract so I knew what I was getting... and she signed it.
* I emailed Susie about all of the issues above and have not received any response to apologize or even try to rectify the situation. VERY BAD BUSINESS...

DO NOT BOOK THIS CATERER. They were impossible to work with. They never returned emails and phone calls. If they did return your phone call or email it would be at least a couple weeks later. They were very unprofessional. They basically are nice to you and attend to your every need until they get your initial deposit and then after that they kind of forget about you.
Here is the list of problems I had at my wedding that just happened on May 9th, 2009.

-We ordered a sea bass with miso glazed seasoning. The fish was boiled and had no sauce at all. It was gross.
-We paid $350 for them to string up 9 strands of lights and they only did 2 strands and they were too low where everyone was hitting their heads.
-I paid for organza linens and I got a cheap looking satin.
-The appetizers were not as described. They looked and tasted different from what we ordered. We ordered a crab cake with a apricot sauce and got wasabi. Some were even frozen still.
-The layout they initally gave me did not work and we only ended up with a one sided buffet line that took forever to get food. My guests were starving! I felt so bad! Our place we had our wedding was really small so this made it look really bad.
-They took plates from the condos that we rented out that is connected to where we har our wedding and failed to return them untill the next couple of days. I wasn't even aware that they even borrowed plates. They didn't have enough plates!
Overall they were just a nightmare to work with. Susie and her partner are not business savy and do not do things like normal businesses do. We paid them a lot of money and we were very unhappy with what they produced. The food was not good and not nearly like what we tasted at our food tasting. Please Please take my advise when I say look somewhere else for a cater. You will be heartbroken like I was. Our wedding would of been perfect if the cater was what we thought they were...

The food was good, except the contract wasn't adhered to. Extra charges were added about 2 weeks from the event that were not on the contract or explained. The company failed to contact the reception site about the days event until the last days before the event. The event was taken off the reception site's books because of the lack of contact with the catering company, until a few days before the event.
